Heirot

Gwendolyn thought for a moment, trying to get an image of the girl within her mind's eye.

"Mmmm," her voice purred in concentration. "Presea, yes, yes that girl... Blond, black streaked hair... carrying a bear... My, poor child is so young. I wonder... if she can heal..?" She remenised in her scrying thoughts as she looked the girl over. Understanding her past and her single minded desire for revenge. The girl was concious of what was done to her, but anything else was harder to process for the young girl.

"I don't know that much about her," he admitted. "You should wait until Mitsukai wakes up. She knows a lot more than I do."

((so shooooort.... *dies*))

Gwendolyn nodded then got back up to tend to the tea again.

He sighed almost silently and looked towards Mitsukai, who was still sleeping soundly in the room over. "How much longer until she wakes up?" he asked.

"Give her an hour." Gwendolyn said as she put the grinded herbs in two cups. The water was still heating as she turned to Skye. "You may go to her for now, until the tea is ready."

He nodded and got up to walk back into the living room where Mitsukai was peacefully sleeping. He knelt beside the couch and took her hand, his fingers twining with hers as he felt her body heat through his palms. He smiled and watched her while she slept, and his other hand began to stroke her face.

Mitsukai responded weakly to his touch. She felt so tired, all she wanted to do was sleep.

"Sk.......ye..." she tried in vain to speak but it took toomuch effort.

He smiled and kissed her cheek gently. "Go back to sleep," he said. "You need your rest."

He wanted to tell her that the woman who had saved them was the seer they had been looking for, but he decided to wait until she had more energy.

Mitsukai drifted back into her sleep without even responding to him. Several moments later, Gwendolyn came out with a tray of tea for both her and Skye.

"Did she respond to you?" she asked while placing the tray upon the small table in front of them.

"A little bit," he said, smiling. "She woke up, and I told her to go back to sleep. Didn't seem that hard for her to do either."

He laughed softly and took the cup of tea, beginning to drink it.

"Do you happen to know that man that attacked us back there?" he asked. She was a seer after all. "That's the second time we've run into him."

Gwendolyn shook her head. "He uses a magic to block my sight. But I can tell he is a danger to both you and Mitsukai." her voice was heavy with warning and her genuinly cheerful face was now somber.

Gwendolyn delicatly sipped at her tea and studied Mitsukai's wane face.

"I don't know much about the code for Fallens," he continued, "but he said something about them not being allowed to communicate with others once they were banished from the Heavens."

It made him nervous to think that Elegorh was still out there, and that he wanted to kill Mitsukai. Not only that, but how many other assassins were out there?

Gwendolyn nodded. "More like another world above Heirot." Gwendolyn said. "The most I know is that with each God we worhship, they have angels to carry out their orders. I don't know which God Mitsukai served, but he or she must've been a very judging one."

He nodded, glancing back at the sleeping angel. "So is that all they think angels are good for? Serving some god to carry out orders?" he asked.

Gwendolyn shook her head. "It's hard to question gods, they live by very different rules." she said solemnly. She stared at Mitsukai very hard, trying to see the path that lay before the young fallen but there was too much grey area.

"Mitsukai's path is still uncertain, it seems she has few choices. She could either die, or go on with her journey, or go into hiding and live in the isolated seclusion that was intended before." she stated, her eyes wise and still in their dreamy haze as she kept scrying.
