"Yes," Vlad cried out loud, his body jerking as he skidded too close to his limit. He watched his wife and his ecstatic male lover through half-lidded eyes. "Yes... hah...yes!"

Tenele wrapped her lips mercilessly around Atul and sucked. She gave him everything she had, moving her mouth over him, up and down and sucking as hard as she could. Atul huffed, and then he groaned, and finally he growled. That growl transformed into a gasping cry. His body rocked as he came and Tenele took all that he offered. She drew back, sitting on her legs. She dragged the back of her hand across her mouth with a sheepish smile.

Tenele crawled forward and draped her naked body across the King, curling her hands around his waist as she rested her head on his chest. "Do you approve?" she asked Atul softly, licking his chest tenderly.

Atul could barely form words. "I approve," he choked, still buzzing from his release. He kissed the top of her head.

For Vlad, watching Atul's face as he came was his breaking point. The vampire twisted onto his back and gasped as his orgasm released in strong spurts across his stomach and chest. He closed his eyes to try to pull his mind back into one piece while he lay there panting. Nothing mattered, nothing even existed beyond this bed for him at the moment.

Tenele cuddled Atul, snuggling up to the King. He draped his strong arms around her shoulders and tilted his lips towards her ear. "I was half hoping you'd make me act on my threat," he whispered softly to her. "But, maybe next time..."

Tenele shivered with a smile. "Maybe," she admitted.

She glanced to her husband. "I feel so lucky," she told the two of them. "I feel so loved."

Atul's grip tightened. "You are loved beyond reason," he told her.

Several minutes passed with the three of them recovering in bed. Tenele's body still buzzed with what Vlad had done, and feeling his second release through their link. She was content to stay put as long as possible.

"Whose going to court today?" Atul asked Vlad, arching an eyebrow. "I feel well enough. If you leave me here alone with Tenele I'll probably spend the day making love to her. So, I better go to court."

Tenele shivered at the idea, but kept her mouth shut.

"Are you sure your strength has returned?" Vlad asked, his skeptical tone muted by his euphoric state.

Atul smiled. "Of course," he sighed. He could lie either way, he wasn't really sure if he could handle it all day or not. He hadn't exactly tested his endurance for court lately. But, he thought if he could handle sex, he could handle sitting in a chair all day. Part of him wanted to stay in bed with Tenele all day. He pressed his lips to the top of her head.

Tenele kissed the King's chest. "If you go, please don't push yourself..."

Atul smiled. "I will call it an early day if I grow tired."

"In that case, I will use my secret network to ensure you are overworked," Vlad muttered dreamily.

The waves crashed against the shore, splashing up along the beach and around where Tenara stood on the sand. She screamed before fading into a fit of giggles and running the very short distance back to where Tenele knelt in the sand. The little girl wrapped her arms around Tenele's neck.

Tenele hugged her daughter tightly before setting her back on her feet and watching as she chased after Stalker across the soft sands. The Queen's Maiden turned her gaze back to Atul's vacation hut and then to her daughter.

Tenara was still small for a child at the age of three, but she was lively and spunky. She was also entirely too brave for Tenele's liking. She had long silver hair that turned into small waves at the end, and bright blue eyes. She had a lot of Vlad's looks, a mix of Atul's. She was beautiful.

Tenara giggled at Stalker as he flopped into the sand. She laid down next to him, snuggling into his fur. Both covered in sand.

Vlad opened the door to the back deck and crept bravely out into the molten sunlight, his cotton pants billowing in the sea breeze. He squinted across the sands and grinned at the sight of the love of his life and their young daughter playing. It was unfortunate that Atul had been called off on urgent business after they'd planned this outing for Tenara's birthday, but he had to admit he was enjoying having her all to himself.

At least, in the night time. He winced into the harsh glare and ventured across the wooden deck, descending the steps to the beach quite gracefully for one who could barely see. "Are you taking good care of Stalker?" he smiled at his only child as he approached.

Tenara peeked up from Stalker's fur at her father. She grinned and gave Stalker a tight hug, as much of him as she could gather in the small span of her arms. "Woof," she giggled.

Tenara clamoured up from the earth and went to her father, wrapping her hands in his pants. She smiled up at him, big and bright. "Daddy," she mused.

Tenele smiled at her husband, standing to dust off her knees and walk back to him. "Are you hungry?" Tenele asked Tenara, bending just to look the little girl in the eyes

Her daughter nodded vigorously, tugging on her father's pants. She lifted her arms up towards her father, the universal signal for wanting to be carried.

Vlad grinned down at her. "Perfect, I'm in need of a sun hat," he teased. Gentle hands reached down and scooped her into his strong arms, then hoisted her over his head. "What would you two like for lunch?"

Tenara laughed, holding out her arms. "Cake!" she replied enthusiastically.

"Cake?" Tenele scowled. "How about a sandwich?"

"Aww," Tenara frowned. "Cake...." she whispered down to her dad, poking his head.

Tenele laughed. "Sandwich and then cake."

Tenara began humming to her father a little song that the Atul's palace maids taught her. It was her favorite song. She had a song she hummed when she was happy, and a song she hummed when she was scared.

Vlad lifted his gaze to Tenara and winked at her. "Sandwich," he whispered back with a smirk. He rested her on his shoulders and felt her tiny hands wrap around his forehead for balance. He put his hands around her ankles as they trekked back toward the house, joining her familiar song in a whisper-quiet baritone harmony. The vampire hadn't sung since his life as a human, until it had become part of his bond with his daughter.

Tenele walked a head of her two favorite people and went straight to the kitchen where she made them sandwiches. She brought three out and placed them on the dining table, and poured three glasses of water, just encase Vlad wanted to fake it a little for his daughter's benefit. Not that she didn't realize her father was different from humans...

Vlad smiled at Tenele as the sandwich was set before him. He'd grown fond of his habit of taking part in Tenele, Atul, and Tenara's meals. He loved that they never questioned it, just included him when he asked. He never ate more than a few bites, but he found the ritual satisfying.

He'd also taken up a hobby of cooking, when the others would allow it. For all his skills, cooking was not one of them. He couldn't taste what he cooked, so he could only adjust his spices by the feedback of the others. He got a little closer every time, but each new recipe he tried was quite a process for the rest of them. He'd allowed Tenele to politely insist on handling Tenara's cake.

This was the happiest he'd been in his recent memory, probably in his entire lifetime. Sinead had scarcely put them to work at all; her quarterly visits were purely social, to visit Tenara and be sure they were both raising her well. Thanks to Vlad, Tenara thought Sinead's name was Aunt Queeny, and Vlad had done nothing to correct the error. He was rather proud of it.

"Thanks for lunch," he said ritually to his wife as he stood to put his largely uneaten sandwich back in the cold cellar where she could feed it to him again tomorrow."
