Laya looked up and shrugged. "If you would like to see your parents," she said and looked to Telanis. "Besides, where else could we possibly go that is far enough away from the villagers. Unless... we went to the Queen... I am sure she could sort it all out... She is supposed to be after all a just Queen..."

Kratos nodded, agreeing. "If everyone's fine with it then we shall. But I will mail this letter."

"Telanis," Neko asked softly from across the table. "Do you want to go?"

Laya went to reach forward for her cup and knocked it over. She sighed, taking her napkin and wiping up what little water there was. She stood up, pooring some more water into her glass.

Telanis listened to their discussion thoughtfully. "Sure," he replied to Neko optimistically, "I'll go with you." He watched Laya from the corner of his eye as she refilled her glass, well aware of her discomfort. "We should leave soon. Maybe tomorrow," he said with enthusiasm, though there was more to his reasoning for an early departure than mere eagerness.

"Tomorrow would be better," Laya said, taking her seat again. "So we can all have a good nights rest..." She looked towards Neko and Kratos. She was unsure if they really wanted to see there parents or not, she knew she would have wanted to.

It had been a long time since she had seen her parents... and it would be a long time still unless she died sometime soon before she did again.

"Alright then." Kratos said as he finished his letter home. "I'll send this out and it will, hopefully, reach them before we leave tomorrow." With that, Kratos got up after folding the letter after it dried, and he exited the house to go to town to find a messenger boy.

"While he's out... maybe we sould set up some supplies before we leave?" Neko suggested.

Telanis looked around. "We can probably find supplies along the way," he suggested, not wanting to take advantage of Tetsumaru's hospitality. "I could go into the village early in the morning if there's anything we need," he offered.

"Would someone recognise you?" Laya asked him, tilting her head slightly as she took another small spoonful of food.

"I mean, can they tell what you are?"

Telanis looked down at his body. "My hair is unusual, but there are few who could recognize me in this form," he said, an image of one individual crossing his mind. He remembered Tetsumaru's presence and looked over at the old man cautiously, not sure discussing his identity in front of the man was a good idea.

Tetsumaru stared obliviously. "What?" he asked. A fly had flown past his head a bit earlier and he had been watching it fly back and forth as opposed to listening in on the conversation they were having. "Didu you say somesingu abouto youru hairu?"

Telanis touched his long silver hair thoughtfully. "It's somewhat unusual," he said to Tetsumaru.

"Oh definatly." Neko added in. "But it's beautiful!" Neko blushed at her outburst, but it was true and she adored his hair.

Telanis looked at his hair curiously. "It is?" he pondered to himself, then grinned at Neko. "Alright. Then we'd best sleep now, and I will pick up supplies in the morning," he recommended.

Laya decided, though not even close to being done with her food. She decided to gather all of the scarps and take them outside for the racoons or some other night creature to eat. She gathered what was left of everyones food and put it in one bowl then carried it outside to the end of the clearing around the cabin and place the food there, poring it into a small pile for the animals to fight over.

Laya came inside and began to pump water into the sink to wash the dishes that she and her friends had dirtied so she wouldn't leave Tetsumaru to clean up after them.

Tetsumaru gestured around the room and said, "Sleepu whereeveru you wouludo liku. I willu taku ze fulooru." He thought for a moment. "Zere shouldo be blanketsu... somewheru."
