Lore: Upon The Heels of War
"Might have, or have you shrunk?" Blade teased back. Soran was in fact different than he remembered, but catching up could wait. He allowed his mother another hug and kiss before he untangled himself from her and turned to the Queen, bowing slightly.
"This, was all I desired." He said, once again in his monarch manner as he straightened, "But I do apologize for the intrusion and I recongize that in order to win this battle we need to join forces. Never have the Dark Angels joined in the matters of Arken and Ighten, but now this concerns us as well. You have the Dark Angel military at your disposal."

"Am I interupting?" a deep voice said from the doorway of the throne room. He was a tall man with long silver hair and the strangest pair of silver eyes. He was clad in a black tunic and a long flowing black cloak. His arm was bandaged and wrapped and his face was cut and bloody. He looked as if he had seen better days. Upon his shoulder sat a silver hawk.
"My Queen...." Talon said, bowing his head respectfully in her direction. He dared not move away from the wall... He wasn't in the shape to walk as it was.
Rai blinked at him and then looked at her father. "He looks like the princess...." she whispered to her father and it wasn't hard to notice that he held a strong resemblance to Tenele.

"I hold your support in high regard," Sinead said to Blade with a nod. "We have every reason to welcome help right now." It was then that a voice on the other end of the room drew her attention away. "Talon!" she breathed, suddenly leaving the rest of them to rush to her servant's side. "What in the world happened to you?" She glanced at one of her guards, who took Talon supportively under the arm to balance him.
Soran followed Rai's gaze to the newcomer. It was true that he was similar in some ways to the woman they'd met, but the rogue didn't set his mind to that conclusion just yet. Whoever it was, he looked worse for wear.

Kaze was next to come in, holding the unconscious Kami over her shoulder. She had had more than her fair share of trying to escape the masacre at Hepian. She would faint at any moment.
"My... Queen... Hepian is...lost..." Kaze managed to weakly say before collapsing in a heap with Kami on the ground. Several guards to the initiative to pick them both up gingerly and rush them to the hospital ward. Mizuki stood behind Blade, clasping his shoulders in a protective fashion as she watched the newcomers, obviously the Queens own, come in battered then two fall and be taken away. Blade grimaced beneath her, a grim expression on his face as he was reminded of how his own Dark Angel scouts had returned from the mountains in the Border. One had died from his wounds.

Talon gave a weak nod. "Its true. Burned, everything... The soldiers have made a base there... My friend here showed allowed me insight to their plans." He motioned to the silver hawk on his shoulder. "A massive army broke up into waves is moving towards the border, if it isn't there already... The first wave isn't the largest, however if it isn't met soon our forces will suffer greatly..." He had been too weak from teleporting them to the palace that he had not noticed the army leaving the city.
"We need to move quickly..."
"We need to move quickly..."

Soran looked at her, hardly knowing how to be angry about it anymore. "I just didn't want my verdict to extend to you too," he said, still amazed to be standing there freely. He looked at Blade. "That was by far the crudest diplomacy I've ever seen, but I'm glad it worked," he said with a skeptical look. It was so odd to look into his eyes, like a mirror of himself when he was a child. Bold, intelligent, and reckless.
Blade shrugged nonchallantly. "Whatever works. I've always found people are at a weakness when dealing with child royalty." He smiled at his adoptive father with a smirk. "I adhere to it when needed." That was when Mizuki boxed her son's ears.
"What in the world did they teach you?" she said in a motherly demanding tone. Blade practically fell under his mother's stern gaze.
"I thought it was a cool entrance! Besides, I was terrified you'd all die!" he declared, quickly hugging Mizuki's waist tightly. As if that would erase his sloppy handling of the event. But he was still young, and bound to make mistakes, he knew that and tried to fix them whenever possible. Though childhood was swift for his kind, not everything is learned with a keen grace.
