Soran crossed his arms and watched the girls crawl into the mess of sticks. The hole was just big enough for him to fit, but he didn't see the intrigue of crawling through a pile of sticks. At the same time, it didn't strike him as a particularly dangerous activity, so he let Rai do as she pleased. As long as she didn't follow the tunnel underwater, it didn't seem to matter, and he saw no reason why Rai would.
Inside, Mayn continued crawling until they came to a place where the tunnel opened up into a kind of tiny room, probably where the beavers had resided when the dam was active. The area was just tall enough for Mayn to stand up and walk in a slight crouch. In the corner of the 'room' sat her fancy circular mirror, which she went to and picked up. "Well, do you like it?" she asked Rai. A trace of a ruefull smirk was on her lips, but at the same time she was really proud of the place she'd discovered.

Mizuki smiled at Tensho and resisted a giggle at Siren's remark.
"If anything Rai probably conned poor Soran into playing with her." She joked with a fondness in her voice. She set Blade down on the couch in the living room and the blob wiggled down her arm and sat above Blade on the couch. Blade cooed at the dark blob and it stretched itself down towards Blade. It made a sound like it was cooing to the small baby.
Oddly enough, Mizuki felt no threat towards the blob. Maybe it was because it was so small, or that it was really harmless.

Siren watched Tensho, still curious about his demeanor, as he walked around with the blade. Something about it unnerved her, but it was Soran's friend, and he wouldn't leave Mizuki with someone he thought was off.
"It must be very important to you," she said as casually as possible. She still didn't really know what had happened that night Soran went off and met this man, other than that the sword had been their goal.

Tensho nodded. "Of course," he said. "This was one of the things that were stolen when bandits broke into my house," he explained. "My parents had been killed by them, leaving me on my own. I had hired Soran to come with me to retrieve it." When he began the explanation, he had continued moving around, swinging the blade as if he was testing the balance on the katana. Somewhere around the point he mentioned his parents, he changed the angle of his swing so that he would be able to hit the back of Siren's head with the flat of the blade.
from all she had heard about this parents being killed stuff, Siren was very glad she could say she had at least a dozen pairs of what she would consider parents left.
She shrugged and shook her head slightly, unable to fully comprehend it because of the way she was raised and how she was taught to treat death. She could understand the alone part though.

(OOC: Ah oops, I worded it like that in case you wanted to react. Anyway...)
As soon as the ninja noticed that he was in Siren's blind spot, he quickly brought the blade down with the flat angled at the back of her skull. Siren seemed like she was the stronger of the two that he was with, it was logical for him to take her out first.

mizuki jerked her head in the direction of Siren just in time to see her fall to the floor with Tensho behind her. It didn't take Mizuki more than two seconds to realize tensho had knocked her out with the way he held the sword.
"What did you do?" she stated in a mix of shock and fury. Her impulse was to fetch Blade and run, but she hesitated. Instead she stared at Tensho with her fists up and ready to fight him.
