Lore: Obsidian!!! The Village of the Black Stone!!!

This is the Border that most of the people in Arken want to cross. People in Ighten are not allowed to cross it unless under orders by the Queen herself. The mountain is always covered in snow.

Lore: Obsidian!!! The Village of the Black Stone!!!

A brisk wind blew across the mountains as Arlian awoke from his sleep. The young woman he met yesterday, lays across his bare chest. He smiles and threads his fingers together, cushioning his head against a tree.

His fingers moved over her brow, removing loose strands of her golden hair from face. She roused with a soft smile. Her blue eyes met his and he kissed her softly on the head. "Good morning," Arlian said.

"Good morning," she replied closing her eyes and nestling up to his warm body. The air was warmed by the beams of the morning sun. It peaked its golden beams through the treetops warming their skin.

"Did you sleep well?" Arlian asked running his fingers through her hair.

"Very well!" she didn't stir from her place.

It had reached mid-day by the time they got up. They had laid around in the warm morning atmosphere half the day. A small lizard scurried across the ground not to far in front of them. Arlian breathed in deep, taking in the fresh cool air. They were nearly back to town now.

As they walked into the village, the girl kissed Arlian and scampered off to her house. Arlian didn't have far to walk because his house was just as you entered the main gate into the town. Arlian walked in the door and saw his mother sitting in the kitchen with Barlin. "Good moning," he said grabbing a biscuit from the pan on the table.

"Morning?" his mother replied sternly. "Morning was over an hour ago. Where have you been?"

Arlian could feel the eyes of Barlin and his mother burning into his back as he turned to go back outside. "I fell asleep by the creek yesterday evening." he replied partly truthful. His mother didn't approve of the way he bedded different girls and always knew when he would lie about them. He would always try and shake off the questions.

"Were you alone?" she asked, her voice still hard but not mad.

"No..." he turned back to face the two of them. "I was there with Brusto's daughter, Alisa." He smiled. "Honestly we fell asleep and woke up just this morning." Barlin returned a smirk.

"Alright," she replied, not pressing the issue. She really didn't care if he was lying or not. "Will you be helping me in town this morning?" she finally asked after a moment of silence between them.

"Yes ma'am. I'll be ready in a few minutes." he went into the bathroom to wash his face and try and give himself a little more life.

The sun beamed down on the back of Arlian's neck as he walked down the busy streets of Obsidian. He soon arrived in front of the village hospital. The front door was open, and just inside sat an old lady and his mother.

"Good afternoon, Miss Aterly." he said with a smile. He knelt beside the woman and rested his hands on hers. "Now you know you're too young to be in the hospital. What'd you do? Ya got your kids somewhere around here and I just don't see them?" He joked.

The old woman laughed softly. "You're so sweet." She coughed gruffly for a few minutes. "But I've just got this horrible cough and I don't know why."

Elexus studied the woman and gave her a normal check-up. "Hmm...?" She said a bit confused. "Everything seems normal." Arlian watched his mother as she worked. He usually just let her do most of the work and he just filled in where she needed help. They had both grown accustomed to the routine.
