OUtside the sandstorm raged against the windows. All the windows on each building were latched shut tightly but that didn't stop them from rattling. Mitsukai woke in the middle of the night from a nightmare that warned her of a threat. She shuddered against Skye's warm body and rolled off him gently. She walked up to the rattling window, naked, and starred out to the covered night. She could barely even see the buildings across the road.

"Wow, the sands are covering everything.. I can't see." Mitsukai remarked as she stared outside. She couldn't shake the feeling of a threat though. She shook her head. "Maybe it's just my fear for Presea..." she convinced herself only slightly and returned to bed and cuddled next to Skye.

Skye heard Mitsukai get out of bed and walk over to the rattling windows which he had paid no attention to. The storm outside sounded really bad and he heard her say something about Presea. As she walked over to the bed again and get back in, Skye wrapped his arms around her.

"Presea will be fine. We're going to help her," he told her, hoping she wouldn't worry about it.

Skye lay his head on her shoulder and thought again of what they had done a few hours ago. He had had so many dreams of her about them getting married since then. He decided to wait before that, though. Maybe she wasn't ready. He had to be patient. She was going through a lot right now with Presea and all. He wondered what had happened to her. Where she was now...

Mitsukai was mildly surprised that Skye was awake. She snuggled into his embrace and nodded. She tried to fall asleep again but it was a long time before she acctually could. Her senses were ragging.

Somewhere outside in the storming sands a person was watching their window across the road from another building.

"Did they move yet?''

"Non, master." the person spoke tellapathically to his master. Keeping his glowing green eyes intent on the window. He was able to see past all the sand. "But she has no shame for herself."

"What do you expect from a fallen? Just keep your eyes on them." His master snapped angrily back at his servant tellapathically. The servant bowed his head.

"As you wish, master." He ressumed watching the fallen angel and her comrade.

Skye felt like he was being watched, but found it silly since it was storming outside. It was a long while before Mitsukai went back to sleep, and Skye refused to sleep himself until she did. He would hate to be asleep while she was awake worrying about Presea and who knows what else.

By dawn, the storm calmed down. He wondered if he should wake her up. He decided not to and instead, got up quietly to take a bath.

Mitsukai shifted in her sleep and she woke up feeling the empty place wheere Skye had been. She shot up in bed frightened holding the sheet to her bossom.

"Skye?" She called nervously.

Just as Skye was getting his clothes on after taking his bath, he heard Mitsukai panickly calling for him.

"I'm in here."

He walked out into the bedroom and smiled at her. He found it funny that she depended on him so much and at the same time flattering.

"Did you think I ran away?" he asked crawling back in bed next to her.

Mitsukai sighed in releif to heaar his voice and hugged him when he crawled into bed with her.

"I don't like to wake up alone." she said, snuggling into his chest.

Skye smiled and kissed her, happy that his presense meant that much to her.

"Are you still as worried about Presea as you were earlier? If so, we need to get ready to leave. Or.....we could hang out here a little while...."

"No, we must leave as soon as possible." she said starting to get up. She got out of the bed and walked past the window to retrieve her clothes that were on the floor. But she stopped at the window and looked out puzzled.

"What is it?" Skye asked wondering what Mitsukai was staring at. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing..." she said still staring out the window. 'I know I felt something...' she thought but then shrugged it off and put her clothes back on. After a few minute's she finally strung up her last boot and stood up. "Let's get going!" she said suddenly bubbly.

Across the street, the storm had died finally but the man still watched.

"Did they move?"

"Yes,"

"Then follow. Do not lose them. The fallen must be erradicated before she reaches the target. You may now use all means nessassary to stop her."

"Yes master." The cloaked figure stood up from the window and proceeded out of the building.

Skye walked out of the room before Mitsukai and kept one arm around her as he did the day before. He handed the key to the woman at the front desk, thanked her, and walked out the door.

He suddenly felt like something was wrong.

"Is it just me or does something feel...wrong?"

"Something is wrong." Mitsukai answered. She scanned the sand filled streets where all the residents were working to de-sand their homes and steps and the road.

The cloaked man knew to keep a good distance from the Fallen. He knew Angel's were skilled and had a sixth sense with certain things but he had a job to do. Any fallen who breaks the rules must be killed, and normally a fallen would lose their memory right after falling but Mitsukai had gotten lucky and was saved almost immediantly after landing. So, she didn't lose her memory.

The rules for Fallen Angel's are that they cannot help another soul and they cannot get involved with one. Basically a fallen has to live in isloation on instinct, and they mostly end up killing themselves later because of it. But Mitsukai had broken the rules and she must be killed along with her companion.

Skye also scanned the area for anything suspicious, but it was hard to see for the bright sun.

"Maybe we're just being silly," he said kissing her temple. "We have a job to do."

Mitsukai still looked worried, and that bothered him.

"Maybe..." Mitsukai said uneasily, looking around for anything...

The man in the cloak had to admire this naive fallen. Her senses were very alert and on high guard. She deffinatly knew he was there following them, but not where. But with this infirer world full of all types of races inhabiting it, who could find anyone and anything!?

Mitsukai stopped walking suddenly and spun around. "Ah, we have the map we need... let's take to the air now!" she sounded desparate, but without a word or warning to Skye she picked him up with ease and took off into the sky...
