Not bad, considering I, you know, can't see my own back, much less my back when I'm wearing my Overcoat.
No, my hair isn't really that long, not yet at least, if I hadn't gotten the foot I had amassed at the age of fourteen cut off it would be, and yes I am indeed a guy with long hair.
I realize its large, and thus, here is a smaller version that has intentionally been modified to appear out of focus, as I like the look.
Granted again this probably isn't a very good representation of me, it's the best anyone will ever find, considering since the age of seven I have destroyed any Camera foolish enough to even THINK about taking my picture.
Also, I do indeed have a sword, acutally I have about twelve, and I even know how to use them, so watch out Meagen, you now have TWO, count em, TWO psychotic people with swords out on the forum.

I like it! Have you seen Get Backers? There's a character on that show that reminds me of this drawing, though they don't necessarily look the same. Just the same feel. I especially like his coat ^_^
you're not the first to think i was a girl, don't worry, like I said, when I was in hihg school I had a foot to a foot and a half of hair. THe hilarity begins because one guy saw me from behind and thought I was a girl, again, long coat=people can't see what you look like, and actually came up and started flirting with me, it was hilarious, because most if not all of the guys in my school were EXTREMELY Homophobic. I don't think he ever lived that down, plus I was already well known as a freaky smart kid who almost everyone hated, because I ddin't give a crap about my reputation, so that didn't help his 'rep' at all. Ah, those were the good old days, people trying to insult me and me mocking them with words they didn't even know existed.
Funny story, someone actually tried to insult me, called me Gay, I said, "I know, but one thing you don't is that the word 'Gay' just means 'happy', now, if you weren't an imbecile, you would know that." The greatest part, later on he went to someone who was sort of one of my friends, and said something along the lines of "I hate that kid, and what the hell does 'imbecile' mean?"
It's really neat. I didn't think it was a girl. I mean, it's not every day you see a girl wearing a coat like that. I think it's cool. And the long hair just goes with it. It wouldn't look right if the hair was short.
Don't worry, I don't hate you, yet, and even if I did, I am notoriously LAZY, so don't worry.
Also, Soran, no, never heard of Get Beckers, the only show I know of where I have seen a character slightly familiar to what I drew is the Cyclops, ala Trigun.

sucks to be you then now don't it? bECAUSE i HAVE NEVER, NOR WILL i EVER SHOW MY FACE ON ANY SORT OF EVEN REMOTELY PUBLIC MEDIUM OF INFORMATION, BE THAT NEWS, and apparently my Caps Lock got turned on at the second sentence, any interview I am ever on, I will wear a mask, trust me, I will, or any other thing, my FRIENDS have never even gotten a picture of me, except one, and that was largely because I let her take my picture because she had turned getting a picture of me into a three your quest, not joking. I was almost worried I had a stalker, then I decided I didn't care because I knew I could kick the crap out of her if she ever tried anything 'funny' no offense to her or anything, I'm just a lot stronger than I look, have enough skill and experience to get me a few black belts, and stuff like that, and she, doesn't, unless of course there's something she isn't telling me about, which I could see, we did have this big 'web of lies' thing going on senior year, and I think she's just too nice to ever hurt anyone, where as I have no qualms about hurting anyone who wants to fight me, which is partly the reason I haven't been in a fight in over four years.

I havn't seen Hellsing, but I did see Trigun. And his portrait reminds me alot, if not exactly, of the chick with the closed eye who opens it to slow a person down. Can't think of her name but chyeah.
The Cyclops is the chick from Trigun who has the closed eye and slows down stuff when she opens it.

This next drawing is likely the single best piece of art I have EVER turned out in my entire lifetime. Yay for me.

You won't, I can almost guarantee it, as this is a modernized and less serpentine variation upon a infamous mythological creature which terrorized much of what was at that point considered to be the civilized world, at least there. This is my take, and if I ever actually get around to it, this will be one of the characters in a Webcomic I am planning on making that,given her reaction to the lack of blood and gore of 'All Grown Up' and her praise of the blood and gore of 'Scars' Meagan should likely find this comic enjoyable, especially since it centers around vampirism, but a diferrent and oft times ignored part of vampirism. WHereas most comics and stories of vampirism seem to deal almost exclusively with young and weak vampires dealing with the manipulation of the elders. THis comic deals with a young but not weak in the slightest vampiress by the name of Sarah, at least, that is her current name, her real name is Scerelia, but only six people on the planet know that, and she is't one of them.
For htose who have played White Wolf's 'Vampire, the Masquerade' This comic uses that set of mythos, and also draws heavily on the biblical story of Cain and Abel, which, if she would not mind, I would be pleased and honored if Emora would help me out with, as I am currently only in possession of a wimpy skimpy doesn't-cover-any-of-the-good-stuff Bible, and I would like to make the story as accurate as possible.
This character herself, is NOT Sarah, if I ever post a picture of Sarah, you will know it, but that is highly unlikely. Also, I am currently putting all of my time spent working on the comic into drawing up the various skeletal and musculature diagrams of Sarah, for she has been heavily 'alterred' to make her the ultimate killing machine. Eventually I MIGHT post the full list of 'alterations' that she has experienced, its rediculous how much she has been alterred, she no longer looks human, though she is still humanoid.
That is another difference between this vampire comic and most others, it seems to me, that most other vampire comics center around the oh so cliche 'pretty boy vampire falls in love with a human woman and turns her' no such luck with this, there are many times where it hints at the possibility of a romance plot, only to have the concerned parties quickly debunk all possible rumors. THere is no romance in this comic, just like there are no romances in any of my books, because htey are not necessary nor are they practical considering all of my books are set during periods of war so vicious it makes World War 2 look like a backyard scuffle between two little kids, and racial hostility that makes the Holocaust look like little more than a little bit of pain and racism.

