She smiled and took the blueberry he offered between her lips, drawing his fingers into the warmth of her mouth a little as she did. She chewed, appraising him in the dull gray light.

Her fingers trailed his cheek, and down his neck, over his shoulder and down his arm. "Let's go for a walk," she whispered. "Find someplace private? Maybe the waterfall?" She scooched closer to him until her warmth smoothed against him. "I miss you..."

Havi's skin buzzed everywhere she touched him. For weeks they'd been surviving here. He'd been in her constant presence, with barely a yard of cloth between the two of them. Her invitation pulled at his insides. She was right. If the others were trapped by the rain, they might have a few minutes of privacy, even if it meant they'd be completely soaked. "A walk," he agreed, his face close to hers so that their lips brushed. His hand wandered over her hip, sliding to her waist. "You may get wet," he whispered, and slid his tongue into her mouth.

Tenara kissed him, everything tightening low in her belly at his fingers trailing her hip and waist. "Hmm," she murmured against his lips, grinning as she took his hand and slipped it down to the warmth of her inner thigh. "I hope so." She kissed him again and resisted the urge to press further when they were so exposed. Instead, she slipped to her feet and pulled him out into the rain. She pressed a finger to her lips, hoping they might sneak away while everyone was still drowsy and unsuspecting.

Havi followed her like a magnet through the rain. After a few yards, he swept her up into his arms and carried her, partly to protect her feet from the mud and partly just to feel her softness pressed to his bare skin. He carried her until he thought they were beyond view and earshot from the shelters, and then let her down to stand on the mossy ground near the spring. The area where they stood was fairly well sheltered from the rain by a rocky overhang near the waterfall. They'd considered making their camp here, but the shore made it easier to watch for passing ships.

Havi paused to admire her rain-slick skin. "Please say what you wish of me," he said huskily.

Artisuren blinked slowly at the dim shelter around him. His horns tingled oddly, perhaps from the weather. He went to move his arm to touch them, but he realized Laurius had fallen asleep in the arch of his shoulder again. His head was pounding, something he hadn't experienced in a while. Usually physical contact with Laurius was enough to tame the bondsickness during the night. With a little light micromanagement and ordinary commands, Laurius had been able to keep his body stable. The man hadn't asked anything further of him. Not since the ship.

He noticed the man's breaths heating his bare skin, and shivered. It's not like he wanted the man to ask him to serve in that way. It was just this setting, being cooped up in a small space with nothing but the sound of rain and the press of his body next to him... He shifted slightly, trying to relax again, but it was as though his thoughts couldn't stop going to the heat of his skin. He took a deep breath and tried to settle down, wondering if he'd eaten something weird the night before.

Tenara's gaze fluttered over him, admiring how drops of rain slid over his gray skin. Her own slip had gone translucent in the downpour, and water needed her shoulders, arms, and chest. She pushed strands of wet hair behind her ear before her fingertips trailed down his chest and belly, to the cloth making up what constituted trousers. "Take this off," she said, feeling warmth flush her rain-cooled skin. She stepped forward, lips tracing his pectoral, tongue-tasting raindrops on his skin. Her fingertips traced the edge of the cloth. "Your Yurivis is still hungry."

It had been weeks since they'd been together in this way, and while she still felt so uncertain about the blind devotion an Ivis had for their Yurivis, indulging his desire for one felt exciting in this instance. It could be a kink, if she thought of it like that, if she played into it…

---

Laurius sighed, stretching his arms above his head. His back really, really hated the earthen bed they'd made. Pillow-soft sand and banana leaves aside, it was still the fucking ground. He cracked an eye open, spotting Artisuren. "Morning," he mumbled, closing his eyes again. Another morning on their little—okay, large—island. He wondered at what point they should just assume they were stuck forever, and start building more permanent shelters, maybe figure out how to catch some of those wild birds and turn them into pillows... Laurius's entrepreneur brain was always churning out ideas, but he had yet to convince anyone to follow through with them. "You sick?" he cracked an eye open again. "You feel warm."

Havi made a low, huffing noise as her mouth found his chest. His hands obeyed her, unfastening the fabric at his waist. It clung wetly to his skin as he freed himself, caught on the sharpness of his desire for her. He stepped in so that his heat pressed against her slick skin, guiding her slowly back until her heels bumped the edge of a mossy rock. "Would you like to sit for me?" he asked her, his voice thick with meaning as he licked her ear, and then her neck. His fingers painted warm lines down her sides as he sucked hot rings on her skin, going lower.

