LORE: A Barmaid's Grief
Kymia gazed silently over the horse, sizing him up. She nibbled her lip and spun towards Avera, "I like him." Just as Kaiteki, Kymia could no longer resist. She stepped forward and started stroking the stud's nose. He had beautiful soulful eyes. He looked spirited yet gentle. Kymia instantly began thinking of names. She smiled girlishly at her new found friend.

In the office, while signing the papers, Kymia constantly thought about names for the stud. None seemed right and she kept crossing them off her mental list. She finally decided on Righteous. It fit him perfect. Majestic. The last paper was signed and Kymia grabbed her basket and jacket. "So, is that it?" She gazed at Avera for a response, smiling from ear to ear.

Zach finally settled on the house and paid what money he owed. The man took it greedily and gave him the keys to the house. He was just taking them from his hands when he heard a distant yelling.
At first Zach thought to ignore it, since that was what he would normally do. But, something was bothering him. What if it was his sister? It was coming from where Avera worked...
Zach walked quickly in that direction, tucking the keys into his pocket as he turned the corner.
The yells grew louder and he soon found that it was the voice of a woman.
"No! Its mine you can't have it!" the woman said tugging on a bag that another man was pulling on. "Its mine!"
"I don't care! I need the money more than you."
Zach stood there for a moment, but he couldn't allow this needless violence to continue. Especially if a woman was in danger.
He ran forward, but wasn't fast enough. The theif had pulled his dagger and plunged it into the girl, taking her bag from her as she fell to the ground and he ran away.
Zach ran forward and caught her as she fell, laying her gently on the ground. "Someone help!"

Kymia was in the asle between the stables at the front doors. She saw the specticul. The girl screamed and she saw a man catch her and lay her on the ground. She did not pay attention to who this man was. She was half-way to the girl in a sprinte. "Move back!" she exclaimed as she skidded to the ground next to the girl. "Give her room."
Kymia worked fast. She cleared away the torn clothes that covered her ripped shoulder. "It's gonna be okay," Kymia soothed," You're gonna be fine."
Kymia's heartstrings were pulled as she saw the girl start to cry. The girl boo-whooed. Kymia placed her hand on the girl's wounded shoulder. She became woozey. The ground seemed to drop from under her. Thunder seemed to roll in the distance and lightening poped. Her eyes opened instantly with the pain in her own joints. Her hand dropped and the girl sat up. Kymia kneeled beside her patient, limp. She needed water. Her strength returned to her and she looked around paniced. Her eyes were wild and wide. She looked scared out of her skin. "Water. I need water."

Kaiteki had quickly followed the girls out to the wounded woman. Since there was nothing he could do to help, as he didn't know what to do, and it seemed that Kymia had enough help if she needed it, he decided to run after the thief.
"I'll see if I can track down that thief," he said, walking at a fast pace. "Y'all take care of her!"
Then, he broke into a run, confident that he would catch the thief and get the woman's bag back.

After the cool water ran down her hot, cottony throat, Kymia felt a whole lot better. She raised a shaking hand and brushed back a strand of hair that had fallen in her face. She looked at the girl sitting in front of her. She was staring at her in amazment. "What did you do to me?"
Zach responds to the confused girl,"She healed you, of course. Are you okay, now?"
"Yes," She says, moving back the shoulder of her tatter shirt,"I believe so. Thank you so much!" she runs off in the direction Kaiteki went. "Maybe I can help him."
Kymia eased to her feet. "Man, I hate when that happens. I guess I best be going home now. I've had enough excitment for the day," she looks in the direction of Avera and Zach," Ya'll are brother and sister, right?"

Avera looked at Zach and smiled. She was glad that Kimya connected them. "Yeah, we claim each other most of the time," she jested.
"Zach, help our new friend to the stable. I'm sure she wouldn't mind the company," she said with a wink to the unsuspecting Kimya. "I've got some work piling up on me," she explained as she thought of the newly-named Righteous and all of his paperwork and stable things that needed to be gathered up and organized. She was glad the Kimya had been there that morning, but now the poor girl might be late for work.
I'm sure I could help her out... If she even needs it...

Aidan walked into the office and saw a lovely young woman behind the counter. She seemed to be alone.
He stepped inside the door and said politely,"Good morning! I'm looking for a place to earn a little money. I was wondering if y'all could use an extra hand."
She raised her head and looked at him for a moment. "I'll have to check and see," she replied.
At this moment another young lady enetered the room behind him. He greeted her with a warm smile,"Good morning!"

Avera had been walking around in a world of her own, thinking about Kimya's horse and its paperwork.
"Good morning!" she heard a warm, deep voice say. Looking up, she saw the source of the voice... and her breath caught. Immediately, her eyes flashed to his dark brown eyes. They semed to see right through her, so she cleared her throat and turned her head toward the girl without moving her body. "Morning," she responded in a low voice, even though she wasn't looking at him anymore.
"Look, I need all of the paperwork that we've got on that horse that was bought this morning, o.k?"

Aidan scanned the girl over. She was very gorgeous and had the most beautiful eyes he had ever seen. He smiled again and made his way towards the door.
" I'll just come back in a little bit," he said to the girl behind the counter.
He nodded bye to both of the young women and exited the office. When he got outside he made his way over towards the stables to look at the horses.

After chasing down the thief and getting the woman's bag back, Kaiteki handed it to her and told her to be more careful. He asked if her wound was alright, and she said it was fine.
Thank goodness for Kymia, he thought.
He walked back to the stables, slightly proud of himself for doing a good deed. He wondered if Kymia had left yet, as he wanted to congratulate her for helping the woman with her stab wound. He would have never been able to do that.
Walking back into the stables, he noticed a new face. "Good morning," he greeted the stranger and walked into the office with Avera and the rest of them.
