Emora:

She had only left Hepian a few hours ago, saying good by to her friends and to the man who had taken her into the carnival in the first place. He had understood that when she reached this far she wanted to do some traveling...

The Ashgrown Forest was very dark tonight... the trees over head were thick and the limbs hung low in some places. In her right hand was a white wood staff. She wore a light blue dancer's suit. All she had really until she made it to her home where her parents wouldn't exactly welcome her... but they wouldn't turn her away either.

Sounds began to come from almost all around. They didn't bother her, when traveling with a carnival you here many sounds. It was when she had a feeling she was being followed that she began to think that something was really not all right.

She thought she heard panting... something or some one breathing hard... Then, something out of the corner of her eye rushed at her and she swung the staff around, spinning in a graceful move and knocking a demon so hard on the head it spun and snapped. His red eyes glowed brilliantly and when he fell over four more took his place...

Yeth:

Teiron ran switfly through the woods, his dark form barely noticeable in the darkness of the forest. He had caught a scent of J'ra, maybe it would be more of a challenge than the merchants he had been preying upon.

After the little fiasco in the capital city he had moved to the Ashgrown Forest. The forest was a perfect place, large hunting are, for wildlife and other more sentient quarry. The forest had provided everything he needed.

Running on all fours he came near the combat, he could hear the sounds of the struggle. Slowing down he stalked through the undergrowth nearing the the battle. There was his J'ra prey and few demons, one of the five was allready downed.

Growling a bit at the situation he slinked even nearer. He hated demons, but he didn't exactly love the J'ra either. It wouldn've been easier had they been encountered apart. Even five demons would be easy. He could either wait and see, or dive right in.

It wouldn't really matter. The J'ra would probably help him take out the demons and after that... she shouldn't be too hard to dispose of.

Muscles tensing he prepared for his pounce.Clawing at the ground with his hands he lunged at the nearest demon. Landing on top of it, he clawed at the demons back exposing the spine. Biting the spine he jerked his head up and ript it off. The kill had taken only few seconds and only now did the demons even turn to face him, which left them open to the J'ras attacks.

(OOC: Teiron is currently in his werewolf form, for more info read his about his appreance in the People Of Heirot)

Emora:

For a moment Mia had thought another had attacked... but this wasn't like the other demons. She knew what it was and would care not to have it any where near her.

It ripped one demon to part while the forest seemed to thunder on one side and the trees bent apart. Towering over, not quite over the trees, just enough to stay hidden was something she had never seen. It had to be a demon... but she had never seen one quite so big...

It was large with horns coming out in spikes all around it's head and had no nose. He had a place where it looked like a nose had been, but was sliced off, in the place was a hoop ring. His teeth hung out of his mouth in sharp jagged lengths.

Mia backed up, forgetting about the demons, but as one went to attack her she pulled on her staff and a sword came from the inside. She through the other half to the ground and sliced the demon in half, going all the way through and cutting into another one. One more came, what the large one was doing she didn't know. It went to slice her in the back. She coolly and gracefully put the sword to her back, as if she had sensed it at the very moment he went to do so. Then she spun around, pushing his sword away and lopped off his head.

A large roar, large enough to hurt your ears came from her side and in a sift movement the large being moved forward, obviously not liking the fact that she had one demon to go before making him friendless. He picked her up, her arms pushing at his large hand that covered her waist. It squeezed hard and she cried out, trying to get away. But, she couldn't. It then seemed to notice the werewolf for the first time and with... what seemed to be a smile, slung her away, causing her to hit a tree with a good amount of force, enough to make her unconscious. She fell the ground on her stomach.

The demon slowly began to step towards the were wolf in a challenge...

Yeth:

Growling a bit Teiron moved towards the demon. "My hunting grounds, my prey..."

Stealing a glance at the fallen for of J'ra he could see that the girl was out cold. She had taken quite of an hit when she collided with the tree. And now he had the big and one of the smaller demons to take care of.

Jumping the smaller demon he managed to suprise it. With swipes he finished the demon which was going to for the downed girl.

The large demon hadn't been just sitting there waiting for him. Teiron managed to twist enough to rip a shallow gash on the demons side when it tackled him. The demons tackle had driven the wind our of his lungs and when the it drew back Teiron slumped down to ground leaning a bit against the tree they had it. Gasping slightly for breath he rolled on his feet.

Again the demon came at him, this time with a blow to his head. With a fluid moved he ducked under the swipe and lunged at the demons throat. The demon stumbled backwards trying to fend off the werewolf. It managed a a short roar before Teirons jaws closed around its throat. Finally the demon managed to fling the werewolf off. Teiron twisted in midair and landed on all fours few meters away. He could see that the big demon was finished, it stumbled around trying to stop the blood gushing from it's throat. Finally it fell down to the forest floor with a heavy thump.

Taking a good survey Teiron couldn't notice any immediate threats, even the J'ra girl was still out cold. He could finish her now, there wouldn't be any fear of retaliation.

No, he might aswell leave her alone. It might bring a bit of variety to his life to track her...

Emora:

Mia woke a few minutes later with a pain in her head and an even greater one in both her sides where the demons large hand had wrapped itself around her small frame, trying to squeeze the life from her.

She rubbed her head as she pushed herself off the ground with one hand, her once clean dancers out fit now torn and dirty. She had a twig in her hair, but it fell out as she stood. The bodies of the smaller demons and then the hulking one were laying on the ground and she couldn't figure how they had gotten there unless... the werewolf had done it... but why would it kill them and just run away?

Well, she silently said a thank you to who ever was watching over her on this night and she walked forward, one hand on her left side, the side that hurt the most, it had gotten squished and smacked against the tree. It hurt to breath, but she could manage... if there was no more trouble, to make it to a place and safe for the night... She hoped.

But as if the night couldn't get worst, thunder rumbled in the distance and light flashed to the side. The wind began to blow harder and hard and Mia found that she was beginning to miss the carnival. She grabbed up the two peaces of her staff and put them together, using them as something to hold her up while the dizziness in her head cleared.

She began to walk... not knowing really in which direction to go. She was still a little bit off from the hit to her head and the pain in her side wasn't helping a bit. It wasn't raining... but the wind and thunder and lightening was doing a fine job. Light would fill the forest and she could see... but she was beginning to wonder if she was seeing things. When light filled at one point and she was looking to the side she thought she saw something... looking at her. "I think I hit my head to hard..." she whispered and continued on...

Yeth:

Teiron had been following the girls for few hours. She didn't seem to have any definate way and the way she kept stumbling suggested that she was hurt very badly in the fight.

Suddenly his ears perked up, he heard something. quickly doing some calculations on the direction they had moved and the time he came to the conclusion that they were near some of the obscure town in Ashgrown Forest. He had been too immersed in his own thoughts to notice it!

Now it was allready too late to do anything than wait and see. Some of the town occupants had noticed the girl and were watching her...

Emora:

Mia leaned against a tree for a moment, trying to get a good breath, but it hurt to breath and and she ran her hand over the thin fabric where her side was and could feel a not, but even to her light fingers it hurt to graze over it.

She looked to the side; her dizziness had caused her to not notice the small town until now. She seemed to be in the back of the town and a few people had noticed her. She didn't know these people... and she didn't know how they acted, but any one brave enough to live in the middle of the Ashgrown Forest had to be tuff...

There were only four people. Three were male and one was female. She looked to be a whore from a whorehouse... from the way she was dressed. She was talking to the men... but not like a whore would. Like she was discussing business. Mia began to walk towards them, not caring who they were... the pain in her side was to great to ignore long enough to find another person. As she made her way towards them the three men turned and looked at her. She didn't care...

"Please..." she said with the breath she had been holding, so she wouldn't have to breathe and cause herself pain. She took in a breath, stumbling as a feeling ran through both her sides, like being stabbed by a thousand thick nails. "Help..."

The three came forward, the woman turning and walking back into a house of some sort... The three men walked forward and for a moment they seemed to have faces of deep concern. They looked around, noticing every one had gone in because of the storm. "Well, what’s wrong, pretty..." When he got close enough her put a hand on her shoulder. Something told Mia that this situation was right...

"She looks hurt Fred..." one said and when she looked at him it might have been the fog in her head but she could have sworn her wanted to smile. She wasn't realizing that they were surrounding her...

"What's a thing like you wondering the forest alone for?" one said from behind her and her hand tightened on her staff.

"Looks like a treat Fred..." Then a pain so bad ran through her side that she almost blacked out.

Yeth:

He could see quite clearly what going to happen. The way they encircled her and what they said. He could just walk away, but she hadn't done anything to deserve that fate.

Speeding he started to run towards the nearest of the men. He tackled the man to the ground, then swung around and slashed at anothers chest. The third he threw against a buildings wall cracking his skull. Turning back at the first man, who at this point was begging for mercy, he grinned ferociously baring his fangs. With a quick snap he crushed the mans skull between his jaws.

He jumped on top of the second man, who by no had falen to ground from blood loss and schock. Teiron snapped his neck.

Teiron slowly stood up, rightening himself to his full length and turned to face the J'ra.

Emora:

Mia was lying on the ground, haven fallen when the pain had become too great. She was utterly terrified when the wolf turned to her and it could be seen written across her now dull gold skin, dull would be the pale form of a J'ra gold if they were frightened or dead.

