Vlad's power was like a drug, and it lulled any discomfort Atul's entrance might have caused to a faint memory. She moaned, wanting to thrust against him, but his telekinetic grip kept her planted exactly where he wanted. Atul's lips sucked and pinched her flesh while her husband drank her lifeblood.

"Beautiful," Atul murmured, his hands worshipping her form with firm caresses. This was to be his wife. This woman and this man were his.

The vampire made sure to leave Tenele fully drunk on his power before his hips started up in a deep rhythm. He released her neck and huffed at the tightness of sharing her body with Atul. He made sure Tenele could feel it, too; their thickness rubbing together, pumping inside her with merciless strength. "Atul...-yes-...come here, lover." He reached out for Atul's arm and drew it down to his lips. He kissed the skin of his wrist lovingly before striking, his fangs prickling into his forearm. The vampire gave a soft grunt of apology before hauling the man headfirst into the spell between their minds, letting the ecstasy and pain hit him like a sack of bricks. "Don't stop, baby," the vampire purred to the king, licking his wrist lovingly.

Atul's rhythm faltered with the onslaught of feelings pouring into him, but his lover's words spurred him on. He picked up the pace, curling his hand over her hip for leverage. "Gods," he grunted against her back, feeling every reverberation of sensation pour into him. It made him all too sensitive to every sensation they felt. He edged a notch faster, no matter how deep it went it wasn't good enough. He wanted all of her, of him.

"Ah!" Tenele's hands tightened into fists in Vlad's grip. All he needed was one hand to hold her captive, and not even that. He could hold her in place with his power alone. The vulnerability of that thought should have frightened her, but instead it only served to turn her on. The thought fed through there link, back and forth between them, like a ball bounced from a wall.

Her body was on her fire, and her mind didn't feel sane. It was a bleeding watercolor of emotion and sensation. She cursed, burying her face against the sheets near her husbands ear and she growled all the dark and tempting dangers she wanted of him. All the lines she wanted him to cross, all the things his darkness might have begged for but he never voiced. Because in the heat of this moment, in the wash of his mind with hers, she knew them, and she loved them, and she wanted them.

Vlad groaned, confidence fueling his devious ecstasy as he pushed her, and Atul through her, further and further. Her frantic requests were like hands all over his body, threatening to bring him to his knees. He indulged in the ferocity she requested, knowing he'd need to pamper her in the morning for the soreness he would cause, and not minding it one bit.

"Yes... both of you..." he muttered urgently. He wanted to bring her. He wanted to feel her body clench around them. He wanted Atul's heat to pour inside him...no, her... fuck, both. He shot up and bit her again, on the shoulder, and sent through a bolt of pleasure that could have left a total stranger twitching with orgasm.

Tenele screamed, their sensations rippling over one another until in that instant she lost her mind to it. She was already heading there, but the moment he bit her it blasted her over the cliff. She called out to them, shuddering, begging for redemption and for mercy from the flames of passion and pleasure threatening to take her sanity.

Atul roared, thrusting onward. "Fuck," he growled and hissed her name. Fisting a hand in her silver hair, he planted himself as deep as he could go and let her have all of him. He pressed his lips into her neck near her ear. "Mercy?" he groaned, thrusting despite his softening member.

Vlad shuddered as his own climax rocked through him, relishing every plea, every shiver and every sensation from his lovers' bodies as they topped with him.

Only then did he finally release his bite on Tenele and rein in his power from the deafening roar they were being assaulted with. The invisible hands binding Tenele gently released her to relax on top of him. His kept his thoughts quiet for them and traced his fingers over their skin affectionately, with all the satisfaction of a monster after a successful hunt.

Tenele shuddered down over him, lying heavily against him as her weak body took rest. She begged Atul not to move, not to make any more of a hint of a sensation, so the King stayed exactly where he was, on his knees behind her. His legs quivered and begged for him to lie down, but he simply stayed draped over her, while attempting not to suffocate her between them.

Several minutes passed in silence with them lying in a pile. Atul slipped slowly from her, earning a soft hiss. He pressed an apologetic kiss to her back and collapsed next to them. He pressed tender kisses to Vlad's shoulder while his fingers brushed up and down her arm.

"My loves," he whispered affectionately. "Mine..."

Tenele smiled from where she rested on Vlad's chest. "I love you," Tenele told Atul, reaching out to cup his cheek.

"And I you," Atul replied.

Vlad turned his head to the side to stare into Atul's blue eyes. He didn't say anything for a while, just listening to their heartbeats and their recovering breath. It wasn't until then, in the calm aftermath of their lovemaking, that he realized he'd not had a single flashback. At least, nothing so vivid as what he'd experienced that morning. The things he'd experienced under Maxwell and Lelana were still part of him, but they were organized in their proper places in his mind. It was a bit of a shock to realize that he was whole.

He could be a proper husband to them, now. The relief made him abruptly limp, and if he'd been standing he'd probably have sunk to the floor. Had he really been that concerned?

He reached to his side, and found Atul's hand. The vampire took a deep breath and wove his fingers tenderly between the king's. There was no point trying to keep his thoughts to himself after the connection he'd just forged between their minds, so he just let the afterglow of relief and affection lie bare for them to see.

Tenele smiled and burrowed down against her husband, perfectly content where she was. She did slip off to the side after a few minutes, when the heavy dredges of exhaustion began to pull her under. She could already feel a pulsing ache in her human body where her immortal lovers had been, but even that was a pleasing reminder of what transpired.

Atul slipped closer to Vlad's side and the two of them cocooned around the vampire lovingly. Tenele's human exhaustion tugged alluringly at Atul's consciousness, begging him to sleep. He eventually gave way with her, and fell asleep breathing softly against Vlad's neck.

Vlad lay on his back between them, his thoughts caressing both of their minds with quiet adoration as they slept. He thought about the man's soft breath on his neck, and Tenele's warm skin against his side.

He imagined being with them both in this world for as long as their mortal lives allowed.

He thought about the memories they would make with their daughter, and the prospect of being Captain of the Guard, charged formally with their protection. The only career that could ever have meaning for him.

He imagined, and lay sleepless, and was inconceivably happy.

It was late morning before Atul pulled himself awake from the near-drug-induced sleep Tenele's exhaustion had pulled him too. He stretched his content body out alongside Vlad's form. His mind went over the events of the night, and he smiled to himself as he stared up as intricately detailed ceiling.

He lifted his arm, admiring Vlad's love bite as he smiled happily. Every night could be like that, he thought. It sent a flutter through his stomach. He could still feel himself connected to them. He knew what Tenele was dreaming. He could feel her aches, and her happiness, just as he felt Vlad's contentment.

Vlad rolled over to blanket Atul's side, his arm drawing around him possessively. "Good morning," he purred, pressing his face into the crook of his neck where the morning light couldn't find his red eyes.

"Good morning," Atul sighed pleasantly, curling an arm over the vampire. The tips of his fingers trailed lightly up and down Vlad's spine. "I should get up. I'm too comfortable, but I'm already running late for a meeting."

Vlad helpfully coiled tighter around his chosen mate and grazed his teeth along the side of his neck. "Later," he demanded luxuriantly.

Atul chuckled, shivering at the feel of his lover's teeth. "You are very tempting," he sighed. "But, a country doesn't wait for later. You could join me if you like. It will be boring, mostly concerning finances. I'll also be announcing your new role today, transitioning you from ambassador to Captain of the Guard effective in two weeks. I don't want to activate it immediately, as I'd like to give you a few days for a breather after the wedding before throwing you into the fray."
