Tensho threw a mock glare at the Dark Angel woman and took her hand, letting go of Rai's, then with a grin, he pulled her down on top of him, cushioning her fall, then with a slight shift of weight, slid out from under her and gave her a mouthful of grass to munch on. He stood up with a wide grin.

Siren gasped as the man tugged her forward, then spat as grass was shoved in her mouth, sitting up quickly and trying to get the nasty taste out of her mouth. She looked at Soran skeptically, then glared at the man, still spitting out some grass.

"Stupid human," she muttered, making an unhappy growling noise as she stood herself up, dusted the grass off, and, flicking her hair back over her shoulder with a "hmph," walked past the offender with her head held high, trying to maintain her pride.

Tensho's smile turned almost apologetic as the Dark Angel seemed annoyed at what he did. Walking after her, he quickly said, "Sorry, about that. Couldn't help myself" which was accompanied with a nervous laugh.

Rai ran back to Soran, seeing that Tencho was busy playing with Siren. She skipped up to his side, hugging his leg for a moment, almost tripping him. "Can weh have noodles? I like noodles... noodles sounds funny..." The little half-elf girl giggled and said the world over and over again as she bounced up and down.

"That can be arranged," Soran commented on the noodles, not missing the skeptical glare Siren threw at him. They soon approached a linen store, which Soran entered. A stern, yet awkward demeanor seemed to fall over him once he entered the store. He didn't care for buying clothes, but it had to be done. "If you see something you like, let me know," he told Rai and Siren. "I'm going to replace this," he gestured to his trenchcoat full of knife holes, and began heading toward the corner of the store, where the tailor had already seen him and disappeared into a storage room for something.

Rai giggled and ran off through the store, Soran's long sleeves hanging over her hands and slapping things as she moved quickly with her arms. She looked at all the pretty dresses in the store, but all of them looked sooo big to her. She ran around in circles trying to find something she might be able to where, but everything on the side of the room she was on was to big, and she was to short to see over the racks and tables to notice that all her clothes were on the other side of the room.

Blade cooed more and more and watched his surroundings intently as they changed. He sucked his thumb and watched Soran intently with curious green eyes.

"Daadee, go home?" Blade said after awhile. His curiosity wore out and he was bored.

Rai giggled and ran around a rack of clothes, tripping over a pile of folded ones and sliding across the floor with a thud and ripping sound. She got up, because the fall didn't hurt at all and she looked down. The front of Soran's shirt had a big hole in it where her knee had gone through when falling because the shirt was just to big for her.

"Uh-oh..." she said, lifting the shirt up and peeking through the hole seeing Soran's head in veiw. She dove behind a pile of clothes so he couldn't see her hole in his shirt.

She decided to try and find Siren or someone, to help her head Soran's shirt from him...
She began to sneek behind the racks of clothes, still unable to see if she was going in the direction of anyone she knew.

She walked out of the row of racks right behind Soran and tipped toed behind him and kept on, even when she felt the pull on the shirt and the ripping sound. She froze and looked down at the huge whole that had been made and the long strip of fabric attached to a nail hanging off a table. "Oops..."

Siren, still giving Tensho the silent treatment, followed after Soran and Rai into the clothing store, coming in just in time to hear Soran basically say he'd buy her clothes. Her eyes sparkled and she forgot her annoyance as she hurried into the store and twirrled around the fabric isles, wondering if they had any clothing that would suit her winged needs.

OOC: I fixed my avatar! except for the eyes... which won't happen. the editing program is just too fickle to deal with my trying to change the eye color.. I'll have to find a new free program and do that later =p till then, enjoy Sirenbouncygirl #2!

Tensho pouted, constantly trying to get Siren to talk to him. However, it looked like she forgot about him when she heard Soran's offer. Shrugging, he headed into the clothing store, figuring he should find something to replace the shirt he was now wearing. The right sleeve of his tunic was now in shreds thank to the knife trap, and the rest of his clothing was also filled with holes.

Soran was waiting for the tailor to come back out of his storeroom. He knew what the tailor was doing; getting a coat for him. Unfortunately, it wasn't a rare occurance for the rogue to show up with himself (and his clothing) full of holes, and so the shopkeeper kept his size on hand. Soran was waiting when Blade's small voice broke in on his thoughts.

"Daadee, go home?"

The rogue's green eyes shot down to the child sharply, and stared as if something had just slapped him. "What?" he murmured almost too low to be heard, sitting Blade facing him on top of the tailor's desk without taking his eyes off him.

The tailor walked back out of the storage closet and approached him with his coat, but hesitated as the rogue seemed transfixed on the toddler in front of him. "Mister Nightblade, I have your coat," he interrupted uncomfortably, though what he was interrupting, he had no idea.

"Sentence," Soran said thoughtfully without looking away from Blade, apparently in disbelief. "That was a sentence." After a moment of awkward silence, the tailor flinched slightly when Soran suddenly straightened and took the coat with a curt nod, collecting Blade into the same arm as he made his way back toward the other side of the store.

He paused as he noticed a tan form creeping alongside one of the display stands. "What are you doing?" he called Rai out knowingly from the other side of the stand.

Siren looked at the various clothes in the store, trying to find something that would work well for her. She had found a pair of brown hide pants that would be comfortable to wear around the house, since her somewhat protective leather was tedious to wear all the time for relaxed purposes, comfortable as it was. She found socks to replace the ones that were wearing thin under her boots too, but so far she saw no shirts that would suit her needs.

She looked over at Soran to make sure he was still busy, then continued on her search.

Blade smiled at the attention he was being given by Soran. He cooed and clung to Soran as he was swept up and started talking again.

"Daadee, go home momee." he said and sucked his thumb again while watching Soran. He loved getting attention from his "father". "Want momee!" he giggled and poked Soran's chest.

Rai quickly turned her back to him and tried to cover the hole in his shirt. "Nothing..." she said, though the way she said it condemned herself.

Tensho searched through a few racks of clothing before pulling out a few simple tunics without any frills on them. He had no idea how the upper class could stand wearing all the fancy stuff that they did.
