Bejei smiled at her playful nature. He swammed after he until he floated in the water beside her.

"I don't know Mia." He glanced around, looking at the water then Mia. "What do you like about me?" It was a random question, but he wanted to know.

Mia continued to float, staring at the stars and breathing evenly. "What do I like about you?" she asked herself.

"I don't like you," she said seriously and then waited a long moment before replying. "I love you... but I don't know what I love about... I guess I love everything?" she asked.

Bejei laughed at bit a her replied. He doubted she loved everything about him. He figured she didn't love him killing people or him turning into the evil Bejei. He wondered how long she would put up with him until she left him for good because of the evil spirit.

"Heh... I bet you don't love me killing people." He replied. "You know what I love about you.... your kind heart and your innocence."

He swammed behind Mia and wrapped his arms around her. He glanced into the skies and wondered when their happiness would end... He hoped it wouldn't.

Mia smiled. "Innocence?" she asked, leaning her head back. She yawned slightly, feeling warm, even if she was wet, in his embrace.

"Getting tired yet?" she asked him softly.

"I'm not tired at all unless you are?" Bejei leaned his head against her left shoulder while whispering into her ear.

He thought about asking Mia a very important and life alterating question, but he held it back for fear of the evil spirit. He didn't want to jump the gun just yet, and maybe, he needed time to sleep on it before asking her so he decided to ask her something else.

"What happened in the clearing today between you and I? I rememered what happened, but I just want to see what you think." All he remembered was talking to her and holding her hand.

Mia swallowed and stared up at the stars for a long moment. She thought about whether to tell him or not. She thought about it for a moment and finally decided that he diserved to know.

"I know his name," she said softly. "The evil spirit... His name is Bolrock... and he said he would kill you if I didn't agree to be his Queen... So I did."

"What?!!" Bejei couldn't believe what he was hearing. So the memory he had at the clearing was nothing but mere false images. The evil spirit must have implanted it in him so he wouldn't know the truth. "Why didn't you tell me earlier?!"

Bejei released his grip from Mia as he floated behind her. His anger rosed gradually, but it was focused at the evil spirit and not his beloved Mia. He knew she probably didn't tell him because it threatened to kill him.

"That bastard! I will... kill... Ahhhh!!!!" He held his head as a tremendous amount of pain surfaced within it. He grimaced violently as he gribbed his head, but the pain kept on growing.

Mia turned around and watched him worriedly when he scream. "What? Bejei! What is it!" she yelled to him, her eyes shocked with fear.

Was the evil spirit killing Bejei now?! Was it killing him!

"Mia!!!! Get... out of here..." Bejei yelled at the top of his lungs before the shaking and squirming stopped, leaving him with his hands on his head.

He gazed up at her with those eerie crimson eyes followed by a devilish smile. "My queen... you've been very naughty. You told him our arrangement, and now you will have to be punish." He reached out and grabbed her by the arms.

Mia cried out in terror when she saw the crimson orbs. She tried swimming backwards quickly, but he caught her arm. She brought her hand around and punched him in the face to try and get away. She didn't want to hurt Bejei, but she didn't want Bolrock to hurt her either.

"No! Let me go!" she yelled, splashing water into his eyes.

Bolrock was hit right in the cheek by Mia's punch, but it only tilted his head backwards slightly. It didn't have the effect she wanted, and before he could retaliated, the water splashed into his eyes, forcing him to release his grip on Mia.

"Damn you!" He covered his eyes while reaching out, trying to grab Mia.

Mia turned and swam as fast as she could, panicing. She swam hard and fast, but not as fast as she would have gone had she been calm. She glanced back constantly to see how close he was behind her. She would yell when he would come close to grabbing her.

"Stay away!"

Bejei was a great swimmer, and it seemed Bolrock retained his swimming abilities as he closed the distance between Mia and him. Several attempts in grabbing her failed, but when they reached the shore, he grabbed a hold of Mia's right foot.

"Gotcha... you'll be punish for telling Bejei about us. I will make you mine!" He gradually began to pull her towards him.

She he pulled her backwards she gasped, sucking in a hole lot of water and choking. She gasped and coughed and choked, grabbing on to the sandy bottom to try and pull herself away from him, but it did no good.

He would surely drown her! She was going to drown because he was going to try and punish her and go over-board...

Bolrock could sense he was drowning Mia, but he didn't care since she went back on their deal. He eventually knew if she died then he wouldn't be able to bring his minions into the world. He quickly grabbed Mia by the waist and pulled her out of the water.

"Still alive?" He replied while carrying Mia out of the water and onto land. "Take a little rest." He laid her onto her back while he glared at her.
