About the Kenkakugumi

Kenkakugumi
The Kenkakugumi is primarily known as a vigilante group, but will obey orders sent from the Shogun as well and are funded by the Shogun. Any samurai, male or female, or any other sort of swordsman is free to join the group, with a limit of 100 people, not including apprentices with skill that will be possible future members. However, one must take an entry test to join, which consists of trial by combat using bokken (Characters can be made already in it if wanted to). Members are expected to obey the rules of the Kenkakugumi. Haori (the kimono jacket) with the Kenkakugumi crest on the back of it is optional for everyday wear. The Kenkakugumi crest appears like a pair of crossed katanas. The members are paid a rather decent salary and are provided with room and board while at the headquarters. The main purpose of the Kenkakugumi is to protect those in need and to get stronger. (Note: If anyone needs the Commander in their thread, message me, Kyosuke, and I'll be happy to comply.)
Rules of the Kenkakugumi:
1. When a member of the Kenkakugumi draws his sword, they draw to kill. Therefore, if the conflict could be avoided through words, do so.
2. If one wishes to leave the Kenkakugumi, they must provide a good reason for leaving, or they will be considered a deserter and hunted down by the other members.
3. If a member of the Kenkakugumi sees someone in trouble, they will go to their aid. The immediate use of a sword will not be punished in the case that the violation was serious.
4. Members are expected to obey the orders that the Commander gives unless it absolutely cannot be avoided. (I.E. The members are out somewhere far and cannot be found in time to be given the orders)
5. Anybody who violates any of these rules will be at the mercy of the judgement of the Commander, with the opinion of the Vice Commander when the position is decided, of the Kenkakugumi. In many cases the punishment will be seppuku (samurai ritual suicide for those who do not know).