Artisuren bit his tongue, embarrassed by his wandering thoughts. Perhaps it was to his benefit that he could monopolize his master here, but Laurius looked tired and uncomfortable. Surely the man wished to be back at his estate, with his other servants. If the kitchen servants' gossip was right, the staff at his home would be much better company for him. Every day they spent trapped here put that reality off a little longer. Was there any need to feel guilt over it when it was out of his control anyway?

"My skin just feels a bit strange lately. Probably just something on this island," he said. He turned his head halfway toward Laurius. "Is your neck bothering you again?"

Tenara closed her eyes, her breath quickening at the feel of his lips on her neck, trailing lower. She nodded, delirious with want, and gently lowered herself back onto the incline of the rock. Her feet rested against the soft moss at the foot of the rock. One of her hands curled in the wet slip clinging to her skin, and pulled it up slightly, exposing the warm curve of her thighs but mostly so she could move as she pleased. Her heart beat a deep rhythm in her chest, and every part of her hummed. She stretched her hand out and tugged the cloth clinging to his outstretched need, pulling it free of his damp skin and leaving it at her feet.

----

Laurius felt at his neck. It had healed rather well, considering the fact he'd been stabbed with a fountain pen. No stitching meant it still lingered, a hole closing slowly. It would scar. "It's better," he said, sitting up. "But, it wouldn't hurt to have something better to sleep on than these blasted banana leaves..." He was used to finer things. Maybe he was spoiled, or maybe he was just a realist. They were never getting home.

"Perhaps you should go take a bath in the sea. Saltwater might help your skin? Or maybe it's too much saltwater... Maybe a mud mask to help exfoliate... Plenty of mud today."

Havitharon's breath hitched as she pulled the damp fabric free of him. He kissed and licked at her chest until he came to the fabric of her slip. "Tenara," he huffed. His fingers trailed up the inside of her thighs and brushed over the slick heat between her legs. "You feel so..." He slicked his rigid desire along her thigh at the same time he sucked at her breast through the wet fabric of her slip. He finally clutched at the fabric and drew it over her head.

He threw the garment aside, already wrestling to hold back his selfish desires. He pressed his torso along hers and took a deep, calming breath.

_______

Artisuren sneered at Laurius. "A mud bath. Of course! But I could hardly indulge in such fucking luxury when my master deserves it more. Come, allow me to treat you." He wrapped his arms around Laurius's waist and began to shimmy him out the side of the tent.

Tenara leaned back against the cool, wet moss, soaking in the wicked attentions of his mouth and hands. Her own hands skimmed over him, nails scraping flesh feather-light. She grasped hold of the weight between his legs and huffed at the feel of it in her hands. “Havi…” she murmured, pressing her cheek against his hair and the angle of his horns as his lips explored her flesh. His calming breath made her feel as if he was steadying himself, struggling to stay composed. She didn’t want his composure. She wanted him unmoored. “It’s alright to be selfish with me,” she whispered to him. “It’s alright to give in to your wants.” She pressed a kiss to his hair, hand stroking over him. “I want them too.”

—-

Laurius let out a surprised yelp as Artisuren began to pull him out into the rain. He was torn between being highly amused by the man’s reaction and indignant that he was about to become soaked.

“Hey now!” he said, grabbing hold of a portion of his banana leaf bed and swatting at Ren before moving on to vainly use it as an umbrella of sorts. “I don’t need the mud. As you can see, I’ve got a flawless complexion.”

Havi's next attempt at a steadying breath deteriorated into a moan. She wanted his wants? It sounded backwards, and he should probably have felt guilty for just how badly it turned him on. Was it alright to be backwards? Was it fine for them to write their own rules to this game he'd always hated?

"I want them too," she whispered.

He pressed his forehead and dick into her stroking hands and grunted out a series of untranslated curses. He glanced up at her with heavy-lidded eyes, gold flashing at her beneath thick navy lashes. What happened if he said what he actually wanted? "I want to touch and lick you until your whole body asks for me," he said restlessly, his mouth moving lower on her stomach. His fingers slicked along the crease of her, dipping slightly. "I want to drink you here until you can't stop shaking your hips."

