Soran walked stiffly in front of Jhaptal. Mayne grasped her mirror and chanted a few quiet words, and then a semi-transparent violet disk appeared before them, slightly taller in diameter than Soran. Sensing Tensho's eyes on his back, the rogue walked forward and stepped cautiously into the disk, his leg disappearring into it. He stared down at his missing leg, distrusting the magical gate.
"Best to go in all at once, if you don't want parts to get 'misplaced'," Mayne chided with a grin. Soran frowned, and stepped through. After a blinding flash of light, he found himself in a strange, elliptical room, lit by sconces. He wasn't sure where he was, but got the feeling it was underground. The room itself seemed full of contradictions. The floor was covered in clean white tiles, suggesting a showroom or some formal purpose, but the walls were unfinished gray stone, neatly laid but unattractive. The ironwork on the sconces was elaborate and elegant, contrasting sharply with what Soran presently noticed: a fence of thin steel bars that cut a tangent across one side of the elliptical room, embedded seamlessly into the ceiling and floor. The bars formed a crescent-shaped cage with the arch of the wall, with a gate built in at the edge. Various equipment had been built into the wall, presumably for binding those inside the cage. Some of the equipment he'd seen before; some he hadn't. Other than an unbefittingly comfortable chair set in the corner of the area he now stood in, the room was unfurnished. Soran scanned it for exits.

Jhaptal followed Soran into the portal with Mayn finally entering last. The two emerged behind Soran and the ninja wasted no time in shoving Soran into the cage and locking it behind him, then left the room without a word. He left Mayn to do whatever she wanted, whether it was to go to sleep or taunt their captive. He had to make a report to the Lady Reya.

Rai woke a few hours after she had fallen a sleep. She was to scared to move out of her bed or anything. She was afraid some monster was hiding in her room waiting to kill her just as it had Soran in her dream.
Finally she decided to Mizuki would be the best person to go see, if she wasn't too busy with Blade. Mizuki could give that motherly touch Rai missed so much.
Rai hopped out of the bed, trying not to let what might be under her bed grab her by the legs and drag her under.
She walked down the hall sleepily, yawning as her feet dragged across the wood floor. Rai opened the door to Mizuki's room and walked towards her bed, crawling on top and poking Mizuki with a finger.
"Mizuki..." she whispered. "Mizuki..." She poked her over and over, hoping to wake her up.

Mizuki's eyes finally fluttered open. She looked down at Rai with question then sat up tiredly.
"Rai? WHa--where...?" She stayed silent for a moment then remembered. Soran had to go meet those people... Her eyes glistened sadly for a moment before she looked back up to Rai. "Hey sweetie, whats up?" She didn't want to worry Rai.

Mizuki thought about what Rai had said for a moment. Rai was sleeping peacefully beside her... she couldn't have any seer powers... No, dreams were tricky like that. Even Mizuki couldn't sort out just wanton desires of the mind with something actually related with her own seer powers. She sighed somewhat mournfully and looked out her window. It was still just barely daylight...
...She hoped Soran would home home safely...

Rai wasn't a sleep for very long. Soon the light was shinning through the windows and onto her eyelids. She yawned and squirmed around trying to hide herself from the sun, but was unable to do so.
So she sat up in the bed and stretched her arms over head. She climbed out of the bed and decided to go find Soran where ever he was and tell him about her dream.
She wondered out of the room and down the halls, peaking into the rooms, but no where she looked did she find Soran.
"Hmmph..." she said softly, looking around. "Where is he?"

It was Blade that finally got her out of bed. She fed and washed him and herself, then she gloomily made her way downstairs. She looked for Siren, still contemplating on whether to send Blade away or not. But.. she had to...right?
She walked out to the porch, saw Rai trying to find Soran . It sent Mizuki into even deeper spirits. She heard Siren's soft breathing to her left, she was sleeping soundly.
"Siren..." she said softly, trying to wake her.
