"Looking for you." she answered softly. She walked faster to him and gasped when he saw the sight of him. Blood and a wounded man across his shoulder. "What happened?" she asked anxiously. Her eyes were wild with fear.

"Looking for...?" Soran drifted off as he realized he'd worried her. "I'm alright, I just got scratched. This guy needs help." He gestured to Jhaptal. Although he stood tall, strain now sounded clearly in his voice. "I know this is sudden, but would you mind..." he said uncomfortably, shifting the small pack of supplies and the katana off his wounded shoulder and holding it shakily out to Mizuki. He didn't want to ask for help, but he couldn't afford to be proud when Jhaptal's life might be on the line.

"Yes, yes." Mizuki took the items from Soran and looked at him again. She warred with some thoughts and then just sighed and took his free hand. "Come, lets go quickly. I left Blade alone... and... you both need bandaging..." she kept thinking an talking just so she wouldn't panic while the man on Soran's shoulder's life ebbed away.
She lead them back to the house and help Soran lay the man gently down on the couch. She made Soran sit and she ran upstairs calling for Rai and Siren to wake up. She went to her pack and grabbed the medical supplies then ran back downstairs. She hadn't noticed that Blade was gone from the bed.

Rai had fallen a sleep in the closet, holding Blade in her arms. She was leaning on a stack of molded and dusty clothing. She didn't hear the voices or the noise.

Blade woke up softly and found himself in a new room, and in someone else's arms.
He did what any self respecting baby would do...
...He cried.

It took a moment for Rai to register the sound she was hearing. She slowly woke, blinking several times, but still could not see anything in the darkness. She heard Blade crying. "Shh...." she told him. "Please don't cry... It will hear us..." she told him, trying to rock him like Mizuki often did.

Mizuki's ears [icked up the faint sound of Blade crying, and she started to panic because she needed to tend to the dying man but her son was crying. She called out Rai's name again.
Blade started to quiet down when he heard Rai's voice.
"Ee ont mommy." he sniffled.

Rai looked down at the place where she knew Blade was. She sighed. She wanted Mizuki too. "Okay..." she told Blade, and kissed his cheek. "We'll go look for her..."
She held him tight, and stood up. She felt around for the door nob, but couldn't find it. "Uh-oh...." she said and glanced down at Blade... "Uh... Blade, do you remembered which side of the room we came in on.... You don't? Me either... Help!!!"

Mizuki's touch revived Soran's ambition and he made his legs move again. That back of his hand was burnt and seared at the contact, but he didn't feel like breaking it. He blocked it out and gripped Mizuki's hand a bit too tightly as he walked with her back toward the house. He was relieved to be there with her, even if he didn't have the words or breath to express it. When they got to the house he lay Jhaptal's heavy form on the couch and half-sat, half-collapsed to a seat on the floor next to it. He watched Jhaptal's struggling features with a tight frown. Considering getting up to find a wet cloth, he found that now that the adrenaline rush was fading, his legs no longer listened to him.
He resigned himself to sit still until Mizuki returned, until he heard a small voice cry "Help!" from the closet. Soran eyed the closet at the corner of the room blankly. He forced himself up again and went to the closet, then opened the door to find Rai and Blade huddled inside. "Wh...at are you doing in there?" he asked blankly.

Siren vaguely heard her name being called and left her spot by the balcony where she had been mixing potions to go find out what was going on. She moved briskly down the steps towards the first floor, pausing at the bottom of the stairs to hear where the voices were coming from.

Rai looked up slowly from Soran's shoes to his face. She had a rather blank expression on her face. Then she smiled. "No one was here... well... Siren was here... I just got to scared to go down the hall... So we hid in here!" She opened one arm and ran to Soran's legs, hugging him tightly.

Soran emitted a yelp as his legs protested against Rai's grip by refusing to hold him any longer and dumped him neatly flat on his back on the floor. He shook his head to clear it and looked up, seeing Rai and Siren, who had just come down the stairs. He stared at them oddly, still trying to figure out how he had wound up on the floor.

Rai blinked and looked at Soran. "Wow.... I have magical powers!" she said and grinned. "I can nock people down with out trying to touch them to hard..." She giggled and sat on the floor next to Soran. She yawned and her eyes drooped slightly. She had been up all night after all....

Siren stared at Soran in amazement as he tumbled out in front of her. Decidedly confused, she almost had the urge to turn around and walk right back up the steps. The confusion in Soran's eyes was troubling, though. She looked down his body to his legs. where Rai was latched on securely speaking about posessing magic powers of doom towards Soran's stability.
"Whaa...?"

Soran struggled back to a sitting position, cringing silently at the renewed pain in his shoulder, and looked from Rai to Siren. "She doesn't know her own strength," he said blandly. Suspiciously, he didn't attempt to stand up again.