Though he had saved her, for what purpose had he done it and why was he following her. "Please..." she said, scooting backwards on the ground with one hand, while the other held her side. "Don't bite me..." She didn't want to be a werewolf... She looked up at him through her strangely colored eyes, one pink, and one light blue.

Yeth:

His golden eyes stared at the J'ra eyes. Slowly making his way towards her he continued staring at her peculiar eyes. Slowly she started shaking more and more. She thinks I will bite her. Suddenly she grabbed her staff with both hands and whacked him across his head. Teiron yelped and stumbled back few metres... The girl attacked him even when he had saved her! Loking her more closely he saw that she held the staff in a deathgrip, her knuckles allmost white. Her skin was very pale hue of golden... as if she was dying, her white hair tangled, her eyes were very wide and her breath came in short gasps.

Maybe she was hurt worse in the battle than I originally thought. She looks as if she could die on her own.

Snarling a bit Teiron slid away to the forest. Maybe he'd wait a bit and see if she would recover. It would be a challence to hunt a J'ra, one that wasn't wounded that is. But if he were to keep an eye on her in the village he would need some clothes. And one place to get clothes would be from a traveling merchants.

Emora:

He was gone and with that relief she sighed and fell back gently, lying on the ground and closing her eyes. I have to get up...

Mia rolled slowly to her side, clenching her teeth to keep from crying out in pain. She pushed herself to her knees and used the staff to help herself stand. The exertion caused her to breath in quickly and it came out again in a cough, which she covered her mouth with her hand. When she looked at her hand it was dotted by blood.

She wondered if there was any healers in this town. She needed one terribly. She made her way through the town, getting stares from people, maybe because of her race... or maybe because of her clothes.... or maybe because she looked as if she were dying or was going to be sick... She walked the street, people entered there house quick because of the storm that was steadily coming there way. She looked to an inn where she thought she could stay and was going towards it when she realized she had no money. Her shoulders slumped slightly...

Why did I have to go home?

Yeth:

Trudging through the streets of the small town. Darkness had fallen over the town now that the storm had passes. It hadn't taken him long time to find a traveling merchant, one of ironically enough, going for this town. He had looted his possessions and found quite a bit of money and few fitting clothes. He wore dark blue, allmost black, shirt and brown leather pants. He was barefooted as there were no shoes which could fit, it didn't bother him, he just hoped it wouldn't raise any suspicions.

First he had gone to the place of the fight, he couldn't find the girl anywhere, even if the bodies of the men were still there, maybe the thunder had covered the sounds of the fight. What he could find were shallow tracks leading towards the only inn of the town.

However some distance before the door the tracks turned and went towards the barn. Could it be possible that she didn't have any money with her?
The barns door were left slightly ajar. Stepping silently inside he could hear shallow labored breathing coming from the hayloft. Moving slowly to the ladders leading up he could hear the breathing easier. He peeked over the edge. The girl was lying on her side shivering a bit. Climbing over and next to her he touched her head. She was burning even when it was this cold.

Thinking a bit he decided he might as well help her. Other wise it would take her long to resume the journey and thus delay the hunt. He reached to pick up her lithe form, but when he touched her shoulder her eyes snapped open and focused on him...

Emora:

Mia looked at him first through tired eyes and then as her wits came about her and she became more awake she slowly, not giving any hint as to what she was doing, reached a hand behind her and grabbed her staff to hit him if he thought to harm her.

Won’t this night ever end? She stood quickly and backed up towards the barn wall. She held the staff with both hands. "What do you want? I have no money..."

If she were half as healthy as she used to be she wouldn't even be asking him questions, but nocking him off the hay loft. "Leave me alone sir... and I won’t kill you." She took a shallow breath, but hid the look of pain from her face, but not her eyes.

Yeth:

Scrutinizing her for few seconds Teiron made his finals decision.

"Don't worry, I can see that you are in pain and I just want to help you."
Pointing at the door he spoke with again:
"I have more than enough of money and I can help you get a room and someone to look at your injuries"

Noticing that she still looked a bit sceptical he continued. "You could call it a good deed of the month. I don't anyone to die here. I'll wait for you at the bottom if you decide to come."

Turning his back he climbed down and waited for her decision.

Emora:

Mia thought for a moment as the man stepped down the ladder. She sighed and walked to the edge, looking down. "Watch your head..." she said quietly and let her staff fall from the air, missing his head by inches. She turned and began stepping down the ladder slowly every other step seemed painful. Finally she made it to the bottom and knelt to lift her staff.

She moved her white hair from her face and looked at him through her strangely colored eyes. "If you try anything I will break your head open." She gave him a stair that meant she meant business and wasn't playing about it. "I know nothing of this town... where do you go to get help for injuries. If you know how to fix it... then there is no need for you to waste your money on me."

She shifted to where she leaned on one side with her staff and waited for him to lead the way. If he had wanted to try anything he wouldn't have gone this far with out making it known unless he was a very clever person... and he seemed to be. She would have to watch him closely. She looked down... noticing his feet were bare. She thought for a moment, then move the thought a side. "Well...?"

Yeth:

Turning his back to her he smirked a bit You could try. Stepping outside he sniffed the air, no one was outside, even when the storm had passed. Turning his head a bit he said:

"I'll take you to the inn, there I can take a look at your wounds."

After walking few steps he noticed that she allready lagged behind a bit. Sighin a bit to himself he turned around and went to her. He tried to help her, but she stopped him...

Emora:

She winced when he tried to help her... She had moved to quickly. With a sigh she closed her eyes and thought for a moment. He was only trying to help... She nodded, still with her eyes closed and allowed him to help her to the inn. She opened her eyes once they were on there way, noticing how much tall her and larger he was and for a moment she regretted the idea. He looked as him he could crush her. He was at least seven feet tall, making her feel very small so close to him.

A cool breeze blew and she shivered slightly. Her dancers out fit rippled with the breeze and her hair flowed around her, though it needed a brush badly it didn't take away the fact that she was very pretty.

Yeth:

When they managed to get inside the inn he went straight to the owner. The owner was a old bald man with a bit of gut.

"I need two rooms, some bandages, hot water and a dinner brought there." He said fastly and threw few gold coins to him. "Fast."

The barkeeper looked at him and the J'ra girl for few seconds. With a knowing look he gave them two keys and directions to the rooms.

When they shuffled through the room he took a look at the inn. They were in the first floor, dining hall took most of the space there. Even at this late late hour there were few other travellers who had stumbled upon the village. Before they reached the stairway a couple of thugs stopped them.

"Now now, what a beauty we have here. I'm sure you won't mind sharing her with us." More like of an command than a question.
The second one intoned "I'm sure he won't, and if he did something bad might happen." Giving a smile that shoved few yellow teeth he reached for the girl.

What is it with these people, this is already the second time.

Snarling he showed his own sharp teeth. In a low threathening voice "It wouldn't do you good to try anything."

The second criminal hesitated for a second, but the first one grabbed a hold of the girls hand. "Don't worry, we have weapons and there are two of us". The second one grinned and nodded enthusiastically. reaching under his belt he drew a short dagger. "Do you want to taste steel?"

Moving like lighting Teiron backhanded the second man hard, sending him flying few metres. Then he turned to the second one and grasped his wrist. Smiling a wolfish grin he stared at the mans scared eyes. Applying slowly pressure the thugs eyes stayed hypnotised by Teirons. With a slight twitch he broke the mans bones in his wrist and pushed him out of his way. He helped the girl up ignoring the mans moans of pain.

Emora:

Mia grew very worried when the men spoke to her and the man she was with. For a moment she was worried that he would consider the command the man had made... but he thankfully didn't. When one reached towards her she shrunk back trying to get closer to the man she was with and further from the man reaching for her. She tried to move away when the first man grabbed her and pulled her with force. She bit her tongue trying not to cry out in pain.

She was beginning to notice things about this man... but it was beginning to become a little too familiar. It could be... it was plausible...

She watched as the man she was with knocked the first one to the ground and grabbed the wrist of the second one. She had fallen to the steps floor when the first man had been knocked a ways. The man who was saving her finished up and helped her to her feet.

She had noticed his wolfish grin and it clarified what she thought... and she didn't know if she wanted to be near this man any more. "Thank you..." she said and looked at his eyes for a moment. "But, they could have killed you... and it would have been for nothing..."

Yeth:

Teiron looked at the girl, most people wouldn't really care if strangers got hurt, she was different. "I can take care of my self, just worry of yourself."
Helping her to the room he layd her to the bed. Wait here for a while. I will go look at my room and see what is taking with the bandages. He turned around and stalked out of room.

Emora:

Mia laid on the bed, having let her staff fall to the floor close to the door. She closed her eyes wondering how she could have possible gotten out of this mess when it first began. She knew one thing. She hated this town with a passion. Every time she turned around some group of men who could just as easily go to a whorehouse was trying to... She grew quiet in her thoughts then and sighed slowly.

She sat up, putting her back to the head board and trying to look out the window to see anything, but there was nothing to see so she looked back at her clothes, noticing that her once fine dancers suit was now torn and dirty and she could use a bath. She wondered if there was any water in the bowl...

