I guess it just turned out that way if you want to talk weights we still can or if you just want to turn this into a generalized forum I am cool with that.

You would be suprised at how much you can do with just a set of 30lbs. dumbells.
Military press: Take the dumbells to the tops of your shoulders and extend you arms upward keeping your back straight and the dumbells directly over your shoulders.
Box squats: take those dumbells hold them at your sides and sit down on a chair stool just something that is squared off. As soon as you feel your backside touch the "squared off object" Spring up.
Standing curls: Take dumbells hold at side and lift bringing arms in fronty of chest and turning fists upwards.

Your right about the dumbels. I found I get better stretch and thus better results pressing two dumbels then bench presses with a bar. Of course I'm from the school of thought that getting that extension is better than sheer weight.

Wieght is better on some days but extension is also good.
If you take those same dumbells and extend your arms outward from your sides you will build up good shoulder strength.

Anyone ever go to the local YMCAs lately? They got some good stuff as far as weight equipment goes. And you can get a family membership program for $50 a month.

I am a big fella not really a ripped out fella. I work out but all I seem to build is bulk.
