Laya looked at Adonis for a moment and sighed, standing up. She didn't understand why he was so rude to her. She didn't know what she had done to the thing. All she had done was be nice to him, even after he tried to kill her. She had to hold her tongue to keep from yelling at the horse as if he were Adonis.
She looked back at Neko, then went and nelt beside the woman.
"Maybe you should take a hot bath? I know I want one!" she said and laughed, then wondered silently if this was a "public bath" based town. She knew that Hepian, the main part was a "public bath" oriented place.
"I could also use some clothes that don't have burn holes in them," she said and laughed softly, looking up at Telanis with a soft smile.

Neko sighed tiredly, not in an annoyed tone but just because she was in fact tired. She stood up and led Laya around the house to the large wooden structure.
"Inside is the bath, seperated female and males. Left side is female and rightside is males." Neko instructed in a dull tone. "I'll bring you some clothes out......"

Laya finished her bath and grabbed a large towel off of a shelf. She wrapped it around her lean form and stepped out of the bath tub, walking to the door. She opened it up, feeling secure in the bathtowel. No one would hurt her.
"Hey, Neko... are you okay?" she said when she saw the woman. "You look sick. There is a chair in here, maybe you should sit for a while."

Telanis watched the two girls go off to take their bath, considering going with them. Neko had seemed upset, and he still appreciated the focus that being near to them provided. However, he found after they left that the city was much quieter than it had been the night before. For the most part, the villagers had gone to sleep, and their emotions were muffled by dreams. Relieved, he sat down on the steps where Neko had been sleeping and touched the soil at their base thoughtfully with his hand, tracing a pattern into it with his finger. There was a different kind of life about this body that he didnt feel with his proper one, but there was also a distinct sense of mortality. He could feel himself aging, very very slowly, and the unfamiliar presence of death was a bit frightening. He tried to trace a drawing into the soil, but didn't have the hand control to make anything recognizable.
Having fun? a voice laden with frayed patience spoke to him. It almost looks like you want to be human.
I may as well explore the experience while the situation requires it, Telanis answered simply.
The less you understand it, the better. Though for my own part, I suppose it can only help you in the end.
What can help me?
Seeing the truth about humans firsthand. I meant to teach you myself, but at this rate, it seems you won't need my help. There was a trace of amusement in his voice, but not a happy kind.
Telanis shook his head unhappily, throwing off his brother's voice. But Adonis had already delivered what he'd wanted to say. The black unicorn leaned against the wall of his stall, feeling a vague sense of progress that helped make up for the frustration of being trapped in this wooden structure like some farm animal.

"Oh," Neko said a little surprised. She was so exhausted she forget about Laya's need for clothes. "I'm sorry, ah, stay in there and I'll bring you something!" HUrrying across the grass and passing Telanis, Neko entering the house and went into her old room. She hurriedly picked a kimono for Laya to wear, thinking she could change into something different later.
Neko came back out at a bit of a run. "here," she said holing out the kimono to Laya.

Laya had her back to the door. She dropped the towel, letting it slip to her feet. Then she lifted the kimono and pulled it on around her arms and then tied the "ribbon" around her slim waist. Kimono's reminded her of just beautiful bathrobes, or something. She never felt entirely comfortable wearing one...
