LORE: The Beginning to Their End
Damien laughed at the pathetic human that shivered at his feet. He knelt down beside him. "What's wrong my child?" he asked.
Damien was now a young man of 18, and his power had developed greatly He was now well built and broad shouldered.
Out of the darkness of the trees stepped a monstorous demon. He laughed again. "You're not afraid of him now are you?" Damien joked. The young man at his feet yelled and hid himself behind Damien. Damien stepped up to the beast. It towered way above his head. He must been at least 7 feet tall.
"Who are you?" the demon growled.
"That's of no concern to you now is it? Damien replied.
"Fine!! out of my way..." he pushed Damien to the side and walked passed him.
"Now that wasn't very polite?"
The demon turned around and faced Damien. "So?"
Damien smiled, "I think you owe me an apology..." he toyed with a rock that he had picked up before the beast had turned around.
"You think I owe you what?" The fiend laughed, "I don't owe you shit...and you're wasting my time..." The demon turned back to the scared human.
"Don't touch him or else..."
"Or else what?"
"Or else you die" the rock disintegrated in mid air as he tossed it up.

The demon didn't back down however. He had fought many magicians in his day and mere boy was not going to scare him. He then laughed at Damien. "Is that supposed to scare me?"
Damien smiled in return, "No... Just warn you."
"Ive seen young magicians like you before, and the only way you learn is to be taught a lesson."
"Oh... I don't think you've seen any quite like me." The ground beneath his feet began to steam.
The fiend laughed again, and the ground began to shake chaotically. "You're not the only one with nice tricks."
Damien admired the demons strength and power, and thought he would be a better ally then a dead enemy. "Men of our power shouldn't be fighting. We should be killing those weaker and finding those stronger to follow us in our crusade against the queens."
"I don't follow anyone..."
"...And I'm not asking you to," Damien interrupted. "I won't to fight beside you and you help me build an army."

The demon stared at Damien pondering his offer. "Why should I fight beside you?" He said in a strong, deep tone. "I don't need your help..."
Damien laughed lightly. "Alright, fine, but when the queens go to war and you are quivering at their feet, don't expect me to help you." He turned around and continued down the road.

Down the road and beside a small fire sat a hooded figure leaning against a rock. The figure was small in shape, not broad enough to be a man, but the darkness behind the hood was so much so that one could not see the face, even with the fire light glowing around the person.
To the left was a black war horse, which had black voids for eyes. The stead huffed slightly and stomped his hooves impatiently, eager for his dinner.
The figure sat motionlessly, looking almost a sleep, wrapped in that midnight black cloak. The black clad figure raised their head and the light caught the glimmer of a pair of peircing crystal blue orbs. Eyes that could cut into a beings soul, or burn it out.
The horses head shot in the direction of a noise that sounded very much like feet walking. He snorted and stomped his hoof harder.
"I hear it, Fireheart," a feminine voice said, coming from underneath the black hood. She lifted a hand out from under the cloak, placing it over her knee. The hand was covered in a leather glove. The fingers of the glove were cut off to the first joints and the glove attatched to a leather arm guard held around her arm with metal clasps.

The demon thought about the boy's question then saw the people now standing around their commotion. He suddenly felt embarrassed that he had even let the boy scare him into thinking about such a proposition. "Scare," the demon's thought popped out of his mouth. "You don't scare me," he yelled in a burst of rage.
Damien turned around and smiled dryly at his foe. "Your mistake," he said. He simply stepped aside and the demon collapsed to the ground right past him.
The people and demons around laughed at him. This made his rage worse. Damien kept his poise however and just stared at the demon.
"You've embarrassed me one two many times boy," he growled.
"Fine, let me end your embarrassment!!!" Damien said getting annoyed by the fiend. As the beast charged him again he was engulfed in massive flame.

Mi turned and tilted her head to the side. She listened to the distant conversation and watched as fire caught life in the small distance away. A towering inferno of what appeared to be a creature.
"Hmmm," she mused. "Looks like I'm not the only one who enjoys playing with fire."
Fireheart snorted at her comment and she smiled a seductive smirk under her dark hood. "Maybe they will come this way." If not, she didn't care. Though, it would be interesting to meet a fellow fire "fighter"

The demon ran around frantically. but the fire didn't cease at all. Damien was tired of the attention for the moment and decided to end it. He snapped his fingers and the demon that was now a blaze of glory turned into an enormous cloud of black smoke and drifted off with the wind.
Damien disappeared in the crowd and continued his walk. It wasn't long before something caught his eye. A dark hooded figure beside a solid black stallion. As he walked by his dark eyes met her icy blue ones.
He didn't stop but continued his pace. As he passed though he felt a strange chill go past him. Something powerful was close by. His thoughts went back to the figure and he stopped and looked back.

Mi smirked. "Oh, a very good animal. I'm afraid he's not fond of strangers, however."
As if on cue, Fireheart stomped his foot harder and jerked his head to the side.
Mi decided not to show her face at the moment. She knew that some men became completely distracted after looking at her. She never really understood why.
"I took him from the Captain of the Queen's Guard. We had a... disagreement and... Well, the horse needed someone to look after him afterwards."

Damien glared into the horses eyes and saw that it was full of spirit. "I like you already," he said as he stepped closer to the horse. "But I must ask, why do you hide your face? Is your voice the only part of you that is lovely?" He lifted a hand and the horse snorted but he held his gaze with the beast. He turned to the woman as his hands went on the horse who now allowed Damien to pet him.

Mi smiled and decided that he had asked for it. She reached up to her hood with both hands and slowly let it down to reveal a smooth face with full lucious lips, bright blue eyes, shoulder length blond hair with black steaks at the bottom and a tattoo of corn size tattoo of a half moon beside her right eye.
"I would hope that my voice was not the only thing beautiful, but I'll leave that for you to decide."

There was no denying that she was beautiful, but Damien had extreme discipline and self control. He didn't show any sign of emotion as she lowered the cloak.
"You are quite lovely," he said, "However, you are not Shea." He tried to test the girl. He knew she had great strength but he wanted to test her will power.

The young woman smiled. "You are right," she said with a smile. "I only sleep with men worthy enough. Men strong enough. Men powerful enough to handle me. Anyone else... well, you play with fire... you might get burned." She tilted her head.
She opened her hand and her blue eyes turned crimson and in the palm of her hand a flame erupted.
