Skye wactched the man that had come in. "I wonder what happened to him," he said as he was rushed out of sight.

Mitsukai hummed in response to Skye's question. From beyond their vision, Elgorh was being treaded by the tenates at the inn. He was their frequent and best customer, so he was treated with the utmost respect no matter what.

"Is there anything else I may get you sir?" asked one of the young female maids.

"Non." he responded dully. "Just leave me to recover." The maid nodded quickly and left him there on the sofa in the lounge room. They all knew that when he wanted to be alone, he wanted to be alone. Elgorh seethed in his failure. 'If that damned elf hadn't appeared out of nowhere!' he kept thinking. His master hadn't been pleased when he came to, now Elgorh had to mercilessly kill this fallen...

...or his soul will her her place.

IC: Skye wouldn't have worried any more about the man who had been brought in, but he suddenly had a bad feeling about it. Inside his head, a thousand voices were screaming at him, telling him that something was wrong. He wondered if Mitsukai felt the same way about any of it.

"Is it just me," he asked, "or do you have a bad feeling about that guy that just came in here?"

Mitsukai hummed again. She shrugged, trying not to think negative. "He's probably just some local marital arts student." she said, trying to shrug the man off but she was getting a chilly feeling too. She assumed she was cold. She got up from her chair and smiled down at Skye.

"Let's go see our room!" she said cheerily.

"Yeah," he said returning her bright smile. He stood up and grabbed her hand, holding it tightly in his. Though, as he walked up the stairs, he still had a bad feeling. One of those gut feelings. He didn't want to worry Mitsukai, though, so he he said nothing more of it.

Mitsukai followed Skye up the stairs. She could sense he was still uneasy about that man. So, she wrapped her arms around him and kissed his cheek.

"Shall I lull you to sleep tonight?" she asked him mischeviously.

Skye wrapped one arm around her waist and kissed her lightly on the lips. "No, not tonight," he said. "I'm not feeling so well."

He hated to dissapoint her, but he really wasn't feeling well. It had been a long day, after all.

"You should get some rest then." She said, not at all dissapointed. She kissed his cheek again and opened the door to their room once they ascended the stairs and walked a ways down the hall. There was still 3 hours of daylight left.

He smiled and walked into the room, almost immediantly pulling off his shoes. He then laid down on the bed, his head sinking into the nearest pillow. He closed his eyes, trying to rid of the feeling of dread that overcame him. There was nothing to worry about, so he didn't know why he was feeling this.

Mitsukai smiled at Skye as he settled down on the bed. She carefully walked to the window, so not to distrub him and looked outside. It was starting to get a little dark, the sky was turning the orange color it normally turns. It was always peacefull to watch the sunset.

Downstairs, Elgorh was relaxing his now small bruises in a hotbath in his confined quarters. Despite his normally guarded personality, he dropped his senses in order to relax his aching muscles. So he never sensed Mitsukai just a few floors above his room...

Running a hand through his messy, brown hair, he opened his eyes to see Mitsukai standing at the window. He smiled at her, not worrying as much now as he was. She looked so peacful at the moment, watching the sunset. He then stared at the ceiling, letting his thoughts wander to Presea, how she was doing and where she was.

Mitsukai thought Skye was asleep, so she slipped into the bathroom and proceeded in pumping the tub full of water. Too impaitent to manually cast a fire, Mitsukai instantly heated the water up to her perferred tempature and stripped herself of her clothing. They were grimy and needed mending. Her wings could use a good scrubbing too. So, she excitedly set to work on cleaning herself and her belongings.

Skye had almost fallen asleep when he heard someone walk into the bathroom. Hearing that Mitsukai was taking a bath, Skye grinned mischeviously and tiptoed into the bathroom. Maybe he could scare her...

He walked quietly inside then came up behind her.

Mitsukai squeaked as Skye came up behind her. The shirt she was trying to wash flew out of her hands and onto Skye's head.

"I'm sorry!" she gasped, smiling.

Skye laughed lightly and took the shirt off his head, water dripping from his dark brown hair. He tossed the shirt back into the water and ran a hand through her hair.

"Don't be sorry," he said, smiling. "That's what I get for scaring you."
