"Stop!" the girl screamed.
"Knock it off," Soran said coldly from where he'd just emerged at the base of the stairs with Rai.
His voice silenced all involved, who looked at him warily.
"Heh! You expect us to fear you when you're on babysitting duty?" one of the Crows sneered, rousing cheers from one of his colleagues and a nervous stare from the other two.
"Oh?" Soran's eyes took on a dangerous glint. "Raichu, I choose you!", he screamed, and Rai ran menacingly toward the gangsters.
"Holy crud, the kid's scarier than he is!" screamed the leader, dropping his knife into his boot.
"Run for your lives!!"
Soran and the barkeep stared blankly as the gangsters fled the bar.
"....Riiiiight...."

My version of it.

Rai fell limply on the ground and everyone looked down and stared at her.

"I think we'll leave now," Soran said, picking up Rai and backing out.

lol...
Soran holds Rai up so she doesn't fall in the water. But, he happens to look over and see Mizuki and stares. The water seems to have made her white slip... see through....
Soran's hands slip and Rai drops into the water, her hands flailing and trying to keep her head above water. But, unfortunately Soran didn't teach her to swim fast enough. He just stares at Mizuki with a few bubbles coming up beside him.
