Lore:(Mature)To fetch some clothes...

This is the forest that covers most of Ighten in dense and thick trees. It is the oldest forest in Heirot, since most of the Forests in Arken have been destroyed. It is well known as a haunted forest where ghosts and demons reside. In the forest are many villages. The villagers will tell you tales of trees that eat people, gaint spiders, and dragon lairs.

He grinned and tilted his head for a moment. "Am I?" he asked. "Wouldn't she be visiting you now, since her usual time was a few hours ago..."

He folded his arms. "The tattoo... of the sun and moon? What does it stand for? It looks familiar... Oh well, I'll just take a closer look tonight."

Vlad's anger was so great, for a moment he felt he'd explode if he didn't figure out something to do with it. "Whatever game you think you're playing, I hope you know it's a very dangerous one," he growled, walking towards him sternly.

"You won't do anything to me," he said casually. "If you do I'll have her ravaged to the point of death.... well to where she feels like she'll die. Do you want that? Right now she's probably with a few men... When I left her last night there were three of them... Doing things to her much like what was done to you. But, we both know that it can get worst... And hurt more. You will work here as long as you live. And she will work there. Be happy she isn't dead."

Vlad grabbed the other man by his collar and tugged him in close, ruby eyes eating in inches away from his. "No more of your games. You're going to let her go. Now."

His eyes widened, but he wouldn't show any fear. "I can't, she doesn't belong to me," he said to him. "She belongs to Claw now."

"What?" Vlad snarled, shock riddling through him. Lydia's words came back through his mind, remembering what it meant to work for Claw.

Suddenly he kicked the door closed, taking Sekushi's body and shoving it further into the room. His eyes had grown violent and dangerous, like a feral animal. "Then you're going to take this thing off," he said darkly.

"No," Sekushi said and tried to punch Vlad with his fist.

Vlad dodged the punch rapidly and threw one of his own, dead into Sekushi's solar plexus so hard that it sent the man sprawling onto his back. Vlad pinned him to the ground with his knee, pressing hard on his midsection, and held his throat to the carpet with a vicelike hand. "Take it off," he growled, hatred burning like hellfire in his eyes.

Sekushi pulled the keys out of his pocket and threw them across the room. He waited for Vlad to go after them, when he did he would run for the door and make sure he got to her before the vampire did.

Vlad looked back at the keys. A pathetic trick, and yet it worked. He had to risk going for them. Letting go of Sekushi's neck (but not without digging his clawlike nails in deep necklaces across his skin), he stood and darted for the keys.

Sekushi ran to the door and closed it behind him, locking it quickly. "Stay in there," he yelled. "Stay while I go and torture for what you did to me... Maybe I'll do it in front of you some time?" Sekushi yelled as he turned and went down the hall.

Vlad snatched the keys, jamming them one by one into the hole in the back of his collar. As he got to the last key, frustration gave him a terrifying appearance. He put it in and turned it.

It didn't work. That idiot had given him the wrong keys. Furious now, he hurled the keys across the room. They crashed into the mirror, which rained glass across the floor. "Sekushi!" he snarled, and pounded on the reinforced door. A servant carrying a tray of dishes jumped at the sound on the other side, dropping them all over the floor. Vlad tore at the door fiercely with his claws until he reached something that made a screech. A steel plate was inserted between the planks of wood. "Damn." He slammed his fist into the metal furiously. The thought of what was probably happening to Tenele was driving him crazy.

Tenele fiddled with the collar that had been placed around her neck when she ran for the door, killing on man with a fork through the eye and wounding the other.

The collar was brass looking, shining. It didn't appear to have a lock, since it was magically sealed. They had put it on her while she was sleeping so she didn't know the words that would get it off.

She really didn't understand how it worked. All she knew, was that when she went towards the front door she got this horrible migrane that made it hard to see, think, walk...

She cursed a number of foul words that not even her closes friends knew she could say.

So she went about what they told her to do. Cleaning up after the nasty soldiers they smuggled in from Arken. She had to endure them hitting on her, if you could call what they said complements.

At least she hadn't been chosen for the job she saw some of the women doing. Which, was to serve the ones being smuggled in. Yes, they slaves were treated remarkably well as long as they didn't rebel.

