Re: Lost
OOC: Sorry, I haven't had internet in a while at home.
IC: Stephan noted Celeste coming up behind her sister. He took a step back. "Like I said," he muttered as he saw an Arken soldier pass up a head, unsuspecting, unaware. "I have no quarrel with you." His yellow eyes peered over the cloth across the bottom of his face and watched her. "You are a violent creature. You will kill, it is in your nature to, demon. Think about the safety of your company. One day the person you slice to ribbons could be the one standing right behind you now."
Stephan turned and walked towards the mouth of the alleyway.

Re: Lost
((it's okay ^^))
Yoruhana growled, she half-turned, and only seeing Celeste's outline, lashed out at her. Celeste quickly sidestepped her entire being screaming to attack her own sister, but she merely ducked and dodged the savage blows.
"Thanks a lot, Stephan!" Celeste half yelped, half growled at the retreating Raith. Yoruhana paused, and looked strangely at her twin, she didn't recognize, not in her blood lust. "Caleb, please help me" Celeste called to him, hoping he'd restrain Yoruhana long enough for her to hold the cloth in her hand to her twin's face.

Re: Lost
Caleb grimaced as Yoruhana finally lost her control. She'd held out admirably, but apparently this last surprise was too much. He ran up behind the demon and grabbed the base of each of her wings at what he hoped was a sensitive spot, tugging her backward. He wasn't an agile fighter, but a blacksmith's grip and arm strength were nothing to sniff at. Of course, the move left him fairly vulnerable in other respects, but it would get her attention. "That's your sister, fool!" he growled, pulling her wings down and back.
Re: Lost
Yoruhana let out a horrible half scream, it was enough to make your blood run cold. She showed her fangs Animal like, the planes of her face looking like that of a monster. Yoruhana swung a claw at Celeste, who stepped back. The angel's movements were slow, calculated. Yoruhana lashed out again, this time for Caleb, she meant to take his head off, but her blow would land lower.

Re: Lost
There wasn't enough time to dodge. He knew it the second he saw the claws flying around at him. He leg go of one wing and kept a vice grip on the other as he still tried futilely to at least turn his front line away from the blow. It caught him at his back and ripped down his side, tearing flesh. He groaned, knowing logically that his organs weren't touched, that the blow hadn't been hard enough to break through his ribs. It definitely didn't feel that way. He barely managed to hold onto her wing and used the inertia of her attack to pull her off balance and throw her down to the ground. The smart next move would be to follow her down and pin her there, while she was off guard, but instead he retreated a painful step backward and pulled his arm across his side to slow the bleeding. Fighting people was a lot easier when he was allowed to kill them.
Re: Lost
"Caleb" Celeste screamed, she saw his blood, and she saw Yoruhana hit the ground. She shivered, making up her mind she ran to Caleb, standing between him and Yoruhana. "heaven forbid me" Celeste whispered, as she drew out a feather, she couldn't use it. She watched as Yoruhana writhed upon the ground, she was growling, and the growling was getting louder. Yoruhana started getting up, her gaze fixed on Caleb.

Re: Lost
Stephan had made it to the end of the alley before his conscience wouldn't let him go any further. He looked back at the hopeless chaos the two had gotten into and he sighed.
The next thing he knew he was tackling the demon to the ground and wrapping his arms and legs around her. He wreslted her to the ground, or at least was in the process of trying. "Do it! Do whatever it is you have to do, but do it now!" he yelled.

Re: Lost
F..fine," Caleb breathed, standing straight to avoid looking hurt. He glanced at Yoruhana's still body and the Wraith who had held her down. "Thanks," he said to the man, knowing it would have been easier for him to attack the demon than restrain her.
Re: Lost
Celeste looked at Caleb, she saw his blood. "Oh By the goddess" She cursed under her breath, and hurried over Him, putting her hand on the wound caused by Yoruhana's claws. It was too deep for her to heal, so she merely put pressure on it. Her shoulders shook, and her breath hitched.

Re: Lost
Stephan unwrapped his arms from the demons body and brushed his clothes off, like he was getting rid of something disgusting.
"Not a problem," he told her, as he looked up. He frowned at seeing the wounded man. He couldn't just let the man die though, even if he had been incredibily stupid for taking up with the likes of these two.
"Let's get him to a healer or a doctor, whichever we find first," he muttered as he came around on the other side of Caleb to face Celeste. "I'll carry him."

Re: Lost
Caleb held his breath to avoid wincing at Celeste's expert pressure on his wound. "I don't need to be carried," he snarled, just as his balance began to betray him. He stiffened his legs to keep them from folding under him, hoping he wasn't leaning too heavily on Celeste.

Re: Lost
Stephan lifted Caleb's body up with a heaving grunt. The man weighed more than he'd expected, but it wasn't hard for him. He went out to the main road and started walking, avoiding as much as he could the Arken scum that walked so casually about as if they'd already taken the capital of Lowight and made Ighten their home.
They continued to walk until they came to a building with a dangling wooden sign that had in old carved letters the name, Dr. Liverwart.
"Lovely," Stephan muttered as he kicked the door with his foot, "knocking" three times. "Hey, open up. This guy is bleeding out on me."
There was a moment of silence, and then the door cracked open. "Who are you? I don't help Arken's. Go."
"He's not an Arken," Stephan muttered, nodding his head down to the man he carried. "So you gonna help him?"
Dr. Liverwart appeared to be thinking. "Grrr... bring him in... That thing can stay outside," he said, pointing to Celeste's sister. "Don't help demons either."
