Heirot

The story line is about a girl who is being persued by a man who is after something very precious. This very precious thing is a 'key' of sorts. The key is hidden in Ruriko's, who is the main character, body and the only way to get it out is for the gaurdian to give the key to them or for the key to be forcably removed like surgery or ripped out.

The girl has a hand maid that accompanies her everywhere she goes, her name is Otome. The only one who knows how to fight is otome since Ruriko is a rich girl who has never done anything on her own or been alone.

That's all I have so far I have a few ideas like almost killing the handmaiden and the key being stolen. I have no idea what the key is for but I'm thinking that the key is keeping something or some one locked away because it has terrible or at least enormous powers..

Help please any help more than welcomed.

Lol, maybe the key could be to unlock some great evil bad guy/girl that becomes their arch enemy and they have to stop him from doing something terrible:P To stop him they have to get the key back and seal him up.

That sounds good. What will he/she look like though? Angel? Devil? Human?

Maybe when there is like emotional trauma done to the gaurdian she can channel her emotions into attacks, the stronger the emotion the stronger the attack.

But the attack puts a lot of stress on the body of the gaurdian and the same principal for sealing?

Lol, I have always loved shapeshifters... their tricky, and they make for good drama. The bad guy/girl could easily trick people so it will make it hard for the heroes to win. Who wants heroes to win easily anyway... Speaking of which I need to figure out how my characters are going to win/lose:P If they win I need to make it really difficult...

ha ha. I usually decide if my characters are gona win or lose before I start so I can make personalities and stuff according to the ending. It's kinda weird I know but it's not for me.

In this case though I have no complete ideas...

Yea, I know who is going to win in my story... I just can't think of how I'm going to get it there from where I am. I knew what things need to fall in place, but I can't think of how to write them.

Yeah, shapeshifters are awesome. But you have to decide what he/she looks like. Hmm.. It should be a guy, and he should be really hot. And he has to be very persuassive. You know what I mean. Get your readers to have trouble deciding who to root for. The good or bad guy. He would need to have wings, though. Wings are always sexy. ^^'

As for what the key is for, I like what Emora said.

Like... The bad guy is evil and everything, but he has reasons for his evilness.

For example... If you ever watched Troy, the city of Troy attacked the Greeks. Hector, the leader of the Trojan army, attacked and killed Achilles' cousin because he thought that he was Achilles. Now, Achilles wanted to avenge his cousin, but his death was accidental. So, you see, you're having trouble deciding who is bad and who is good.

Soka! Like if the bad guy is seeking the power to supposedly do some good when he's really trying to do something bad for his own benefit? I gotcha. ^_^ Thanks.
