Soran stepped off the porch and met the frantic girl as she ran up to the house. "Hold still," he told her calmly, catching her and briskly brushing the ants - only a few were actually causing the problem - off her legs and arms, then shook out her skirt. He looked her over, saw one more, brushed it off, and then seemed satisfied that she was cured. Looking at the tiny red spots around her ankles where she'd been bitten, he ruffled her hair slightly and said "Siren's probably got something for those." Probably has some bizarre side effect, too, he thought dreadingly

Mizuki, even though it was possibly rude, giggled at Rai's scene. She felt bad that the little girl was attacked by ants, but the bites could easily be cured.

"Poor girl.." she said to herself and she then heard Blade crying upstairs so she went inside and ran up the steps to him.

"It itches!" she told Soran, scratching away. She then tried to balance on one foot and hold her other foot in the air so Soran could see it. "Scratch it!!"

Up in the room Soran had set Blade down to sleep in, Mizuki picked up the crying baby and adjusted herself to feed him. He suckle away as Mizuki listened to the sounds of the house and her own thoughts.

Soran eyed the child's foot skeptically, deciding to stick Mizuki with this new calamity. When he turned to find her, however, she was no longer on the porch. Instead, he took Rai inside to Siren, who was in the kitchen. "Siren wants to scratch your feet," Soran said into Rai's ear with a sly glance at Siren.

Rai looked a bit disshoveled with mud and dirt and grass all over her and red ant bites on her dirty feet. She sat in a chair next to Siren and grinned. "You want to scratch? It itches!"

"S-Scratch?" Siren was taken off-guard. "Scratch what?" She asked warily, looking the girl over. "You need a bath more than scratching!"

"Will that make the itching go away?" she asked Siran showing her the red dots on her ankles that were from where the ants bit her.

"Ooh, that doesn't look like fun! Hmm, well definately don't itch it! That'll just make it worse. A nice warm bath might make it feel better." Siren looked her over again, "I sort of wonder if we shouldn't take a hose to you first though!"

She looked at Soran, smiling but understanding that Rai was being dumped on her for the duration of the itchyness.

Rai giggled and ran around then stopped. She held out her hands and made a cute confused expression. "I don't know where she bath room is..." she said, and laughed.

"Hah... that's a good point! Let's explore a little then, shall we? It should be upstairs." Siren held out her hand to Rai and smiled, preparing to run up the stairs with her.

Rai held Siren's hand with her muddy one and laughed, trying to pull Siren up the steps. The little girl had mud clods and grass all in her hair, she really needed a good scrubbing.

(OOC: Sorry bout not posting in a while, I was slacking off again ^^;;;)

Tensho spent some time wandering around town before heading back to the house he was now staying in. He walked in just as Siren and Rai were about to run up the stairs to look for a bath. "Hey," he called out to everyone in the room. He waved with his right arm, which he happily noted was free of all infection and pain.

Rai was about to run up the stairs when she stopped and waved back. "Hello!" the dirty little girl said and giggled. "We're going to look for a bath room. Want to come?"

Mizuki had finished feeding Blade when she heard everyone near the stairs. With her son in her arms, cooing affectionatly, she went to meet them.

"Hey, what's everyone doing?" she called down to them from the top.