She through her legs off the bed easily and stood up, walking slowly to a bowl on a table the water wasn't exactly clean and it wasn't warm. But it would do to wipe the dirt off. She reached her hand in and she grabbed the cloth, wringing it out and dragging it across her arms and then her neck and chest. She raised her hair and wiped behind her neck...

Yeth:

Teiron stopped in the doorway, he had fetched the bandages and was coming to take care of the girls wounds. The J'ra was up and cleaning herself. Her skin had regained some of the golden color.
Clearing his throat he announced himself. When the girl whirled around he raised his hand with the bandages"I came to look at your wounds..." The strode forward with the floorboards creaking under his weight. Hesitating a bit he asked her name: "You can call me Teiron. Could you go to lay on the bed, your back seems to be hurt. Miss...?"

Emora:

Mia relaxed slightly when she saw it was one him walking in. So his name is Teiron... Mia walkied towards the bed and crawled on, lying slowly down on her side, the side that wasn't hurt. She didn't know weather he wanted her to lay one her back or her stomach... "My name is Mia..." she said as she did this and waited for him to do what he needed to do.

Yeth:

"Take off your shirt, i'll need to look at your back and side... It will probably hurt, depending ont he quality of the wounds, but I'll try to be gentle." After saying this Teiron turned his back to Mia, to give her some privacy.

OOC: I wouldn't mind if you controlled a bit of my chars actions, especially conversation wise... I have a feeling that we won't be able to chat much, or update often till the weekend, so the story will flow better... that is what I hope. I left it here because... well it can be a big decision, but the clothes were alos ready rags after the fight... don't get wrong ideas

Emora:

Mia's eyes grew very wide when it came to taking off her shirt. She thought for a moment... not fully trusting him, but understanding the reasons he needed her to do this. For one... he had been protecting her tonight. She reached a hand behind her slowly and pulled the strings that tied the back of her shirt together. She reached around and pulled the other to strings, glancing up at Teiron and trying to make sure he didn't turn around. She pulled it off her shoulders on one side and then the other and held the fabric in front like a shield, lying to where her back faced him just as he must have figured she had enough time, he was turning around.

She flushed deeply feeling very embarrassed by the situation she was in, but if he could help her... She stared at the wall a head waiting for his diagnosis and she felt cold hands touch her back and she shivered slightly, turning a golden red in the face.

((OOC: I don’t want to control what your character says… hehe… it would be wrong. It’s alright if this goes slow unless your in a hurry, then we could speed it up.))

Yeth:

Noticing her redder and redder and the obvious reason for it Teiron smiled slightly and sat on the edge of the bed..
Tracing the wounds with his fingers he considered them. "I can think I can take care of the most". Moving his hands a bit down to her waist and then slowly up, she gasped in pain "The bruises will take some time to heal, and you seem to have few broken ribs... Well have to see a better healer about them and insure that you don't have any internal bleeding." Tieron moved a bit on the bed to get closer to her head. Moving the white strands of hair away from the wound he finished his diagnosis: "The wound on your head doesn't seem to bad, it probably just knocked you unconsious and nothing more."

Rising from the bed he walked to the table where he left the hot water, soap, bandages and some healing salve he had found from his back. Walking back to her and sitting on the bed. "This is the part that might hurt... I'll first clean the wounds then apply some salve on them. After the salve has been there for few minutes you can go to bath... After that I'll apply a bit more of the salve and bandage you ribs. Not sure if it will help much, but it's better than nothing."

Emora:

Even the lightest touch of his hand when it got close to her ribs or the middle of her back made her want to cry out. But, she clenched her teeth, gasping once or twice though and her eyes watered slightly. While he walked to the table where the bandages and such were she sat up, holding the shirt firmly to her with a death grip as if it would fall if she held it any looser, but even though this was the way... it was much more relaxed since he was no longer sliding his hand up and down her body. She knew he had meant well... but still.

"When all this is through..." she said and looked to him as he sat down on the bed. "Would you tie my shirt back... it's easy to untie.. but harder to tie back."

She looked at the salve and then turned to where her legs hung off the bed and her back was completely turned to him where he could get to both her sides. Risking it she moved one hand to her hair and pulled the white silk over her shoulder to allow him to see her the back of her bed from the hips up. She sighed, waiting on what was supposed to be the painful point, as if the pain hadn't already come...

When on the release of the sigh she coughed slightly, covering her mouth and then wiping the blood spots on her pants leg, not even noticing it. She tenses greatly and bit her lip when he applied whatever medicine to her wounds. She would have gripped the bed, but that would have meant letting go of her shield in the front... so she gripped the fabric tightly.

Yeth:

He poured some water to another container and mixed in some soap. He dipped in the small brush he had found and started cleaning her back and sides. He went through all of the cuts cleaning them of dirt, few started bleeding again when the bloody crust covering them teared away. Teiron was impressed, the girl didn't cry, just bit lip gasped few times. And it was clear that she was young and as that, probably not as used to pain. After cleaning the wounds

"I'll tie the shirt after you wash yourself, that is you want to." Giving her a sideways glance he noticed her tight grip on the shirt. Doesn't she realise that If I wanted to do something to her, I could've done it many times now...

Dabbing with the try towel he dryed her back from waist up. After this he opened a small brown jar containing the salve. Scoopin a bit of it in his hands he rubbed the cool, white on the cuts and bruises on her gold skinned back. He could clearly see that her ribs and her the middle of her back were hurt worst, but all he could do now was this and hope for the best.

"You can now wash yourself, I'll go down to the bar... I'll come back in 10 or so minutes. Then we can bandage the wounds."

((OOC: I'm in no hurry, and... well it might be better this way, as you said.))

Emora:

((OOC: I woke up with a 100 something fever and they told me to stay home! Yep, feel like crud, but even if you feel like crud you can still type!))

Mia rose from her seat when he left her and she walked towards the bowl of water. She laid her shirt on the table, still feeling slightly uncomfortable, but slowly she was starting to relax. She looked around, however, before she let her shirt fall to see if any windows were open. The curtains were pulled too now. She washed herself clean quickly, very used to taking baths like this when she was traveling with the carnival. She washed her face and chest and neck... any part of her body that wasn't covered by fabric... but she couldn't make it all the way around to her back around to her back very well.

She grabbed her shirt and draped it over the front of her body and she wished that it was thicker and larger, but what could she expect from a dancers out fit. She knew that if the man, who was very much larger than her in length, strength and every other way (not meaning he is fat) wanted to do something he could and there would be no way she could stop him in her situation. He didn't seem to want to hurt her... but on that note... why was he helping her any way.

Oh, yes, she had figured it out. From the moment she saw his teeth and maybe even before then she had figured it out. He was the werewolf who had shown up at least twice. But, why in the world was he coming back in his human form to help her. She figured he would have to her apart by now... she was easy pickings... in her state.

So she sat on the bed, holding the fabric in front of her and thinking... waiting on his return...

Yeth:

Teiron opened the rooms door with his left hand. On his right hand he balanced a tray with some stew, glasses and a water can. Something for them to eat.
opening the foor he found Mia deep in thought sitting on the bed holding the shirt in front of her, obviously waiting for his return.
Striding to the table he set down the tray and walked to the bed. He sat on the edge facing her. "As I said, now I'll put some more salve to the bruises and then wrap a bandage around the worst parts of the injury..."
Looking in her twin colored eyes he waited for her answer.

Emora:

Mia looked up when he walked in and sat the tray down. She nodded when he told her again what he wanted to do. She stood and walked towards him so he wouldn't have to go that far so he could put the salve and bandages on her. The sooner that was done the sooner she could get her shirt back on. She turned around so her back faced him and waited for him to begin the process again.

When he started her mouth finally opened and said something to break the ice. "So I take it your going to kill me later..." she said and stared at the wall, not even letting a feeling register on her face. "Are you a type of werewolf who enjoys taunting there half-naked victims or dare I say it, do you actually have a heart?" She flinched slightly. Why else would he have helped her if he didn't have a heart...

Yeth:

Teiron stopped as soon as he heard the guestion. So she's a clever girl.I... again stopping he wondered what he would say and why did he do this, why was he helping her?
He started softly "I will, unless, of course, you will kill me or something else will come in the way. You never know what happens in life, and the best you can do is try to survive and enjoy it. I enjoy hunting in all it's forms and a good hunt isn't a hunt where the prey is already dead".
Again stopping to gather his thoughts. He started bandagin her torso rolling the bandage under her arms and back to her back.
"I am not taunting you, can't you see that I'm helping you...??
He stopped rolling the bandage and tied the end to one of the strands which circled her thin torso. Stepping back a bit he said "There, that should do it. Now to tie your shirt".

Emora:

"You're very strange," she muttered raising her arms slightly so he could finish his bandaging. "You are helping me... yet you plan to rip me to shreds later... seems like extra work to me..." She slipped an arm through her sleeve and then another arm, for a milli-second her front was bare. She pushed it around back for him to tie.

"Are you going to give me time for a head start?" she asked trying not to show the fact she was slightly frightened... slightly not even close.... by him now. "Don't get me wrong. I love the fact you haven't taken a snap at me yet. But..." She turned to him once he had tied her shirt. "It seems to me you’re a little confused."

