Celeste looked sternly, almost madly at the Doctor. "She won't cause any trouble. . .I Promise on my life" Celeste half-growled "And He's the only reason I'm alive, he's blessed As I am as an Angel" Celeste looked at Stephan hoping he'd play along.

"Yeah," Stephan said, his eyes sparkling with a smile. "What she said. As innocent as a newborn bird."

The doctor glowered at them and was very quiet for a while. "Fine. I'll fix him and you leave," he muttered, moving out of the way.

Stephan smirked behind the veil that covered most of his face. He passed the doctor and laid Caleb out on a table in the next room over. He wiped his hands on his coat and stepped back into the waiting room, where he took a seat and folded his arms. He stretched his legs out and crossed them at the ankle, waiting patiently.

The doctor scowled at him and then moved into the room, closing the door behind him as he moved to work on Caleb.

"Blessed," Stephan scoffed. "Yeah right."

Celeste slumped next to Stephan, her worry plain on her face. She sighed softly "I know . . .I didn't quite tell the truth" She shifted to look at her bandaged wing wondering weather it was healed or not. "Stephan, can you do me a favor?" she asked looking at him.

Stephan sat very still, thinking. "What's the favor?" he asked, not one to promise anything without know what it was first.

"could you help me remove the bandages and splint from my wing?" Celeste watched Stephan "or at lest help me figure out if it's healed or not"

Stephan was still for a moment, almost like he would say no. Then, he stood and went around behind her, and silently began removing the bandages. When he was finished he draped them on the bench next to her. "There," he said softly, reaching up to scratch the back of his head through the hood he wore.

Celeste shifted her shoulders, gingerly spreading the wing.It opened fine, but she couldn't help the small grimace that crossed her face, it still hurt to move it but was healed enough. "Thank you, Stephan. My wing feels better"

"Welcome," he told her, moving back to where he was sitting. He shifted in the same position he'd been in before he had helped her, and waited.

He watched the window, watched the people as they passed, and he tried very hard to keep his thoughts from drifting to her... Because it was just too painful to think about. It also made his temper become nearly out of control.

"I'm sorry for your loss" Celeste said picking up on Stephan's change of mood. "I know what it feels like to have the one you love ripped from you . . ." She closed her eys shifting her wings around her shoulders in a almost self-comforting gesture.

"Its fine," Stephan said stiffly, looking away.

But, it wasn't fine. It definitely wasn't. Stephan shook his head, and leaned forward. He placed his elbows on his knees and rested his head in his hands for a moment, looking down at the floor as he gathered his thoughts. "She couldn't wait one more week," he muttered. "I would have been here. She could have waited one more damn week. She was always independent and reckless."

Celeste half-laughed it was an almost dead sound "sounds like Matthias . . .Always charging . . ." Celeste's words caught in her throat, she obviously hit a sensitive spot on herself "just thinking about it hurts . . .still to this day . . ."

Stephan glanced up from where he was staring at the floor. "I'm sorry for your loss," he returned her condollances quietly.

Celeste held her eyes shut "By Nyaru I miss him" she whispered more so to herself.

Stephan didn't know what to say in return. So he was silent. "Why are you defending that thing after it tried to kill people?" he asked her after that long moment of silence.

"She's my twin, My Sister . . .the only one of my family that I know is alive" Celeste's voice was hitched, and she looked at her feathers.
