LORE: Mature: Unforgiven

The Captial of Arken, it is the darkest known city in the world. As it is the capital and the home to the Witch Queen herself, it is a very dangerous place to enter. Home to the toughest and roughest crooks around.

Especialy ours he thought. "Yes they are," he agreed. He gave her a slight kiss on the cheek and looked down at baby Luther. Airen felt a feeling of sorrow in him. He couldn't accept him as his own and didn't know why.

He looked back up at Elena. "I'm going to go take a bath." He left the room without another word.

Elena smiled and looked down at her child, rocking him back and forth. "Father's are silly too," Elena said. The child giggled.

She sighed happily, holding her child for a long moment and then she laid the child in its bed again when he was tired.

The war had begun and Airen had chosen his side. He would fight along side of Shea and the kingdom of Arken. He would take his army and destroy the masses.

Over the past year Luther had grew a great bit. He seemed to be as if he were 18 years old. Yet he was only a year. He had moved out on his own and Airen rarely seen him. No matter though for Airen still didn't feel that Luther was his son.

Airen's power had grown even stronger over the past year also and he embraced it with open arms. He had arranged a meeting with his cult group, Hell's Gatekeepers, and had an unexpected surprise for everyone.

Elena was in her library pulling a book out of the shelf. The doors to the library opened and the servants scattered slightly as Luther casted his dark gaze on them.

She guessed it was the fact that Airen was his father... and the demon blood was what made him grow older. He had grown into a handsome man, which made sense since Airen was his father.

He moved across the black marble flooring, his black robs moving gracefully with him. For Elena it was hard to notice that there was something different about her child. To her, he was her child... It was hard to think of him as a child anymore... She missed having what other parents had. She wanted a child that took longer to grow up. It made her sad to not have the childhood she could have wittnessed.

"Mother," Luther said and smiled at her. His eyes trailed over her form for a moment.

Elena had become accustomed to wearing the clothes of a Arken noble... which was borderline nothing. (

Airen stepped out on the balcony over looking the pool of dark men, women and demons. "I have brought you all here today to present someone who has escaped hell itself to help you in your fight against Ighten." The crowd watched with interest. "I sent him to hell and now i have brought him back to be a general uner me." he added.

Seryth stepped out onto the platform with Airen. He towered above him like a great mountain. "I give you your leader Seryth." The crowd moaned and growled. They liked Seryth's strength and ruthlessness and would follow him to the end ot the earth.

As Airen scanned the crowd he saw a most unexpected person. Damien his half-brother. They made eye contact and Damien smiled at him. Airen turned and exited and Seryth followed close behind.

Luther reached out and gave his mother a tight hug. He kissed her cheek gently, and seemed reluctant to let go of her warm form.

Elena smiled at her son and replaced the book. She wouldn't have time for reading now.

"What brings you here?" she asked.

"I missed you," he said as she walked towards a table to sit down.

"I'm glad you came to see me... With your father working on the war... I rarely have any company," she said.

"Well, I will keep you pleanty company, mother," Luther said huskily. he came up behind his mother and wrapped his arms around her shoulders, his finger tips moving lightly over her skin. She didn't think anything of it, to her it was just him showing his affection. He was her child...

Seryth noticed the brief contact between his master and the young boy. "Who was that, my lord?" he asked with curiosity.

Airen sat down in his black obsidian thrown. He glanced up at Seryth. He had grown rather fond of the massive demon. "That would be my brother," he replied, and I would like for you to go find him and invite him to dinner for me."

Seryth bowed and went on his way. "Send him to my house," Airen added as Seryth went out the door.

Airen had developed the ability to teleport himself over the past couple of months and used it regularly. He burst into flames leaving only a poof of smoke.

He appeared inside his bedroom and saw a made making the bed. "Good day," he said, "have you seen my wife?"

Most of the maids no longer feared Airen and had actually warmed up to him. "She was in the library last I saw her, my lord." she said going on about her business.

"Thank you," he replied.

Luther leaned his head down against Elena's hair and smiled towards the door, as if he knew someone was coming.

He leaned his lips towards her ear and said, "You look beautiful today, mother." It was a perfectly innocent tone, but to own lookers the position in which it was said might have become quite questionable.

"Where is father?" It seemed, however, he already knew the answer.

Airen opened the door and stepped inside to see Luther standing over his mother. "Hello Luther," he said cynicaly. He and Luther put up with one another but made no attempt to have a father son relationship.

Luther's eyes glanced up and a cruel smile came to his face, one that Elena could not see. "Hello, father," he replied darkly and kissed his mother a final time on the cheek before rising.

"Long day?" he asked, moving to sit in the chair beside his mother, propping his feet up on the table. "You should really spend it more with your wife.... Before she gets lonely..."

One thing that Airen really couldn't stand about Luther was his close relationship with his mother. He was unaturally attatched to her and she didn't seem to see it. No matter, Airen pushed it aside and continued what he was saying.

We will have company tonight for dinner. "Will you be joining us?" he asked Luther.

"Hmm?" he asked his father, as if he were too good to listen. It was at times like these that Elena rose from her seat and went to grab a good book.

She didn't understand Airen's hate for their son... But, she was sure that there was a reason for both of them disliking eachother. She refused to get in between them, they would have to work it out on there own.

"I'll stay for dinner, someone has to keep my lonely mother company."

"Good," Airen said, "There's someone you need to me." Luther had never met Damien. Airen had only seen him a few times up til today but he had yet to speak to him.

Airen walked up behind Elena and put his arms around her."How've you been my darling?" He kissed her neck softly.

"Oh?" Luther said and smiled cunningly. "Should be interesting..."

Elena smiled at her husband. "Bored," she said softly and smiled up at her husband.

"Me too," he said sensually. " What do you say we do some catching up before dinner?" It had been a couple of weeks since Airen was home last and he longed for Elena's touch.
