Heirot

Skye set Mitsukai down on the couch, not removing the dagger as the elven woman had ordered. He stroked her hair, comforting her. This was the second time she had been wounded on their search for a seer. He imagined she was terrified.

"What's your name?" he asked the savior.

"Gwendolyn," she called from the kitchen and soon came out with some clean linen bandages and herbs. "Now, stand back for this'll be difficult. There's enchantments on the dagger that wont allow me to remove it easily."

Gwendolyn gripped the hilt of the dagger firmly and started to tug on it. It didn't budge and only caused Mitsukai to cried out. Gwendolyn hushed her. "I know, sweety, I know. But I must." Again and again she tugged until it finally popped out of Mitsukai's arm and blood poured out. Using the linen bandages and herbs, gwendolyn quickly binded the wound.

"Take the dagger and burn it in the fire." she ordered Skye. "Quickly!" Once she ordered it, the hearth exploded in intense flame for Skye to throw the dagger within it.

While Gwendolyn tried to pull the dagger out, her tried to shush Mitsukai as he held her hand. She was in pain, and he hated it. Hopefully she wouldn't hurt for long. When she pulled the dagger out, he did as she said and threw it into the fire which appeared seconds before he threw it in. He then knelt next to Mitsukai again and gently stroked her face.

Mitsukai was so tired. She felt drained of all energy and she barely registered Skye's touch. Gwendolyn smiled at Mitsukai encouragingly.

"She'll feel better with rest and my special tea." Gwendolyn told them. Her special tea was enfused with herbs that would counteract the poisonous engravings. Instead of draining all life, it would enchance the life.

He smiled in thanks at the woman before returning his gaze back to Mitsukai. He should have known something was wrong. That feeling of dread was Elegorh all along. If he had said something, this could have been prevented.

"How are you feeling?" he asked her.

Mitsukai murmmered incohorrently then drifted to sleep.

"She is quite tired from her ordeal. She'll awaken again soon though." Gwendolyn told him. "By the Fates, you two remind me of my daughter and her friends!"

He smiled at the woman before turning back to Mitsuke, stroking her hair hently while she slept. "Your daughter... does she live with you?" he asked, trying to start conversation by showing interest. He partly wondered how how he and Mitukai reminded her of her daughter and these friends.

"No," Gwendolyn said, still smiling for she knew that even without seeing her daughter constantly, that she was alright. "But she was with me before. In another village, I don't live here. Just visiting." She was cheery and beckoned Skye to follow her into the kitchen.

"My daughter has a man herself," Gwendolyn turned to look at Skye. "But he's more serious than you. but they love each other, neither could hide that no matter how hard they tried."

Skye was hesitant on following her into the kitchen, not wanting to leave Mitsukai there alone. He eventually kissed her forehead and stood up to go into the kitchen with Gwendolyn. He would have asked where she was from, but he didn't want to be asking to many questions.

"Most guys are more serious than me," he said, smiling.

Gwendolyn smiled, "I can see that." she stated. "And Mitsukai is very different than most girls." She wasn't questioning, she stated it as a fact. "I've seen winged girls, my daughter even befreinded one. But Mitsukai, is more than just a 'winged girl'."

Skye wasn't quite sure what she meant by this statement, but he looked back into the other room where Mitsukai was peacefully sleeping and smiled. "She's a very special girl," he said. "Such an innocent mind, much like a child. And she has such a warm heart. She tends to put others ahead of herself."

"A fallen would do that if she didn't understand." Gwendolyn said and turned to make tea within the kitchen. She began heating up the water and started to grind certain herbs together. "She'll awaken within the hour, you and I can sit and chat, you've been looking for me for a long time."

Skye was quite simple-minded, and he didn't know what she meant when she had said that he had been looking for her for a long time. What was she talking about?

"I have?" he asked, not putting any of what she had said together. He sat down at the table and looked at her cluelessly.

Gwendolyn blinked and turned to sit down at the table with him. "I am the seer Mitsukai was searching for." Gwendolyn looked at Skye seriously, wondering without prying how he had forgotten. Must've been the excitment of the events of today.

OOC: I know. XD I just kind of see Skye as very... simple-minded. Lol.

"The seer?" he asked, now putting it all together. He should have known... Duh, Skye.

"Mitsukai will be so happy to know that we've finally found you," he said, smiling lightly. "So you probably already know that we're looking for the little girl, Presea?"
