Amane took out the man who had been trailing her for a 'rematch' but not before she had been wounded. She had a few bleeding wounds and no time to treat them. She wandered the street of Kenkakugumi until she slumped near a building near the main road. She had found some cloth and was treating herself with them. She laid back once she was done and stared at the road through her 'black' eyes. She was waiting for someone but she didn't know who yet.

Hikari was running as fast as her feet would carry her in her wedding sandles. She pulled her snow white wedding kimono up to her knees. There was absolutely no way she was going to marry that horrible man her father betrothed her too. She couldn't get married, if she did then she couldn't be free!
She wanted to be free so badly! It was a burning sensation in her soul, a yearning to live free, to be someone she wasn't.

Amane heard a clacking of sandals on the ground, it woke her from her daze just in time to see a woman running around the outside of HQ. She got up and shouted.
"Wearing those will attract attention to yourself." Amane shouted to the woman.

Hikari stopped in her tracks, panting as she glanced towards the rather tired looking woman. Hikari looked behind her and then back towards the person speaking to her. "I dare not go bare-footed, I surely could not run as fast!" she said, trying to catch her breath from running. "And if I ran any slower I would be going backwards!" She laughed at herself for a moment and then glanced over her shoulder a final time, just to make sure.

Amane laughed a bit which surprised her, she hadn't laughed in a while, it sounded strange to her.
"Why do you do that? Is some one after you for running away from the red light district or something?" Amane began to limp down the road, "Such a fine garment for a woman running away from one of those places though. Who are you?" Amane reached out to touch the kimono.

Hikari watched the woman with a peculuar expression on her face. She didn't understand why this woman would think she was from the red light district! How utterly horrible! "I am Ayama, Hikari, daughter of the Lord Ayama."
"Might I enquire who you are?" she asked politely. Still not explaining who she was running from.

"My name is Amane at least that is what I'm told." Amane told her.
"I've never heard of your father but that doesn't matter. You still haven't answered MY question."

Hikari sighed and clasped her hands together in front of her. "I am running away from my wedding," she told the woman. "My father betrothed me to the gastly man... I can't marry him. I don't want to get married, and I refuse to."

Amane suddenly slapped the woman without knowing quite why.
"I see now, you're a spoiled child who can't have her way so your running." Amane's eyes were darkened and obviously lost in memories. "People like you are an eye sore."

Hikari stared in shock at the woman. She held her tongue though, not out of fear, just because she didn't know what else to say. Just because she didn't want to get married to that man didn't mean that she was a spoiled brat.
"Excuse me, I have to be going...." Hikari said coldly and began to walk away.

Amane 'woke' from her daze, began to watch her walk away then said, "I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me, I sometimes do that without knowing why. I'm not asking you to forgive me but please disregard that. If you want I can get you some thing to apologize. If you insist on walking away then I won't stop you."
Amane studied Hikari's back while she walked away.

Hikari stopped for a moment. "I don't need anything, thank you," she said and looked back. "I just need to get away from that man... Unless you have a way I can do that before he sends out his men to find me... If I marry him, it means he can kill my father and get everything my father has. He'll destroy it all... I won't let that happen."

"I think I have something." Amane told her. "Follow me."
She limped down the road towards the denser part of town. She really knew where she was going very well.

Hikari followed the woman, moving as quickly is she could in the expensive heavy kimono, which had many layers of fabric underneath. She was used to wearing such garments, because she was after all wealthy. However, it didn't mean that she enjoyed wearing them

Amane smiled to herself a bit and lead her to the back of a brothel. She knocked on the door and a scratchy voiced old woman answered,
"Hello?" She asked.
"It's me, let me in, I have some business to discuss with you." Amane told her.
"Fine." The old woman said to her. "We'd love you to be here but I'll listen to what you have to say."
"Follow me Hikari." Amane told her as she walked in the back door.
