The rogue walked on stone-faced, not responding to what was behind him until he came to a kiosk that was selling fried noodles with bits of pork and vegetable. He spoke to the attendant for a moment, and she took out a folded crate made of thick paper, which she filled with noodles, closed and handed to Soran. The rogue paid for the food and turned to find Rai next to him. His hard gaze opened somewhat as he gave her a nod and began walking homeward.

Siren looked over at Soran, who had apparently decided that the shopping trip was over, and, with a final look at the woman and the two men, who were obviously wondering if it was worth it anymore, she turned on her heal and jogged off after Soran. She decided it was none of her concern and Tensho could decide the woman's fate if he wanted to.

(OOC: Oh sure, leave it to Tensho to decide her fate *sticks tongue at Siren*)
Tensho just smiled at the woman and mouthed "Good luck," to her, before following the rest of the group. Chances are she wouldn't be hurt too badly, or at least not killed, if she didn't resist. This incident might teach the woman a lesson anyway.

Mizuki had fallen asleep on the couch with the ring still in her hand. After awhie of staring at it, she concluded that it possibly had belonged to some nobleman or woman. They either lost it, threw it away in a fit of anger, or something else. But while probing her mind for whatever answer, trying to use more of her untapped seer powers, she fell tired and lazily walked to the couch where she now slept. With confusing dreams of some type of tragedy revolving around the ring.
Meanwhile,
Blade drooled in his sleep on Soran while they walked.

The group finally made it back to the house. Soran opened the front door and walked in, finding Mizuki peacefully asleep on the couch. He watched her for a moment as the others came in. Walking past her, he put the box of noodles in front of her face where the smell would wake her up before putting everyone's clothes in the next room. He took his own and brought them upstairs to change out of the wet pants he was wearing.

Rai stayed outside playing in the grass by running around in circles for no reason. She missed Toby, because he used to chase her around and maul at her in a way that tickled.

Mizuki's nose twitched from an intoxicating aroma. Her eyes blinked open and she sat up on the couch rubbing her eyes.
"Eh, what?" she questioned, staring at the steaming box in front of her. She raised her brow then realized they must be home, and she's not dressed. She stood up and went upstairs to her own room. She noticed one of the doors closed and, not being able to resist, she bit her lip and knocked. Just to make sure if anyone was back.

Siren Sat outside the house in the branches of the tree, her feet dangling, watching Rai run around and taking the time to relax and let the wind breathe through her feathers and hair. They hadn't managed to buy supplies for the house yet, but that could wait till Soran was in a less agitated mood.

Soran, who was bringing a black shirt over his head and wearing nothing else as a knock came from outside, shot his green eyes toward the door alertly. "..Yes?" he called, bringing the shirt down over his waist without taking his eyes from the door, which had no lock.

"S-Soran?" came Mizuki's voice from the other side. "So you are home!" She smiled. "Was Blade good for you?"

"Yes," Soran answered. He pulled on underwear, then added "He was speaking complete sentences to me."

"He was asking for you. Said he wanted to go 'home'," Soran said, suddenly in front of her as he opened the door and stepped out of the room fully clothed. The word 'home' had an odd sound to the rogue, as if it didn't belong on his lips. He stared at Mizuki strangely for a second, then said "Food when you're done," guessing she'd come up to do something, and walked past her toward the stairs.

Mizuki gave him a nervous smile as she got a strange feeling from him.
OOC: I'm guessing Soran put Blade down?
Mizuki looked into the room to see Blade sleeping and smiled again. She looked to Soran's retreating back then went to her own room to change back into her tubetop and miniskirt.

Soran reached the bottom of the stairs, trying to justify why his puse had just been racing. He looked back over his shoulder at the empty hallway. He lived here. They lived here, also, and that would work well. He didn't want to believe that he would never be able to eliminate the icelike uncertainty that slid its cold fingers around his chest every time he dared to consider these people and this place secure.
But even as he kept them close to him, he knew he was also holding them slightly away, avoiding the ever-present threat of real intimacy that he perceived as inexplicably fatal. He approached it, tested it, came close enough to touch it, but ultimately always kept his distance. Except, with Mizuki, lately, he didn't want to. And for all his careful defenses, it was scaring the shit out of him.
Digging into the bags they'd brought from their journey through the forest, he got out their plates and forks. He served some out onto his plate and then walked to the door. "There's food in here," he called out to Rai and Tensho, then looked up to Siren on the roof. "It's self-serve," he added, stepping out onto the porch and leaning against the side of the house, his weight on one leg with the other crossed over it.
