The Kenkakugumi HQ is has walls on two sides and a mountain behind it. The walls are only about 15 feet high. The grounds inside the walls are about 10 acres.
The living quarters are inside a 1 story building. The quarters are of the Ongoreth style. There is still an outer pathway that is covered so people can walk around outside, but guarded from the elements. Inside are a series of hallways and small one person rooms. With rice paper sliding doors. There are also two massive rooms for the male and female apprentices that live there. Behind the quarters is an open air, magically heated furo (bath) with a roof over it for the members to bathe in. There is a male and female side seperated by a wooden wall. Both sides still have a cover over it in case of rain however. Remember to rinse off before entering the furo!
There are hallways connecting to two other buildings. One of them is the kitchen and dining area. The other one is the dojo. The kitchen/dining area is also 1 story. The cooks/housekeepers, Namina Akari and Kano Shinji (last name first), live in their quarters in that building. The dojo is a big building the height of a 2 story building which can fit a good 30 people training in it at once comfortably.
In the courtyard there is also a nice rock garden with a pond in the middle and a bridge going over it, a few Ongoreth plants and flowers growing on the sides. Some of the members prefer to train in the courtyard and near the rock garden, sometimes actually using the garden for specific training exercises such as bridge fighting.
There is a decent sized town in front of the headquarters where the members enjoy going to while not traveling to get stronger. There are geisha houses and marketplaces there. Every once in a while there are even festivals held there. The area in and around the headquarters is a rather lively place.
