*Soran indiscriminately chomps onto Mizuki, calling on the transitive property of medal-chomping*

Nice artwork, Bejei! Great details!

My only critique is that all of your character's are twisted at painful angles, especially the lst one, because you appear to be trying to keep the torso front and center to limit the amount of persepctive change and foreshortening you need to do. Try to work on that, but other than that the detail and shading is quite well done and the bodies are generally well proportioned. Also spend some time working on the hands, as (jack's right hand especially) some of the physiology is skewed slightly, but hands are always the biggest trouble point for artists.

I'm not trying to be argumentative, but since silence is consent I just want to put in that I don't get the impression that all the torsos are painfully twisted to be "front-and-centered". Actually, poses are really difficult to come up with and I especially like Jack's. I see foreshortening going on with the abs and Jack's left arm, and the only drawing where I see a possible difference in alignment between the torso and the legs/shoulders is the 'Bejei and Locket' Drawing. The detail you've put into the hands suits me quite well, and if Ckar's are slightly pointy, perhaps that's because he's a demon.

If I were to bring a criticism to these drawings, it would be my personal preferance toward lean body types as opposed to muscular ones, but that has little bearing on your actual skill as an artist, and it gives you the advantage of being familiar with where are the muscles go so that you could minimize or exaggerate the definition as needed to draw different body types, whereas I, who rarely draw muscles, generally need to consult an anatomy book or run daring searches on google to figure out where the muscles are even meant to go : P There's my 3 cents!

True, the only one where the pose is strained and slightly painful looking is the locket one, I really should have clarified which drawings I was talking about, and that is my mistake. Bejei, since it is essentially a bust is good with that post, Ckar appears to be trying to be intimidating in an evil arrogant way, and his pose with the flexing clawed hand fits it well, and that wasn't the hand I was talking about, I was talking about Jack's right hand. Jack's fist is quite well done, the foreshortening is quite good, perhaps I was being overanalytical of the torso thing, its just a phase I went through not too long ago and I see it a lot in beginning artists, so I guess I was expecting to see it, invalid preconception on my part, further encouraged because I have tried to ensure that none of my drawings have such a pose, in an effort to get me to experiment with more action poses. The right hand however, mainly just how the pinky seems to be slightly further off the wrist than it should be. The outside edge of the pinky, when the hand is in that position, should be straight in line with the outside edge of the forearm, pushing the thumb and index finger slightly inwards such that the index finger runs parallel to the arm but slightly adjacent to it, and the thumb is generally pointing off to an angle. One should also note that the fingers generally curl.

Or, I could be wrong, given the large musculature and my inexperience with drawing such, as I draw leaner bodies as that is what I have the easiest reference from, being very thin with non-prominent musculature. It’s the same reason why most of my characters have long hair, partly because I have long hair and I prefer long hair, but also because if I need a reference for long hair all I need to do is walk to our bathroom and look in the mirror.

I probably should offer a tip with all the criticism shouldn’t I? Well, the difficulty of poses was mentioned, so, when drawing poses, especially action poses, try and keep the lines balanced. There should be a central line (generally curved) that runs from the top of the skull, down through the spine to roughly the point directly between the base of the feet. There are more such lines, however I don't have a good representation to give, but I am working on creating a wire frame portfolio of proportions and flexibility angles for the body.

Thanks for the feed back, Vishaing. I appreciate it. I'll work on what you told me to. Also thanks everyone for their comments.
