Deletion of several users

You may have noticed, but recently we have had a large string of people registering for this forum for the sake of advertising a commercial website in their user profiles. If I have deleted a user that was planning to be active and had a website like that up for some reason, then I apologize and ask you to register again. We have also turned on user confirmation, so you will have to register under an existing e-mail now.

Today we cleaned out a number of bot-users from the member database. If any of these belonged to legitimate members, we're very sorry for the inconvenience, but please recreate your login information via the top of this page ("register"). No users with actual post histories were deleted.