She looked up into his eyes, searching for some way to get herself out of becoming his next meal.

Yeth:

"A hunt is not a good hunt, unless it is a real challenge. You seem to be a strong woman and thus you should be one of the best hunts. And as for helping, think of it as an investment" He said softly.
After fumbling a bit with the strings he managed to tie the shirt. Then he straightened abruptly and continued coldly "Believe me, I know what I want and if you wish you will get the head start you wish, hours or days, it will be your choice when the time comes."
Walking to the door he turned his head slightly to the side and said, perhaps even more coldly "I will be in my room if you'll need me, I suggest you get some sleep. Well head out first thing in the morning to find a suitable healer. We wouldn't want to keep the hunt waiting for too long, now would we."

Emora:

When he closed the door she closed her eyes, sighing very heavily, her shoulders slumping. She opened them looking at her hands which were shaking. It was all she could do a minute ago not to throw open the door and run for her life... but maybe it had been fear that kept her from running and letting him still touch her.

Maybe it had been determination not to show her fear that had made her stay. It had been something, because she was just now feeling the effects of holding her emotions in. She wanted him to think she was strong... but now she was thinking she should make him think she was weak so he would change his mind.

She looked at the food, not feeling hungry... he had caused her to lose her appetite. She walked to the bed, pulling down the covers and climbing in slowly. She laid on her side... because it hurt to lie on her back. She blew the candle out and but didn't fall a sleep the moment her head hit the pillow. Her thoughts were of how she could change his mind and the answer to her thoughts were... no way.

She sat up as quickly as she could with out crying out in pain. What was she still doing here if she had a chance to escape and get home? Her family would protect her there... She went to get up, but something she did triggered coughing and again her hand was stained with blood. She ignored it and wiped it on the fabric of her clothes. She couldn't leave... he would think she was better and then he would decide that now was the time. She wondered then what could make a man so cold that he would play with his food like the way he was playing with her? She had done nothing to him and though he thought he was not taunting her... he was. He was throwing it in her face that he had enough power to eat her and that he was just helping her to make the hunt more valuable to him. He had never been where she was and this was the first time for her to, but she was starting to feel first hand what it felt like to be captured or kidnapped.

For this is the feeling she felt...

And then she wondered what he was thinking while he laid warm and happy in his bed, with no worries as to when he would die… when he would go through the pain of being ripped to shreds alive, by a man who had saved his life thrice in one day.

Yeth:

Teiron stared at the wooden ceiling overhead. He couldn't get sleep for some reason. The evening had been normal, he had washed and went to bed, but when he usually managed to catch sleep in 5 minutes now he couldn't get sleep at all... It was probably because of that girl, Mia. She now knew what he was, but even then she dared to call him confused. Confusion amidst battle was weakness and weakness in no form should be tolerated.

He didn't hear any sounds from her room in the night, she wasn't stupid enough to try and run. She couldn't, one for her condition and two, for his hearing. The rooms were close enough so that he could hear if someone walked in the corridor. Of course there were the windows, but i was doubtful that she'd try them.

Maybe the reason for his agitation was the situation, yes that probably was it. He had never done anything like this, helping someone else with the intent of killing them. But if she was as strong as he imagined then she would be a worthy prey and that is the only thing which matters... But maybe he shouldn't kill her, if he let her away she would grow stronger, she looked qutie young, and if she would grow stronger then it would be a better hunt, and that is what mattered?
Confusion, the greatest enemy of man nibbled away his resolve and reasons. At least one thing was sure, he would get her healed and then would come the time to decide. No point to wonder of things yet, yes that is the way he would proceed. Wait and see.

After his unruly thought gained some disciple he tried to sleep, he would have to be alert tomorrow if she'd decide to flee after she was healed.
He turned to his wall to tear his gaze away from the ceiling, only land to the wall. Sighing a bit he tried to get sleep.

Emora:

Mia had been sleeping a while when she came awake, her back feeling as if some one had lit a fire right under it. She stared at the curtain-closed window; no sign of sunlight had come. How long would this night last? Arghh.... is it supposed to burn like this? I know what he did.... he made it hurt... He gave me something to cause pain... Well, if he didn't... I can't take it any more!! She through her legs gently over the side of the bed and walked to the door slowly.

She paused at the door wondering if he would come bounding out of the room on her, thinking she was trying to escape. She really didn't feel like getting tackled again tonight... so she turned with a painful sigh and walked back to her bed.

Out side a woman, from the house down the street, with her skimpy clothes and her feathers in her hair walked towards a door that she saw a tall dark man enter through. He looked lonesome... she guessed that who ever was in the other room didn't please him very well... Lonesome men paid good money.

She walked towards the door and knocked once then opened it up, some one forgot to lock it... She smiled and entered the room closing the door behind her. "Can I keep you company, love?" she asked and swayed her way towards Teiron as he laid on the bed.

If I was as strong as I was a few hours ago I would ring his neck! Mia thought while she laid in bed, knowing nothing of what was going on in the room.

Yeth:

Teiron rolled to the cold floor and dropped into a low crouch when he heard something rap against the door. He scrambled right next to the door, to the side which the door opened, so that he would be in dark when the door opened. He till that someone opened the door and stepped quietly inside.
Teiron could make out the silhouette of a woman, but what was she doing here? He sneaked bahind, slowly he rose to his full height. The woman had noticed something as she suddenly stiffened and started to turn. Before she could finish moving Teiron slammed her into the wall and put his other hand over her mouth. and bent her other arm behind her back.

"Scream and die. Now tell me, what are you doing here?" Stressing his word by twisting her arm even more.

Emora:

((OOC: It is late! Just got back from a game and thought I'd post before sleeping! We lost by the way))

The woman looked at him fearfully. "I was just coming to keep you company..." She stuttered and looked at him. She hoped he believed her for it was the truth. "Honest..."

Mia jumped almost totally out of the bed when something in the other room slammed against the wall. What is he doing? she asked herself and rolled her eyes. All I want is to try and sleep!!

"Please, sir..." the whore said and looked at him with pleading eyes. "Let me go... I'll be on my way... please?"

Yeth:

Teiron edged close and prodded the whore in her chest.
"What gave you the idea that I needed company, who gave you the permission to enter MY room!?"
He was angry now, very angry. The woman hadn't done that bad thing, but it worked like a catalyst and suddenly he was very, very angry.
He grabbed the womans arms and threw her into the hallway, hissing to her: "If I ever see you again, I will rip you apart."
Huffing he slammed the door shut, turned around and kicked the table hard. He couldn't get sleep before, and now he was too angry to sleep or think logically. He needed something to went his anger in. Whirling around he punched the wall hard enough to make the wood cave in.

Emora:

Mia got off the bed slowly and was walking to the door when she heard the scream of a woman, before she had the door open another door slammed and then right after that a loud bang came from the next room over. She walked down the hall slowly. Other people in the hall were looking that way, towards that door and she could only guess what was happening.

She knocked softly and rubbed her arm absent mindedly as she waited for him to either break the door open in his werewolf form or drag her in by her shirt in his human form. Who could tell with this man? He was like a split person.

"Teiron?" And why did she even care if he had problems?

Yeth:

He slammed the door open, allmost tearing it off it's hinges. He grabbed Mias neck with his left hand, lifted her off the ground slammed the door close with his right hand, and shouted at her: "WHAT?!"

Emora:

Mia's eyes grew very wide and her mouth opened to scream. She grabbed his hand with both of her small ones to try and pull his grip free. Her feet swung in the air slightly. She began to dig her nails into his hand. "Let me go..." she said weakly, maybe he didn't know his own strength but he was cutting off her air supply slowly. "Your hurting me... Let me GO!"

Yeth:

Looking at her squirming in his hands he was suddenly disgusted by himself and her. And I thought she was strong... What am I really doing helping her?

Dropping her to the floor he asked her again, more slowly.
"What do you want?"

Looking at her he raised his wrist to his mouth and suckled where she had dug her fingers.

Emora:

"First..." Mia said as she got up and as soon as she reached her feet she balled her fist up and threw it towards his chin harder than even she thought she could.

She sighed... now she felt a whole lot better! "Second, do you have a thing for picking on females or has this become a new habit?"

"Besides, you said for me to get rest.... wouldn't want me to be a tired prey now would you... and it is mighty hard when you keep beating things!" She put her hands on her hips and looked at him with her mismatched eyes.

She was doing a pretty good acting job, if she could say so herself. She actually had her trembling under control.

Yeth:

Teiron swayed on his feet. He was unprepared for the girls strike. He looked down at her her eyes.. She had hit him?.
"I don't have a habit of picking on women, she was the one who sneaked into my room, how coul dI know what she would do?" He gestured the towards the door and the place where the woman was.
"And you can sleep very well even if I hit a wall, and if you can' you should... wait, why am I explaining to you anything?"

Emora:

Mia smiled cunningly. "Your just dazed by how hard I hit you, it's alright... you'll heal." She sighed for a moment and reached behind her to try and rub the burning sensation out of her back.

"Well, sorry to have disturbed your brooding..." She turned and grabbed the doorknob about to walk out of the room.