Oh, the wings and the cloth beneath her on the ground are literally shadows that she has pulled off of the walls and floor and now animates to do her bidding.
Soon, as in, around five minutes probably, I will upload another picture, a picture of who will likely become my favorite character from the entire book, Hilaria. She whose name means 'the luaghing death' look closely, the name is made of the words Hilarious, and Malaria. Nice huh??? SHE"S NUTS!!! Seriously, she will be the source of one third of hte comic relief, and 9/10 of the blood and gore.
never mind, I just realized the drawing isn't finished yet, I almost forgot her feet and an insignificant but REALLY COOL part of her dress.
I love the arch of her wings - they give her a sort of creepy, powerful look. How did you get that nice yellow hue? It looks like a piece of old parchment.

I got the hue by alternating brightening and shadowing the picture and then messing with the color levels and then I did some other stuff, and I can't think of exactly what I did but yeay.
Oh, and yes, she is powerful, and she is a vampire, a VERY OLD vampire.
Okay, background, according to White Wolf, after Cain became a Vampire, he wandered around for a few dozen millenias in a sort of dzze, he then met Lilith, who I also have a picture of which if I can find it I will scan it. They went out with each other for a few decades, they were both immortal and stuff, Lilith taught Cain how to use his vampirism to gain unimaginable power and other nifty stuff. Then they broke up, but vowed to return to each other when God started his who 'BURN THE WORLD!!!!' thing, more commonly known, as the Apocalypso, or Judgement day, or something else.
Lilith was supposedly very pro-notspreadingtheircurse.
Cain founded a city, the first city, and became that cities god-king, since he had all this nifty power stuff, and the humans didn't. Now, no one really knows what happened, but it is said that Cain took his htree most cherished companions from this city and made them into Vampires, and these became the Second Generation of Vampires, their blood once diluted and thus their power roughly half that of Cain's. As such they each focussed on one area of power, the first childe mastered the mind and how to manipulate the very magickal essence of God himself, the second mastered the body and how to gain God's unimaginable physical power, and the third mastered the darkness and how to weave the very world to thier bidding.
Supposedly Lilith was NOT pleased.
These three then begot thirteen vampires themselves, in total, not each, and these thirteen became the Antideluviens. These Antideluviens had had their blood so far diluted, down to a quarter, that they each chose a respective area and focused purely on that, these vampires became the progenitors of the thirteen Vampire clans that exist today.

Eventually, infighting and scheming for power forced Cain to destroy the first city, supposedly in floods, those are common aren't they? It is said that the entire second generation was killed and most of the third generation, the antideluviens were killed. Then Cain told the survivors, that one day he would return, and begin the Vampiric Apocalypse, during which he would consume the power and very soul of all the vampires he judged unworthy of their power. This Apocalypse would be called 'Gehenna' and would be signalled by 1: The return of the eldermost Vampires, especially Cain, the diluting of the Vampiric blood to the point that the newly begotten vampires were little more than humans with fangs, and a bunch of other nasty stuff that I can't remember right now, but it was nasty.
Okay, this chick I drew, she is the third childe of Cain. Again though, she is also responsible for one of the more terrifying legends of the ancient world, can nayone guess who she is?
As for the other two, they are all well alive and kicking, in fact, the vampire who takes in Sarah after her sire is killed by Heleria, is the first childe of Cain, though only him, the two other childer of Cain, Heleria, who is his biological daughter and vampiric granddaughter, one of this chick's favorites, William of Limerick, and a few others actually know this. Essentially, the comic's plot consists of Gehenna, and Sarah's attempts to stop it, and a really cool and huge conspiracy which will all be revealed at the end.
now, MY modifications to this story, consist of:
The first city, almost everyone knows of it, it was called Atlantis.
The dirrect Childer of Cain, generation 2, did not die, they are all alive and have been manipulating pretty much all of human history, a little side bit of info is the fact that the last twenty nine and the first seven popes were all appointed by the First childe of Cain, he started the Papacy, groomed it, financed it, early on, and now controls it, though he has removed all ties now that Sarah has 'come of age'
THe Childer of Cain, in Order:
Imhotep, as in the Egyptian High Priest who designed the Pyramids,
Daedalus, as in the Philosopher dude who fathered Icarus,
Medusa, as in the serpent queen who turned people to stone.
Lilith was never against Cain's propogation of Vampirism
THe Requirements for Gehenna:
Diluted Blood,
Returning Elders,
and the childe of my love becoming one with ALL of the clans.
I have even figured out a real way of giving Medusa the ability to turn people to stone. Essentially, she has complete and total control over her form, she can change shape more easily than we change clothes, so when she looks someone in the eyes, she cycles a nearly infinite range of colors and patterns through her eyes that hypnotize the victom's mind into an infinite regression loop. THis forces an extremely tense Rigor Mortis upon them so they lock up, as if they were a statue. SHe then turns their skin to bone using her Tzimisce Bonecrafting ability, she is the Tzimisce sire after all, to give them that stoney look and feel. BANG, instant statue.
It would be merciful of you if you could remove your extra-large version of the first drawing you posted, so that this thread would be readable without horizontal scrolling.
