Power: Cursed with an unknown symbol upon the back of her neck, Sera is able to create and manipulate ice. Cold to the touch, she draws upon the moisture in the air to create her ice and can easily give a person chills. An added effect of the symbol is the ability to break into a person’s thoughts affecting their will to hold back answers. This, however, only works if she is touching the skin of whom ever she’s affecting. Not to mention the heightened night vision and hearing as a legacy from her Elvin blood.

Appearance: Standing at about 5’ 8’’, she’s one to remember if you have the luck to live long enough. With cold, piercing, ice blue eyes that seem to glow in the darkness, she instills a sense of fear within her victims before death. Her chin-length feathered gray hair is sprinkled with white and always has the appearance of being recently ruffled, framing an attractive but pale face. She almost always wears her traditional black, but at times throws in a pale green. She wares a flexible leather bodice with a glove wrap that adorns her left hand and forearm and a long single glove reaching past her elbow which covers her right arm. A pair of form fitting black pants hang low on her hips and she usually wears flat bottomed boots. Sera is never seen without her two short swords tucked into the torn black silk strip wrapped around her waist, or her throwing stars, which are housed within a belt pouch craftily wrapped around her right thigh.

Weaknesses: Though she is not harmed by light physically in anyway, the sun’s rays nearly blind her leaving her seeing mostly gold during the day. Fire, when used against her, is also a soft point. However, the Cursed Mark’s backlash is most likely her weakest point. Playing upon her adept ability to mix magic and ice, the mark tempts Sera into greater, more powerful, workings of magic while feeding on the strength and energy she raises to perform such works. The higher the magic, the weaker she becomes.

Biography: Night is Sera’s domain. Born underneath the veil of night and raised in a town on the outskirts of the Kingdom of Arken, Sera has always known the cold embrace of darkness.

After loosing her mother to a Raith at a young age, her father gave up his love for family and left Sera to fend for herself. She fled with her younger siblings from those who prey upon the weak and into a forest, where she spent most of her childhood. Shakily at first, she acquired the skills of a ranger in an effort to keep her siblings alive.

But the day the curse mark appeared on her neck was the day that brought her world to a shuddering halt. No-one but Sera knows what exactly happened and she refuses to voice the truth. Some whisper that she killed her own siblings in a fit of rage over food, others speak of a Wizard of dark and evil power taking the children for unknown means. There are those, however, that whisper words of the God of Darkness and an unseen dark hand wrapped around her throat.

Personality: Possessive of a, albeit, twisted sense of humor, a sense of humor none the less. Usually, she keeps to the shadows, be she in a home or wandering the streets, and she always keeps her guard. Generally distant from any she comes upon; she prefers to be alone, but tends to be mildly nice if you meet her on…friendlier terms. When spoken to, she either ignores the speaker or answers in short and to-the-point sentences, unless you manage to catch her intrigue. Then and only then will she indulge in a --sometimes not so-- civil conversation. She owns a fairly hot tongue, but rarely uses it unless the circumstances present themselves necessary and is not above torture or simply ripping out a throat.

Extras: Not much really to speak of. Those able to tell of little extra tidbits about Sera appear to all be within a grave. Secrets make the world go round.