She really wondered why he had begun explaining things to her. Maybe he was delusional… or still really confused. She stopped and turned around. “Have you gotten hit on the head lately?” she asked absentmindedly and then shook her head… “Never mind.” It was a bad idea to bring up the confusion thing again… seeing his last reaction told her that.

Yeth:

Teiron stood dumbfounded on his place. "No... Wait..." He growled a bit at how frustrating and at the same time, humorous, the whole situation was. "Is something wrong with your back, or why do rub it?"

Emora:

"Hmmm...." Mia said and put a finger to her full lips. "Lets see... attacked by demons... thugs... more thugs... and you became my doctor. I wonder why my back hurts..." She really didn't mean to be so sarcastic. "I'm sorry..." she said and lowered her head for a moment, she really, really didn't want to make him mad. "It just burns... probably-"

Mia covered her mouth and coughed harder than before. "Excuse me..." she said and glanced at her bloody hand, trying to keep it out of his view before wiping it on her clothes. "It's nothing... it will be better in the morning. I'll return to me cell... oh... I mean room."

Yeth:

Her sarcasm went unnotices when he watched her trying to hide her hand worriedly. He had seen the blood, some blood must've gotten to her lungs someway, they would need to find a healer fast. He couldn't let her die now, having already saved her so often.

There was one healer in about one day of walking. He could make it in a fraction of that time by runing, but Mia couldn't make it so fast. And then there was the fact that the man didn't like him at all, but maybe he would agree to save the girl. They could leave now and get her traeted faster, but some rest would be good to her. Then again, after the rest her condition might get worse, fast.

"Get suited up, we are leaving now."

Emora:

"I'm 'suited' up..." she said looking at him with a bit of confusion. "Why are we leaving? You don't like the accommodations?"

He was a very confusing man and one that seemed as if he couldn't make up his mind. What if he was hungry... what if he wanted to eat her now! What if that was why they were leaving! "I'm feeling very tired... could we leave some other time?" she asked urgently and began backing towards the door.

Yeth:

"No, we are leaving right now... To get you to a healer. I saw your hand and the blood on it, I know one. He's about one days worth of travelling away. If you can't walk all the way there, then I'll carry you. Coughing blood never is a good sing. Come now" He stormed past to get out of the house.

Emora:

Mia followed quickly. She didn't object to having a healer help her... but then Teiron would kill her so she didn't want to see one any time soon. "Why don't you steal a horse... riding is faster." Why can't I keep my mouth shut?

Think.... think... how can you get out of this... Come on Mia... She walked down the steps with him looking around for a place to run it. But because of what he was he would be far more faster than her.

Yeth:

"No horses, horses don't... well they fear me a bit. We'll run first, I hope you are up to it." Teiron grasped her hand in a tight grip and started jogging to the woods dragging her with him.

It might take us a day with your condition. We'll stop few times to drink and eat.

Emora:

While they ran out of the inn she looked around and saw a man that seemed to draw her attention, maybe because he was watching them closely. He was holding the reins to a horse and had a leather jacket on. He had long hair that was straight and came to his shoulders in a greasy like board way and a ring in his nose on one side. He had another one through his eyebrow and one through his lip. She looked away as they began to enter the woods.

When they entered the woods Mia tried being light on her feet, but he was moving to fast for her and she tripped several times, he kept going, pulling her to her feet. She finally gave up looking at the ground and started running with him, trying her best to keep up.

"Don't go so fast!" she told him and almost tripped over a root. "You’re going to kill me..." She stopped the thought running through her head. No pun intended.

Yeth:

He slowed down, it was just stupid to strain her too much. Sighing impatiently he hurried her. "Come faster, aren't you J'ra supposed to be good runners"
Something didn't feel right, the feeling had started after they had left the town. Maybe it the whole thing about getting help from the healer....
The healer in question was an old man. Old wise man who had seen the Queen Wars and survived. And learnt to hate anything demonic. He would kill Teiron without hesitation, but he would probably look out for the girl.
Teiron slowed his gait a bit, to allow Mia catch up with her smaller steps.

Emora:

Mia caught up and glared at him. "Yea, well its not every day I get thrown against a tree you know and thanks to your healing skills my back feels like I'm roasting on an open fire." She took a deep breath and coughed once and then again. She took a deep breath and got back up, not looking at him, but walked faster to get away from his eyes for a moment.

"So which way is this healer person." So I can run in the opposite direction... She looked around the dark forest, shivering slightly and rubbed her arms. "Why are you in such a hurry? Getting hungry? Want me as a snack? I'd rather kill myself..." she said and turned to look at him. "Than give you the satisfaction of winning, because you know you will. So when the time comes... you’re going to be greatly disappointed." She glared at him.

Yeth:

"Stop whining already, if it weren't for me you'd be in pieces laying on the forest floor, or some demons stomach. At least now you have a chance, and that is mroe than many people get. And stop glaring at me like that and try to concentrate on running. We are in a hurry because I'm trying to save your life... again."
Teiron, seeing that she could keep up with him, started going slightly faster.

Emora:

Mia rolled her eyes and ran to keep up with him. "I'm not whining, Mr. Confusion!" she said as she caught up with him and ran by his side. "I'm stating a fact." She smirked.

"I don't remember asking you for your help. Why don't you go find some one else to help, that way I want have to worry about you when I'm feeling better!" she glared at him again, not caring what he thought. She could do what ever she wanted to her prison guard/executioner.

"I can glare at you if I want. Besides I don't think that brain of yours is working... if you have one any way..." She coughed a bit more violently, covering her mouth with the back of her hand and closing her eyes. When she had her breath she looked at him. "Because running makes you breath harder, which makes you use your lungs more, which makes this..." she coughed again and looked up. "happen."

Yeth:

"So I should've left you die there, is that what you want? I swear, you are one of the most ungrateful persons I've ever met." Glaring back at her two colored minds he deviced his own little revenge. He continued with a mocking voice "It's true that running "makes that happen"then you shouldn't run"
Then he accelerated a bit took hold of her waist and threw her on his shoulder. "Now you won't have to run and we can go faster."

Emora:

Mia screamed when he lifted her over his shoulder. "Put me down!" She kicked her legs trying to hit him in the stomach. She hated heights... even this high. He didn't seem to be listening and that aggravated her. "You know I could break your neck from this point!" she said trying to get him to put her down. Oh, dear, he's going to drop me...

She pushed off his shoulder trying to get him to put her down. She managed to slither in his arms to where he was running with her hanging down the front of him. But, all his motion caused her to make his arms touch her back and the grip he had caused it to hurt quite a bit. She cried out and to pull herself up, to make it stop, she wrapped an arm around his neck, pulling herself up slightly, but all this caused her to hug him. Her whole body stiffened and she hugged him close trying not to slip further and cause herself any more pain. Her free hand with out her even knowing was clutching his arm just bellow the shoulder. “Mmm..” She bit her bottom lip, her head was lying on his shoulder..

Yeth:

Teiron nudged Mia slightly. "Wake up, we are here."
He couldn't understand how she had fallen asleep, the ride must've been a bit jumpy with him running as fast as he could and wel... from earlier actions he thought that she just feared and or hated him. Her squirming had caught him offguard and almost dropped her. Suddenly she had stiffened and hugged him close. After a while he had noticed her slow and steady breathing, she had fallen asleep.
She had slept the whole time, exhausted from the earlier events and still did. Now Teiron faced a problem, she wouldn't wake up. Watching her face he shook her a bit harder this time, but to no avail. There was one thing he could do, she wouldn't like it. He hadn't liked it...
Grinning he brought his other right in front of her face and flicked her nose.
I'm so evil.

Emora:

Mia groaned, she was so tried and she liked sleeping... she didn't feel the pain until now. Her eyes flickered and they opened slightly. She pushed herself slightly; still to sleepy to remember or even noticed that she was still holding on to Teiron. Glaring at him she asked, "What did you do?"

She didn't trust him at all and she didn't remember sleeping. He probably did something... probably knocked her out. Then again she could remember many times she had fallen a sleep and didn't remember doing so. She loosened her arm around his neck slightly, hoping his arms weren't still folded around her small frame. She slid down his body until her feet touched the ground and she stood there, covering a yawn and trying to shake herself awake.

"I'm so tired..." she said mostly to herself looking up at him. She tiredly turned around and while looking at where they were she wiped the sleep from her eyes. Her stomach growled lightly and she remembered that she hadn't eaten the night before because she wasn't hungry... now she was.

She ran a hand through her pretty white hair and looked back at him through her different eyes. “So how well do you know this healer?” she asked rubbing her back showing her discomfort clearly on her face.

Yeth:

"We... have met before few times he is an old man with a kind heart. He should help you for free" He had enough money to last them along time, but he'd be damned to give the healer anything.

"You can go ahead inside. I'll go scout the area bit."

She didn't need to know of his problems with the healer, who for some reason, insisted that he was an evil beast. Nor did he mention the feeling that something was wrong.

Emora:

Mia walked towards the small hut, which seemed to be in very good shape. She walked up a step and towards a door. She knocked softly. A man opened the door and poked his head out. He was just a little bit shorter than Mia and had a cheerful sort of disposition about him.