____________

Artisuren stopped his wrestling and settled backward again, allowing Laurius back inside. He'd lost his mind for a moment there. Perhaps he'd gotten over excited that Laurius seemed concerned for him, but he was coming back to his senses. Maybe a mud bath was a real thing, and not a joke. It was true his skin had darkened since they arrived here. He wondered what Laurius thought of it, but he didn't feel like hearing the answer to 'What kind of skin do you prefer? Alien gray, or dark alien gray?'

The strange itching burn in his skin reset his mind on his task. "If this is a prank, you can bet you're getting exfoliated in your sleep," he warned his master. He grabbed the shell of food, probably left by Thvoros, from outside the flap and set it beside Laurius, then crawled outside into the rain.

Tenara’s heart leapt a beat faster at his words, and a soft, eager, “Please,” fluttered from her lips. Then, she felt his fingers tease the edge of slipping inside and she moaned softly, hips rocking to meet their touch. Her legs fell open for him, her palm pressed to the top of his head and she gently pressed him down her belly towards the wet warmth between her legs. “There you go,” she whispered. “Have a taste.”

—-

“Mud baths are a real thing!” He called as Artisuren left before mumbling, “Though, I don’t know if it’ll help you…”

Her invitation was more than he could take. Havi knelt before her, pushing one of her thighs up until her foot perched on his shoulder. His mouth closed hungrily around her and sucked, pulling all her nerves to attention. Then his tongue slid forward slightly to a more specific target, and his fingers squeezed inside her.

__________

Artisuren walked slowly into the woods in the rain. It was clear Thvoros and the princess weren't in their tent, and he certainly didn't want to run into them, so he explored in the opposite direction of their footprints. He eventually found a part of the creek with enough room to sit that seemed sufficiently out of sight from the tents.

He was seriously about to try this nonsense. He removed his cut trousers and set them on a rock that seemed slightly less damp than the others, then sighed and sat down.

Tenara’s breath came heavy as she watched Havi guide her leg up and lower his mouth. Then, his tongue lashed over her and his deliciously long, thick fingers slipped inside. The world melted away. She forgot she was on a rock, on display for the world to find. Her heavy-lidded gaze fell shut, her head drifting back as soft, worshipful moan escaped her lips. Her fingers knotted in his hair and along one of his horns, and she stroked her palm over the ridges, brushing him, petting him, adoring him. Her hips rocked against his touch, and she tore her gaze from the rocky canopy to watch him, to memorize the look on his face with the sensations of pleasure arching through her.

"Havi," she hummed. "My Havi..." Her hand closed around his horn. "Give me what you want. Tell me what you want."

---

Laurius ate what Artisuren had slid his way, but the quite patter of rain on their shelter became a roar in his ears. It was too quiet. Was he really out there rolling in mud? The idea of Artisuren naked and covered in it should not have been the turn on that it was, but the feral, wildness of it pulled things tight low in his body. But, then, what if he was out there, naked, covered in mud? What if a boar decided to join him? Someone should really watch him. For his safety, Laurius thought.

He sighed, and slipped out of the shelter, glowering at the gray clouds hovering over them. They would move on soon, they always did, but it didn't make it any more annoying than it was. Not that he had much to keep dry, he thought, looking down at his tattered trousers turned into makeshift shorts. He set off in the direction he thought Artisuren might have gone, but the prints were muddled and he saw a smaller pair alongside them. Then, he came to a point where they split off, and only two pairs of equally-large footprints could be seen. The smaller ones were gone. Which ones were Artisuren's? He admired them. Back and forth, back and forth, until he chose, and started off.

Havi's thoughts bleached out for a moment when she touched his horn. For a split second, he remembered her above him on the boat, holding him by the horns while she brought the heavens down around them.

"Havi," she hummed. "My Havi..." Her hand closed around his horn.

He remembered the overwhelming ecstasy of existing only for her, the surreal feeling of being overwritten. Erased. The memory made him moan and break out in a cold sweat in the same instant.

He could accept it. This was his Yurivis. She had earned this role in his life. He had given it to her by his will. He clenched his eyes, bracing himself to submit to the pressure that might erase him as he'd always feared.

"Give me what you want. Tell me what you want."

Her will washed over him like wine, and it... huh?

Give me what you want? He paused and stared up at her, his dread washing into bafflement. His breath came deeper. It was beginning to sink in. She had the power to erase him, but she was subverting it... using it to engrave him on her instead.

Startled tears stung in his wide eyes. "I have what I want," he croaked out, stunned.
