Elena blinked quickly. She didn't want to walk around in this temple alone. It gave her the creeps. No, she wouldn't risk it. But, it was probably riskier to be in the room alone with Airis at the moment. "I'll think I can find it on my own..." she said softly to him, rubbing her arms absentmindedly.

"Very well," Airis said, "I must warn you though... there are some very lonely and hungry demons here. I can't garuntee your safety."
A cold smirk came across his face. He knew she would be alright and couldn't escape but he had to keep some fear in her. He walked towards the door and glanced back over his shoulder.
"And I'd suggest you hurry," he concluded, "You wouldn't want to go to bed hungry."

Elena eyes widened as she got the image of a bunch of hungry and lonely demons lurking in the dark halls waiting for her. Airis left her before she could tell him she changed her mind.
"Okay, I can do this," she said softly, pushing open the heavy door with all her might and entered a dark hallway lit by torches.
She hugged herself tightly as her eyes darted around fearfully.

Lann stood in the shadows of the dark hallway. He heard Elena's soft breath as she made her way towards him. He could sense her fear and ceased his oppurtunity.
"Are you lost?" He whispered from behind her as she walked by.

Elena gasped and jumped, whirling around and seeing a figure partially hidden in darkness. "Um... sort of... I don't know where the dinning room is..." she said softly, backing up a step.

"Don't be frightened my lady," he said stepping into the dim light. He bowed slightly.
"Where are you going?" he asked sincerely.

Elena eased the tension in her body now that she could see who it was a little more. "To the dinning room... I can't find it though. I don't know my way around here." She fiddled with the sleeves of her dress nervously.

He stepped a little closer to her. "I was on my way there myself. You can walk with me if you like?"
He stretched out a hand. "You might want to stay close. There are some not so nice demons around here."

Elena glanced at his hand with her violet eyes that glimmered in the torchlight. "So I've been told," she said almost in a whisper as she placed her hand in his.
"Why don't they have more light in this place? Or is it a trait in Arken for everything to be dark?"

Lann laughed lightly, "Would you like there to be more light my lady?" he asked.
He snapped his fingers and the torches lit up brighter. Filling the entire hallway with light.
"That can be arranged," He just smiled kindly and led her down the hall. The Torches dimming back down as they passed.

Elena smiled at the light. She liked the light, it made things far less creepy. "Oh, that's better... Thank you," she said, smiling as she turned her head back around to see the torches dim back down and the hall become dark again.

The hallway went dark. Lann pulled Elena closer to him. "Stay close," he whispered.
A large shadow moved towards them quickly. "Get away from her," it growled.
Lann pulled Elena to the side, dodging the attack. As the demon went by, Lann caught a glimpse of who it was.
"Forcroff!!" he said involuntarily.
"You can't take her" Forcroff demanded.
Lann being the great illusionist that he is, made Forcroff see Elena's powerful husband, and Forcroff wouldn't allow him to have her back.
Lann didn't release Elena. Forcroff needed to die and this was the perfect oppurtunity. Lann raised his hand and the hallway turned into a hall of mirrors.
Forcroff stopped and glanced around. He spotted Lann and Elena and charged them. He ran into a solid stone wall. Forcroff hit the floor and Lann was standing over him now, sword in hand. He still held Elena close with her hand still in his own.
"You never should have crossed me," Lann said raising the sword to kill him.

"No, don't kill him," Elena said softly, putting a hand on Lann's chest to hold him back for a moment. "It was a missunderstanding I'm sure..." she said and let go of Lann's hand, kneeling down next to Forcroff.
"Are you well?" she asked him, reaching out to feel his hidious face for a fever.

Forcroff gabbed Elena around the throat and jumped to his feet. "I'll kill you, you traitoruos bitch." he growled.
"I would let her go if I were you," Lann prodded with a smile. He was extremely calm and didn't show any signs of worry.
"Why should I, you can't have her," he hesitated, "She is not yours anymore."
Lann laughed. He knew that Forcroff saw Elena's husband when he looked at him and would sound like a total lunatic.
Lann's gaze fell on Elena. "Would you like me to kill him now?" he asked.
Forcroff tightened his grip around Elena's neck.

Elena felt extremly hurt when Forcroff lashed out at her. She was even more afraid when his grip tightened around her small neck. She intintivly reached up and grabbed at his hand as she watched his other four arms. Forcroff could choke her and fight Lann of if he needed to, what could Lann do to save her.
Elena couldn't answer Lann, so he would have to take her squeek as whatever answer he wanted to. Forcroff's hand was to tight around her tiny neck for her to answer Lann correctly.