"Yes, may I help you?" the man asked and Mia smiled slightly.

"I need a healer..." she said and felt for some reason very corny.

"Well, ya come to the right place deary." The old man smiled and stepped a side, opening in the door, which Mia had to duck slightly to enter. The house was warm and cozy on the inside. There was a kettle on the fire, a cat sleeping in a chair, and a smell of food in the air that made her mouth water. Before he closed the door she looked out behind her to see where Teiron was.

"Not, what be the problem?" the little old man asked and sat down in the chair, the cat getting out quickly and running to the top of a couch.

"It's my back sir... the man I was with did something... for infections I think. I was walking in the forest when I was attacked and injured..."

"Girl, don't you know the forest is no place for a young lady as yourself alone. I know the J'ra are supposed to be excellent fighters but... still," he said and smiled slightly. "Well... let me take a look. You said there was a man with you?”
“Yes… his name’s Teiron.”

Yeth:

Toto, the old healer, stiffened when he heard the werewolfs name That blasted werewolf, what does he have to do with this young girl?
"What has he done to you?" He demanded "I know his kind, those beasts have no hearts and they would slaughter you at the first chance!"

Emora:

Oh, so he knows him... interesting. Mia looked out the window for a moment, wondering how she could answer. But, she knew that as soon as she was well and healed he would kill her. Toto ( ) was right... he was heartless... and he wouldn't think twice before ripping her to pieces. When she thought of this she noticed something. She actually cared... She was actually hurt that it was what he wanted to do... What the hell has gotten into me... It's not like we have a friendship...

"He's been saving my life..." she replied and sighed. "But, he explains his actions. He has been saving my life, because he saw me as.... and still does... as a good hunt. But, I'm hurt and I guess he doesn't see it very sporting to hunt a wounded prey. So he brought me to you and as soon as you have healed me I assume I will die." She looked down feeling the hurt sort of feeling grow. He's not my friend... he's not... you've only known him for one night... yet for some strange reason it feels like longer.

Mia felt like hitting herself in the head for how stupid she was being. Really... she needed more sleep! She was being a stupid little girl or at least thats how she felt about it. Great! Now I'm the confused one.

Yeth:

Toto understod the girl situation, sooner or later that creature would hunt her down and kill her.
"I can help you, first I'll heal you. I know one hunter who coud kill the beast before he hurts you. But first things first, we need to look at what he did to your wounds." Come, sit in this stool.

Emora:

Mia sat on the stool as she was told and she felt a painful pressure on her back. She winced and heard him ask her a question. "Have you been coughing blood?"

How did he know? "Yes, sir..." she said and heard him make a noise.

"Just as I thought... magic it is then..." Mia felt a tingle run all through her body and her body felt numb for a moment. Then the tingle feeling went away and Mia no longer felt the constant pain in her back. She sighed deeply it felt so much better. "Thank you..."

Yeth:

"The hunter I spoke of is coming here, actually he should be here today. You should stay here with me, the beast wouldn't dare come close to me, and even if it did I have my sword ready."

He walked to a closet in the corner and took out a long sheath. He pulled the sword and turned it in his hands. The sword was long, shiny and had a leather cord tied around the hilt, it looked just like any normal sword.

"It may not look like the fanciest of swords, but it has served me well and rid the world of more fearsome creatures."

Emora:

No offence to the old man... but he wouldn't survive an attack from Teiron. Teiron was tall, strong, fast, and clever. The old man might have been those things too... fifty years ago.

"I wouldn't want to bring you harm... I think I'll escape while he's busy..." she said and looked around. "You don't happen to have a cloak I can borrow... these clothes have become quiet... indecent. And I'll need a back door. I think I can make it to my village." If only I knew which direction it was in now.

"Your hunter could cause me to get a head start and if I make it to my village they can protect me well enough there." She looked out the window again as the morning dew began to dry.

Yeth:

Scrutinising her he complied. "You'll have run very fast and not stop, even then he might catch you..." Sighing he took out a dark green cloak. "Wear it, who knows you might even be able to fool him a bit, that cloak blends in well with the forest. Your village will be the haven for you, that much is true... I'll send the hunter to the direction you leave. Go now from the back door and run fast."

Emora:

Mia took the cloak and wrapped it around her neck, clipping it to hold it on. "Thank you..." she walked to the back door and opened it peering out. She didn't see Teiron any where. She took a deep breath and... (cue music) ran for her life.

She ran as fast as she could through the forest, not looking back to say good bye to the man or anything. She ducking under low limbs and jumping roots and down trees. She ran faster than she had ever run in her life and strangely she was enjoying the thrill of it.

I think I hit that tree to hard... Strangely a smile came to her face and she ran faster.

Yeth:

Teiron came back to the hut, he'd been away for half an hour or so, he figured that the man would take a bit longer than that to heal Mia. He watched the front entrance from a bush, waiting for her to get out, but when the door opened only the old man came out. He looked around a bit and smiled and went inside. After ten minutes he started to get worried, that old bastard had tricked him somehow, he was sure of it!
He circled the whole house couple of times, on the third he finally found a clue. A barely noticeable path made of few broken twigs.
So, she ran away, that old bastard helped her, should've known.

Willing his power to manifest himself he transformed into a werewolf. Snarling he looked at the house, he would come back later and destroy the whole place, but now the hunt was more important.
He howled a long strong howl which pierced the air and was heard in a long radius. No one could stop him now, and then he bounded after Mia.

Emora:

Mia lost her smile when she heard the distant howl that seemed so close... He can't be close... She told herself this over and over as she ran. Her golden skin glistened with sweat as she turned and went down a path. It wasn't fair! He had heightened senses and she had a cloak! She had no weapon... She stopped, seeing a suitable stick that was much like her staff, which she had totally forgotten about being on the floor in her room at the inn.

She grabbed it as she ran by and was off again. But, running so much was beginning to make her side hurt. She ignored it and ran as fast as she could, but slowly her body slowed down as it grew tired and she had to stop and rest.

She slammed up against a tree, throwing her head back and breathing heavily. She stood that so any one walking behind her wouldn't see her, instead they would see a tree.

This is useless... he's going to find me... She new one thing that could kill the sent on some one and she was sure she was putting off some scent. He had been around her long enough to know what she smelled like. She needed to find water...

Just her luck... some where around her she could hear the sound of a water fall. It was either that or a raging river. She ran for it and as she got closer she could hear the sound get louder. She pushed through a brush and there it was. It was a wide clearing with a river that was moving calmly though a waterfall was poring down from one side. She knew Teiron could run very fast... she needed to get moving herself.

So she ran towards it, hoping there was a place to hide.

Yeth:

Teiron stopped at the river, he had followed her by the path and by her scent, but now both ended hear at the edge of the water. His tongue lolling in his mouth he sat down and drank from the river. She had either hidden somewhere near here or had gone down the river. He could either wait or storm to one direction. the best thing to do would be to check the other side.

He stood up and started towards the river, when he was halfway to the back something prickled his neck. He swatted it away angrily, not even looking at what it was. After he had crossed the river he noticed something was wrong. He started to feel light headed. After few steops he crumbled to ground. What is this I can barely turn my head?!/i]

Emora:

Mia watched from behind the waterfall. She was being drenched in the freezing cold water that felt like she was being frozen in ice. She shivered and rubbed her arms as her teeth chattered. She saw Teiron's wolf form and she covered her mouth... she didn't want to make any noise that would make him come towards her. Now she couldn't tell if she was shaking from fear or from cold.

She saw him cross the river and from there on he began acting rather strange until his wolf body hit the ground. She looked at him with a confused expression on her face. Maybe it was a trick... maybe he wanted her to come out and see if he was all right. Why should she care any way?! He wanted to rip her to shreds... Why should she care if he was hurt... but he had saved her life? That didn't matter! He still wanted to kill her. But... maybe if she helped him... he would leave her alone... or at least not kill her.

She was about to walk out from under the waterfall, which meant falling into the water and off the rock she was on.

A man... he seemed familiar and then she realized why... he was stepping on stones, his horse following in the water behind him. He made it across and drew a sword. He had a smile on his face... She knew what he wanted to do... and she couldn't let it happen.

She dove off the rock and swam to shore quickly. Mia pulled herself out of the water and ran towards him. "No!" she said and grabbed a stick off the ground as she ran. He was just about to lop off Teiron’s head when she held the stick like a bat and swung it into his stomach. He doubled over and stepped back quickly...

Yeth:

The hunter huffed and rightened himself after the girl had hit him. He turned to this new threat. The old man had said that the wolf had been chasing a girl, but if this was the girl then why was she helping him?
The poison he had infected the wolf with effect for half an hour max, so he had enough time to dispose of the girl and the wolf.

He swung his sword in an arc towards her midsection.

Emora:

Mia did a back bend, the sword heading it's coarse, bit missing her by a centimeter. She flipped herself backwards like a cartwheel and stood on her feet again, holding the stick like a bat again.

She was having a very hard time pulling all these moves with this wet heavy cloak on her shoulders, but she had no time to take it off and in any case she didn't want to. The dancers outfit and water did not mix one bit.

Yeth:

Reversing his swings heading and stepping closer he reached for her. After she dodged this too he feinted a strike and kicked at her.

