Lore: Searching: Part 3 (mature)
Mitsukai blinked. She had never thought of it at all, like THAT.
"I'm afraid... I don't entirely understand." She said in a whisper. This man meserized her. Just his entire speech made her see him differently, even though that demon on his shoulder frightened her. But then again, she had been brought up to hate them.

(OOC: Okay about the god stuff, if you need help or ideas you know where to find me, and if you make it idfferent than what Locaille said, than he was just wrong.)

“Me? I am the balancer, I am the median, I am the eternal judge, of everything, and frankly, there have been times where I am the only reason this world is still in existence. However, I am subtle, in my work, mysterious at times. Frankly, what I ‘do’, while you are off on your ultimately futile and amazingly shortsighted little quest, is protect you all from everything.
“You say you protect Mitsukai from evil? Ha! You clearly have no idea of anything that even relates to angelic society, or you would know that YOU are the evil that plagues her. Angels, when banished, are meant to go into exile, by simply being within a two mile radius of Mitsukai, YOU are the one subjecting her to the various trials and tribulations she is going through.
Locaille sighed as his shoulders bowed downwards heavily. “I grow weary of this persistent sunlight. I am returning to my Lair, you may follow if you wish, and if not, farewell. IT stairs.” It rose upwards quickly and formed into an extremely steep staircase rising to the top of the tower. “Oh, if you intend to follow, one of you is going to have to carry the little angel girl, or she could just fly, but IT will not tolerate having her on his back.” Locaille said as he turned and began climbing up the stairs.

(OOC: Eh, if we ever getting around to figuring it out. I'll PM you so you can just edit the posts.)
Leydon nodded and sighed. "Might as well," he said and traced a rune, making himself float. He went up the stairs after the group of people. "Are you sure you don't want me to repair that wing?" he offered to Mitsukai.

Locaille paused shortly, raising his left hand and pointing upwards before beginning to talk.
“You poor little thing,
You’ve hurt your wing,
No need to fret emotionally,
It will all heal eventually,
But eventually for an Angel,
May leave your friends to dangle,
So if you will I have a tome
Deep within my Underground Home,
That can help you to fly again,
And with nary of bit of pain.”
Locaille’s poem came to an abrupt end as he walked down the curving stairs deep into the tower, humming softly to himself. It clung to his shoulder, swaying and humming in time as well.

"I think he can help." Mitsukai whispered to him after she gently kissed his cheek.
A part of him wanted to tell her that she was wrong, that Locaille only wanted her to think he could help, and that they should just leave. Another part of him wanted to trust her because he knew he should trust her.
"Well," he said, "I guess so. Just as long as that pet of his doesn't try to bite your hand off again."
He smiled and returned her kiss.

(OOC hope you don’t mind that I speed some things up so we get there sooner, no need to go through every detail of the way down here right?)

“Worry not my darlings, I can do all that I say that I can, unless I can’t, of course.” He said softly before laughing silently. “Ah, here we are.” He added as he rounded a corner, the pathway opening onto a large chasm with a single small bridge extending to the other side, some fifty feet away. Locaille strode swiftly over the incredibly thin bridge, reaching the other side shortly and turning to see whether or not his ‘guests’ were going to cross as well.

Skye followed Locaille across the bridge. It was incredibly thin, and it took him a while to make it across. When he did, he gently set Mitsukai down and kept an arm protectively around her.
"So, what CAN you do?" Skye asked Locaille, refering to when he stated that he could do all that he said he could.