Of course, rebeling, in any situation, would lead to punishment. That was natural.

The strange thing was she had a feeling she would rather be doing what she was doing, than having to deal with Sekushi.

Lydia stared in astonishment. A sea of nameless faces stared her down, no more interested in her than a twig on the ground. Her focus was all on one person, waving a bid ticket in the air. THe person who had just purchased her, and just saved her life. She didn't recognize him at first, but as she walked down from the runway in a daze she finally realized who it was.

"Dalan!" she breathed, running up to him. He handed a bag of coins to a dealer that approached him, signaling him to pay up. Then they were walking through the crowd, they were leaving the tent, she was walking in daylight. It was a dream.

"I thought for sure you'd died or something awful...I thought you'd never come," she said quietly, tears brimming in her eyes as they walked outside and stopped.

"I always meant to come for you. I just didn't have the means." He was astounded by how little anger she showed toward him, when it was his fault she'd been forced to come here in the first place. He had sold her like so much property, and now she treated him no differently than ever, her darling brother. "I recently came into some money."

For the first time a flash of doubt showed in her eyes. "Brother, where did you ever find so much?"

Dalan frowned, looking down. He was an exceptionally frank person, and had no inclination to lie. She knew he had done something illegal; it was only a matter of what. "Well, I kidnapped someone," he said, watching her expression. "I sold her to claw. It was her or you. Sekushi wanted her especially because it seems her slave has been very popular at the brothels."

"Her slave?" Lydia asked quietly, her voice empty.

"A total nut." Some of Dalan's confidence came back. "He's some sort of vampire, but he's not normal. To be honest I'm surprised they were able to hold him there at all. But he seems willing enough to do whatever that woman tells him. Told him," he amended.

Lydia's eyes widened, registering this. It was the first thing that really woke her up after the rush of being rescued. Suddenly it made sense why the vampire had shown such spirit and endured his emprisonment so tolerantly. But she was gone, and he was still there. Would he be trapped there forever? He had helped her. "Dalan, that vampire...I want you to get him out," she said.

"Are you crazy?" he countered in shock. "It was hard enough getting you out. We should leave town now-"

"Dalan, get him out." Her eyes burned now with strange intensity, almost angry if she was really capable of that emotion.

Dalan shook his head and looked down. SHe was asking something impossible, or at least insane. And she seemed perfectly aware of that fact. He did owe it to her. "Fine. But a plan first," he said bitterly.

Tenele was walking down the hall. The skirt that was almost see-through billowed around her, her legs showing since the slits went up to her hip on either side. She was carrying a basket of clothes that she needed to take down to the room where the women did the laundry.

She was turning going down the steps towards the slave quarters. She was going to turn down a hall that was halfway down so she could go to the laundry room. Someone grabbed her, startling her. She almost screamed but they covered her mouth before she could. They wrapped one arm around her waist and drug her down the stairs and down the hall. She dropped the basket and it tumbled down the steps, leaving a trail of clothes down to the bottom.

Tenele struggled, jerking and squirming her body to try and see who was holding her, and where they were taking her. Whoever it was drug her into her room and kicked the door closed. Then, they through her towards the bed. She turned around, half sitting on the bed, to find Sekushi standing in front of the door. He didn’t lock it, she realized, so if she could get to the door before he could.

He rushed at her before she knew what was happening and lifted her up, through her further on the bed and then sat on top of her.

“Get the hell off me!” she screamed, throwing her hands up to hit him. “Get off...”

He grabbed her hands and put them together, then held them with one as he wrapped a short rope from his pocket around them and the bars of her bed. Tenele jerked her arms, trying to get them loose, wiggling her wrists until the were sore.

Sekushi sat back and looked at her, her eyes fiery with hate. “Don’t touch me, pig!” she growled and spat at him.

His hands moved down her arms. She stiffened uncomfortably when they skimmed over the sides of her breasts and down her sides and her hips. “I got to thinking about this,” he said and moved the edge of the skirt and panties on one side down a little to see the tattoo she had. “Where I had seen it... On the front of the palace in Lowight, Queen’s Maiden.”

“Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone... If you do everything I tell you too,” he told her..