Emora:

Mia tried dodge his swing, she could tell it was fake, but it was either dodge it or it cut into her side. She was kicked hard ad fell back into the river. She got to her feet, even more wet than before, strands of white fell in front of her face, but not so much that she couldn't see. She held the stick like a sword and then through it quickly, hitting him in the head. While this happened she ran out of the water and kicked him hard, as he fell she spun around and kicked his hand, the sword falling from his grasp.

Yeth:

Teiron watched the fight amazed. He was qenuinely dumbfounded why did she help him? His tongue lolling in his mouth he desperately trying to overcome the effects of the poison. If the hunter didn't kill him, then Mia might.

Groaning he tried to stand up... only succeeding in twitching his leg. This was not good, not at all.

Emora:

Mia was reaching for his sword when the hunter’s leg came around and hit her in the side. She fell over grabbing the sword quickly as she did so, a gasping sound escaping her lips. She held the sword with both hands and pointed it at him as she rolled to her knees and pushed it towards his throat.

"Leave him alone..." she said and glared at the man. The man smiled though...

He got to his feet and walked towards his horse, mounting it with quiet a bit of skill. He nodded and held out a hand. "I'd like that back, woman." Before Mia could do anything the sword flew from her grasp and into his. "I'll be back." Then he disappeared in the forest. Mia looked to Teiron who was lying on the ground. He would have no clothes when he decided to become human again. She unclasped her cloak, not knowing when he would be able to move and he didn't need to get cold... She draped it over him; though it was wet it would cover him. She looked at him for a moment and then backed away before turning to leave.

Yeth:

He stared helplessly at her. Why did she help him? Did she think he wouldn't kill him now? Maybe she was right, maybe he shouldn't kill her. He was frustrated and confused again. he oculnd't move nor think clearly as te poison clouded his mind. What? Why?

Emora:

When she made it in the forest she climbed a tree and sat where she could watch him to make sure he would be alright and that the hunter wouldn't come back to kill him. She sighed looking at her clothes, which were wet and formed to her body. It was hopeless to even consider them clothes any more...

She closed her eyes still feeling tired. But, she wouldn't sleep. Why was she helping him? Did it even matter any more? She was helping him and it was to late to stop now. She would sit down there with him if it weren't for the fact she was all wet and the for most one on her mind... the fact he would rip her to pieces.

Yeth:

Teiron stood groggily, he had fallen asleep and woken after half an hour or so. The venom the hunter had used was finally wearing off. He surveyed his surroundings, he had seen the J'ra leave the clearing, towards those trees. He walked towards the woods dragging the cloack with him, she'd need it if she was as wet as she seemed.

Following the trail he finally noticed her scent. He followed it under a tree and looked up when a small drop of water dripped on his nose. There she was, her gold skinned form staring down at him.

He raised the cape for her, he didn't need it in his wolf form. Managing to growl "Take it, you need it more"

((OOC: Sorry for the way too late reply, school has been literal hell))

Emora:

Mia took the cloak slowly, looking at him through worried eyes. She hadn't eve noticed he had come up to her until it was to late. She had been keeping her eyes closed, trying to get the much needed rest that she wanted.

"Thank you..." she said quietly, still wondering when he would decided to maul at her.

She knew he had no clothes. Maybe she should go back to where ever he had taken them off and get them for him. But... why would she even do that for him. She pulled her hand back with the cloak in it, draping it over her body to keep her warm. "Are you feeling alright?"

Maybe if she showed him kindness he would learn kindness. But, it might not change he fact he wanted to eat her and rip her apart.

((OOC: It's alright! I'm at school right now posting this (hehe) I have to go sew soon! Yes! I finally learned how to sew! My teacher is looking over my shoulder at the moment, probable wondering what I'm doing Talk to you later!! PS> Um... no spell checker this computer has no MICROSOFT WORD!!!! I can't believe it!))

Yeth:

He dipped his wolfish head, he was alright. Quietly he settled down to the earth under the trees green leaves. Keeping his other golden eye slightly open he relaxed and concentrated on listening and smelling for any dangers. This was good spot as any to rest a bit.

((Couldn't spot any typoes, this is a shortie and maybe you'll manage to reply before you go ))

Emora:

Mia was thinking about getting down from the tree when Teiron had left... but he didn't leave. Instead he parked himself right under her tree. She was most definitely not getting down now...

She returned her eyes to the clearing where the water fall was and watched with no intrest, but it gave her something to look at. She wondered what he was thinking and was aggravated that she wasn't gifted with reading minds. She seemed to always want to know what people were thinking... but never as much as she wanted to Teiron.

"So..." she said softly looking down to where his wolf form layed and then she closed her mouth, thinking it best not to talk. She rested her head on the back of the tree and closed her eyes, hoping she wouldn't fall a sleep and then fall out of the tree where he could get her.

Having a werewolf laying bellow her was a little unerving... but at the same time it made her feel secure. She growled softly. She hated being so confused.

((OOC: There aren't enough sewing machines in here!!))

Yeth:

Teiron started nodding off after sometime. Mia would probably wake him up with scream if something happened , she seemed to do it alot, scream that is.

She had started to say something a while back. After that quiet "So..." she had decide to stay silent. As he couldn't see anything else to do than wait he just rested.
His thoughts started wandering to what had happened, with whom had happened. Maybe she shouldn't try to kill the girl, she had saved his life afterall.
Well, it would do good to sleep first, she'd stay up as she feared him. He could try to talk to her later.
With a yawn ,which showed his long white teeth, a slight stretch of his neck, he settled even more comfotably and tried to get some sleep.

Emora:

Mia noticed that Teiron had nodded off to sleep after a while of total silence and the fact that he wasn't moving. She decided this was the perfect time to get away. After all if he was sleeping it meant he wouldn't be as quick when he woke up. She pulled the cloak tight around her and clipped it. She turned and began climbing down the other side of he tree and she started off into he woods slowly, trying not to make any noise. Then, as soon as she thought it was safe she ran as quick as she could.

She looked back once, but then kept going trying to get away, hoping he wouldn't wake up.

Yeth:

Deep in his slumber Teiron thought he had heard someone quietly sneaking away. Well, it can't be the girl, she wouldn't dare to do it... maybe.
He continued his sleep for many many hours. He woke up at around nightfall. When he looked up he noticed that the branch was empty. She had been the one! Thinking back he couldn't understand how he hadn't woken up.

Quickly he jumped up, there was no time to waste and the girl had a big lead, lead of hours. He searched for tracks sometime, luckily enough there hand't been much of animals wandering around to ruin them, maybe his scent had scared them.

Growling at his stupidity he ran as fast as he could. He had to find that girl before the J'ra village and he knew that the village wasn't that far away.

Emora:

It was getting late and Mia had no clue where she was. She was tired too and thought that finding a place to rest would be a good idea.

She walked until she came to a cliff side and there she found a cave. She walked into the cave a ways, who knew what was in there in the first place. She sat down on the hard ground and pulled the cloak tight around her, pulling the hood over her head and closing her eyes to get some sleep.

She wasn't a sleep long when she heard the sound of a horse's neigh. She woke up quickly in a jerking like fashion and stood slowly in the darkness of the cave. She peaked her head out, looking around the out side just to see the horse.

"Wrong direction," a voice said from behind and Mia turned to see no one, it was to dark. Then the figured stepped into the moonlight and it was the hunter. "I went back to where I last saw your friend... he wasn't there. Maybe you can help me find him?"

Mia looked at him only a second more and before he could even get a hold of her she took off running through the woods. She didn't make it far; with the sound of a dart being blown through a dart gun her body hit the ground hard.

"Not as potent," he told himself and walked towards her body, lifting it up and throwing it over his shoulder, carrying it back into the cave. "But, she'll be awake in no time."

He sat her down in the same place she had been sleeping and built a fire. When he thought it right about the time to wake her up he tied her hands and feet together and then gave her the hardest slap she had ever received across the face. "Now tell me when he'll be here?"

He guessed that since the Mia was sleeping in this cave this is where she was supposed to meat him, since they had to be friends.

Yeth:

He had been running her tracks without stopping, there was no time to waste.
When he arrived near some caves he slowed down, the girl must be exhausted and would probably sleep sometime. Teiron edged forwards, the tracks led straight toward caves. When he was mere meters away from one cave he heard some commotion. He smelled the J'ra girl, Mia and that accursed hunter. He couldn't have him get her, Mia was his.

Emora:

"I don't know..." Mia answered and looked up at the hunter through a more deadly glare than she even gave Teiron.

He reared back, ready to hit her face again. "Tell me where he is!" he ordered with a whole lot of annoyance in his voice. He hit her across the face and Mia had finally had enough. She brought her feet up, even thought they were tied together and brought them around, knocking his feet out from under him. She was just about to kick him when he pulled a long curved knife and put it to her neck. He got to his knees, straddling her legs to hold them done and putting the knife as if he were going to push it right through her throat, holding it with both hands. He cut her cloak free from her neck. "Now, lets discuss this again..."

Yeth:

Teiron stepped into the cave and growled at the spectacle in front of his eyes. The hunter straddled Mia and was holding a knife to her throat. He walked slowly towards the man who was demanding the girl to tell him where Teiron was, well he'd find out soong enough.

