"Oh, you're wearing that," he pointed out. Mizuki looked down and fingered the pendant around her throat. She smiled.

"I... doubt I'll ever take it off." She said truthfully.

Soran blinked, again taking her too literally at first. "Is the cord too tight? I can untie the binding," he said confusedly before her real meaning occurred to him. "Oh," he realized quietly. "It suits you well," he said honestly, his ears flushing again.

Mizuki laughed serenely and rested her head on Soran's shoulder. Her hands rested protectivly on Blade's back as he slumbered on them. She hummed momentarily, enjoying the warmth of his body so close to her's; his hair lightly brushing the top side of her forehead.

"Its perfect." she said, forgetting to point out what she was talking about.

Soran looked at her curiously as she nestled into his shoulder, not sure what she meant was 'perfect'. He watched her calmly, feeling content with her resting against him. He bit back another yawn.

Mizuki felt her eyelids become heavy. She snuggled against Soran happily, a smile played on her lips. She yawned sleepily and closed her eyes momentarily, but she fell asleep.

"Mizuki?" Soran said after a minute, getting no response. Tilting his head forward, he found that she was asleep. "Feh," he thought in amazement, shifting his weight sideways to let the sleeping half elf lie down. He supported her shoulders and set her down on her side on the couch. When he went to get up, however, he had a situation. His legs were pinned under hers, and he needed to lift hers out of the way to untangle himself, but his arm was trapped under neck, so he couldn't reach. Blade wriggled playfully between them and giggled at Soran happily.

"Sh. You think this is funny?" he whispered to the kid. Blade just grinned happily and curled into the front of his shirt. He looked from Mizuki to Blade uncomfortably. "No, let-.." Soran sighed and gave up. He didn't want to wake Mizuki, so he lay his head resignedly onto the couch and lay on his side facing Mizuki, watching her sleep. After a few minutes, he grew tired despite himself and nodded off as well.

Mizuki snuggled sleepily next to Soran and Blade cuddled between the two.

In the sweets shop Gwendolyn smiled broadly. "We can go home now." she announced and Naoki picked up her bags. "We'll see you at the house!" Gwendolyn called to Siren and Rai.

"Ahh... ok." Siren said, not sure what was going on, but suspecting that there might be a very red elf waiting back at the house for them. She grinned evily, looking at Rai as if begging the question of whether they should follow.

Rai finished her angel food cake and looked up with a closed mouth smile since her mouth was full of food. She had slight crums around her lips that she didn't no was there. Rai gave a quick nod to Siren to let her know she was ready to go and climbed out of the chair with the carmel apple in her hand, heading for the door.

Siren almost jumped out of her seat to follow when Rai got up. Her curiosity was getting the better of her. She hurriedly took the empty plate to the counter and set it there for the woman to clean, then grabbed the chocolates and dashed after Rai.

As she left through the door, she smiled back at the lady behind the counter and waved her thanks.

"I wonder what's going on back at the house!" She said once they were outside. She sounded like a school-girl again.

When Gwendolyn and Naoki entered the house, Gwendolyn put a finger to her lips telling Naoki to be quiet. They passed through the living room and Naoki almost burst out laughing seeing Soran and Mizuki on the couch sleeping but Gwendolyn quieted her fast.

They rushed into the kitchen and began making dinner.

Toby seemed very happy after getting his carmel apple. She giggled as he tried to get the sticky stuff from around his mouth. "Toby you messy dog!" Rai said and laughed as she ran into the house, Toby nipping playfully at her heals. She put a finger over her mouth and showed him that Soran and Mizuki were sleeping.

"Awww...." she said and tip toed over to them. "How sweet..." she whispered softly, petting the top of Toby's head. "Siren come look...."

Siren entered the room stealthily and peered over the couch with Rai. "So cute!!" she whispered, trying not to squeal. She turned to Rai and stuck her tongue out.

"I wonder how they're planning to play this one off... Maybe we need some evidence?" Siren stood up and tip-toed into the kitchen.

She propositioned Gwendolyn for some paper and a pencil then crept back into the room and started drawing, peering over the couch to get a good look, then squatting again to dootle. When she was done she had a very poorly drawn picture of the tree snuggled up on the couch together.

She took the picture and, trying her best to be quiet, laid it on the table near the couch. As she passed in front of the sleeping figures, she inadvertantly blocked a beam of light for a moment that resumed its place across the sleeping pair's faces when she tried to get away again.

OOC: I'll try and draw the really bad picture =p shouldn't be too hard, right? haha

Soran's face twitched slightly as some faint disturbance provoked his senses slightly. He raised one eyelid, half awake but too comfortable to be truly aware of his surroundings, and rediscovered the sleeping form whose face was resting just below his, her head resting lightly on his arm.

'Really, what am I doing?' he criticized to himself, staring carefully at the figure resting in his arms, but all he could feel at the moment was a sense of intuitive rightness. He would deal with the consequences later. For now, he just wanted to stay like this, if only for a short while longer. Unaware that anyone else was present in the room, he slid his head forward so that his nose and lips rested against Mizuki's hair and took a deep, calming breath, letting himself sink the rest of the way into sleep again.

OOC: Must...resist...urge...to GLOMP!!

Blade squirmed between them, sucking his thumb and staring at Soran with interest. Mizuki shifted in her sleep, waking up slightly but feeling so comfortable she just kept her eyes closed.

She felt Blade against her and Soran's warm presence also beside her. When she shifted her head Soran's lips pressed lightly against Mizuki's head and she opened her eyes slightly. She stared at Soran's chest before sighing and closing her eyes again. '10 more minute's...' she thought sleepily.
