Elena smiled at him slightly. "I'm tired... so I think I'll just go to sleep," she said softly, pulling back the covers. "Good night..."
It was a signal that he could go to his room if he wanted.
She covered herself in the covers, forgetting the fact she had an elegant gown on. She pulled the covers up over her shoulders and curled up on her side, falling a sleep almost instantly.

"Well... good night," Lann whispred walking out the door. A chilling breeze went over her body as the words floated across her and into her ear.
Lann closed the door behind him. He stood in the hall a moment thinking. After a moment he made his way back to the dining room to speak with the Airis.
Lann fought back his feelings for Elena. He couldn't allow himself to get to involved with her. He would have to kill her before long and he can't let crzy feelings cloud his judgement.

Elena was a sleep, but not for long. She kept waking up off and on, rolling over... Flopping. Trying to do anything she could to get comfortable. It's not that the bed wasn't comfortable, it was just the fact she couldn't sleep.
She sighed, staring up at the ceiling.
"Airen..." she whispered to the night. "How could you..." She tried to hold back tears, but her heart was breaking.
Had he ever kissed her like that? With so much passion? She couldn't remember. She probably could if her heart wasn't in so many pieces.

Lann awoke to a palace of disarray. Maids were squandering here and there trying to keep up with everything. Worshipers stood in the worship hall awaiting the arrival of their lord.
Airis didn't come out much anymore. People rarely saw him as of late. Damien had left the palace for some unknown reason. Seryth was still here waiting to see what was so great about the long awaited Gargon.
These had been a strange past six months. As for Lann, he had been trying to stay clear of everyone, especially Elena. He didn't really understand it. She seemed to be warming up to him so well, Then all of a sudden she's bititng everyones heads off.
Lann rose out of his bed and went to the bathroom. After washing his face he made his way to the dining hall trying to avoid contact with anyone.
He pushed the doors open and to his surprise he saw Airis. "Good morning," he said with a nod. Airis returned the nod but didn't speak.
Lann took a seat and waited to be served. A young lady with long black hair finally gave him his breakfast. Him and Airis sat in silence as they ate.

Elena sat in silence, staring out her window. Her hands were folded over in her lap, propped on the belly she had now. She would describe it in one way. "Fat," she muttered as she looked down.
She put a hand to her stomach.
"How are you doing this morning, Luther?" she asked.
He had stopped talking to her for a while. She missed that comforting presence around her. Or having someone to talk to when she was sad. But, maybe she had been delusional... Imagening the voice.
"Hmm..." she mused, leaning back and closing her eyes for a moment. "Hungry..."
She had to push up three times before she could actually stand. She felt like a bolder. A large bolder. That was heavy and unattractive. But, in truth, she wasn't that big at all. She only looked four months, instead of the eight. But, to her, she might not fit through the door in a few days.
Elena glanced down at the ring on her hand... She closed her eyes for a moment and took it off. It had been eight months... and he hadn't showed up. Hadn't done anything.
"Why did you have to make me this way... If you never intended to stay... Bastard...." she left the room, wondering down to the dinning room.
She had become a good navigator and now knew most of her way around. Though, she wasn't allowed in some parts of the temple.
The door opened and she wondered into the room, looking around.

Lann saw her enter. Even now Elena was as beautiful as ever. He pulled her a chair out next to him.
"Good morning, beautiful," he said with a kind face. "Would you care to join us?"
Airis looked at Lann with disgust. He hated the way Lann acted around Elena. He knew Lann something strange up his sleeve and it was only a matter of time before it was revealed.

Elena sighed and looked at the table. "I'm not hungry..." she said softly, leaning back in her chair. She sighed, looking over the table.
She always seemed to have a sad expression on her face. Eversince she had seen Airen kissing... And now eight months had passed. She seemed to grow more and more depressed with everyday that passed.
She didn't eat nearly enough, which was probably why she didn't look more than five months pregnant.