Suddenly the man stiffened, he could smell his hate, he wasn't afraid of him... yet. When the man started turning towards him Teiron leapt at his throat.

Emora:

The Hunter pushed himself back and Teiron passed over him. He got to his feet quickly and drew his sword. "Just for lying wench... I'll create a special death just for you." And he would. His long greasy hair blew in the wind as his face contorted and he charged at the werewolf.

Mia pulled her legs up to where her knees were to her chest and she tried to untie them, but they didn't seem to want to come untied and it was hard to do it when you hands were tied to.

He, the Hunter, had a dagger and sword, slashing at the beast. Mia pulled her wrists to her and bit at the ropes, but she began to make her teeth hurt so she stopped. She wanted to get away before Teiron was free, before he could get her. The fire was close by... it would hurt but maybe she could burn the ropes off? It would hurt greatly, but at least she would be free.

Yeth:

Teiron whirled around and snapped at the hunter. He noticed the girl working on the knots, she could help him if she got free.
He snapped and clawed at the man, who kept a safe distance. When Teiron had pushed the man far away he turned ran up to the girl and sliced the ropes and a bit of her skin.

Again he turned around to face the hunter, just soon enough that he could dodge the little dart he blew at him.

Emora:

Mia tried to get away when Teiron ran towards her. She closed her eyes when his claws came around and she fully expected herself to get sliced open. Instead he cut her free.

She watched him as he began to battle the Hunter again. Damn... if I were any more kind hearted... Mia picked up a large rock and through it at the Hunter. It didn't do anything at first so she picked up softball-sized rock and chunked it at him. Slamming it into the small of his back.

He turned sharply towards her and Teiron was taking his precious time. Right before he jerked her up by the neck she squeaked out, "Now would be a good time to kill him!"

Yeth:

Jumped on the hutners back forcing him with his weight to his knees and drop the girl. He bited with his fangs on his neck, when he heard the man cry out he twisted his neck up and pushed his shoulders with his claws. With an audible crack the mans spine broke and he ripped his head off.

He loosened his jaws and dropped the head to the ground. He lowered his head and looked through the bloody mist into the girl eyes.

Emora:

Mia turned her head away when Teiron began his gruesome attack on the Hunter. Not that the hunter didn't disserve it. If he watched the clothes he could probably fit in them once the Hunter was dead...

All good thoughts of Teiron faded when she turned her head back to meet his eyes, his head lowered. She swallowed hard, feeling as if a thousand people watched her with hungry and angry looks. She took a small step back. She stopped when her back hit the wall, but for some reason something told her to try and get further back so she was pressing herself against the wall.

What should she say? What could she say to make him change his mind about ripping her a part, after seeing what the Hunter had gone through and hearing his pain filled screams the image of it happening to herself made her actually weak in the knees and sick to her stomach. All she could say, no matter how many words were running through her head was his name... "Teiron..." and even it came out so softly she could barely hear it, not to mention in a squeaking way...

Yeth:

Not caring of what she said Teiron moved slowly over the body forcing her against the wall, still moving forwards he stopped when his face was bare centimeters away from her. He inhaled her scent and could almost taste her fear. He didn't exactly wish her to fear him, but there was the strange feeling of power. Leaning a bit forward his nose brushed her cheeck and left a bloody smear. He rested his head on her neck, taking in the the scent of fear, the gushing blood under her golden skin. It was slowly overwhelming, so sweet. He yearned to sink his fangs and taste the metallic tate, but he also wanted to caress the skin.

((Sorry for slow updates, especially earlier on. I've been lazy, especially now that I got Myth1&2 (No, not Myst, mind you.)))

Emora:

Mia stiffened hen he grew closer. She could feel her heart racing and it felt like it was going to come out of her chest. She wanted to tell him to stop, to beg him not to eat her, but she was too afraid, it would only come out in a useless squeak. When his werewolf face grew close to her own she turned her head away, shutting her eyes tightly.

She felt so very small at the moment like he could crush her against the wall. Yes, she was small compared to his large werewolf form. What did she have to do to keep him from hurting her? She saved his life... she helped him beat the hunter! What next?

She didn't even notice that her nails were clawing into the stone or into her hand. She stiffened even more when his head grew closer to her neck and she whimper slightly, bracing herself, her body totally rigged. It was the longest breath she had ever held...

Yeth:

Teiron tore a shallow wound to her neck with his claw forcing some blood to flow out. This woke Mia from her stupor and she lashed at him with a branch she managed to pick up.
Teiron leapt backwards, barely managing to avoid the branch, not that it would've done any harm to him.

Emora:

Mia gasped when she felt the wound tore into her neck and she grabbed anything she could quickly to get him away. When he was to the side she put a hand to her neck, pulling it back, stepping away from him and towards the mouth of the cave. She looked at her hand to see blood and then she looked back up at Teiron.

With out saying anything, feeling it was totally hopeless to even try and stop him, he wouldn't listen, he was heartless; she took off into the forest for a midnight run. It was to dark to see and she ran into the branches, pushing through, causing scratches on her arms. She tripped over a root, but caught herself and continued until she heard a loud roar; pushing through the branches she came to a spot hanging over a cliff and down bellow was a raging river, not more than twenty feet bellow. She stopped at the edge of the cliff looking over at the darkness bellow she could barely see the water.

Yeth:

Teiron stared at where the girl had ran, there was a river there. A river which led towards the J'ra village, if she went down the river she'd get there in no time and that, would be bad, for the hunt.

He started running after her, first slowly and picking up speed with every step, the river ran in a canyon, but she could follow it from up, it was doubtful that she jump, but then again anything was possible with that girl.

It wasn't a long run till he found the girl, staring down the canyon into the raging river. He slowed down and stalked silently behind her. When he was but few feet away he rose up and his shadow enfulged her.

Emora:

Mia stared down into the river and she felt a large presence behind her. She turned slowly until she face him staring up at him with now determined eyes. Yes, she was afraid, so much she was trembling, but even that didn't keep her from behind brave. "You disgust me," she said and with that took a step backwards and began the fall to the icy water bellow.

When she hit it was like her body was pierced with a thousand needles, that is how cold the water was. She didn't come up for air, the push of the river held her down to long and by the time she finally came up her lungs were burning. It was to dark and she couldn't see where she was going. She slammed into a rock hard and then another, spinning around her back and the back of her head was knocked into an even larger rock. She fought to keep her head above water, as she went down a small fall, not more than 3 feet high. She was pushed under and she did the one thing she should have never done, try to stand. The push of the water caught her foot in a rock and pushed her downwards under the water. She fought to get her foot out, but it wouldn’t come out. She managed to get her head back above water some how and she grabbed a rock to keep herself from going under.

She hugged the rock tightly, her body felt as if it were being punched all over, battered by the beat of the water. There she rested…
Yeth:

Teiron stood perplexed on the edge of the cliff, he disgusted her? Doesn't she understand the whole idea. He gave her a chance, helped her so that she might even have a chance against him. Well, their ways were different, so it was only predictable.
He might as well help her again, it seemed to be a trend. She would be quite hurt after her time in the river, then again if the river took her fast and far enough, she'd get very close to the village.

If she managed to get there, it would be quite challenging to finish this whole mess, but then again, the hunt wasn't supposed to be easy.

Finally managing to decide his course of action, Teiron started following the river, watching for any signs of Mia.

Emora:

Mia yanked at her foot, slowly loosening it from the grip of the rock. It came free and she pulled herself up on the rock until she drug her knees to where she was sitting on it. She took in deep breaths and sighed for a moment, spread out across the large rock, looking sleepily up towards the cliff, the werewolf now gone.

Determination caused her to push herself off the rock, standing on uneasy footing and she jumped to the hard safe land, rolling onto the ground and sliding to a stop. She stood up quickly, hearing footsteps coming and she hid behind a bush.

She saw him and his heartless self come into view, just on the edge of the river. She crouched low for a moment, he would smell her if she waited any longer, because of the water the blood hadn't clotted and dried, it ran freely down her neck and to her chest.

With one wild leap and the last of her energy she jumped forward and kicked the werewolf in the side, sending him towards the water. She fell to her knees and pushed herself up quickly to stand, watching with hopeful eyes that he would fall into the river, pass out and wake up some where far from her village.

With the very last of her strength she turned and made her way towards lights that she could see distantly. When she reached the very edge and began to wonder into town her fellow villagers came to her aid, some recognized her and rushed her to her family, where they took her with open arms. They wrapped her in warm blankets to bring color back into her and the purple from her lips. There she slept until morning…

Yeth:

Coughing water Teiron stod up on the rivers bank he had washed on. Somehow the girl had managed to suprise him and kick him into the river. he had tumbled into rocks and his head hit hard enough to disorient him badly. It had ended when he was washed here. That girl could kick hard.
She was probably in the village now, it wouldn't do any good to rush things. He might as well hunt a bit and rest here. In the morning he'd leave for the village.
Shaking himself he tried to dry himself a bit. Being wet wasn't nice at all, cold and all that stuff. Teiron left the bank to find something to eat. Hungry wasn't good either...

Emora:

To the J'ra Village....

To be continued
