Talon smiled at the young monk and shook his head, staring at him with his silver eyes as he pulled the paper back, slipping it into his pocket with a smooth gesture as if he were smoothing out his clothes. "It was the best you could do I guess, considering that is... I am glad you at least let us stay the night to allow Lady Shinobu and her bodyguard time to recover... at least enough to travel..."

Shinbo walked up to her horse and grabbed the horn, lifting a foot slowly to place in the stirrup. She pulled herself into the saddle slowly.

Kami and Kaze joined up with the others. Kaze was already mounted but she looked no one in the eyes when she joined them. Her focus was set straight ahead to the trees of the forest... Maybe even past them because her eyes now seemed to go out of focus; a glazed expression.

Something nagged at the back of her mind to avoid the trees straight ahead....

Kyosuke tried to hop onto the horse, behind Shinobu. Unfortuneately, his skill with horses still had not improved, and instead he took yet another tumble from the back of a horse, though this time he wasn't even on it when he fell. Getting up unceremoniously, he sighed and wondered if he would ever be able to deal with horses. In fact, he seemed to be getting worse with them as time went by.

"I'm out of here," Vlad said disdainfully, riding ahead and leaving through the gates, though he did not miss the worried, anxious expression that one monk cast toward him as he passed. The monk glanced from him to Talon pointedly, then disappeared into the throng. The horses went into motion, and moments later, the gate was closed behind them. Straight ahead lay a dirt path which, they had been instructed, forked several miles ahead. The leftmost fork was to lead them north until they would find a sign directing them to Hepian. Altogether, it was estimated that they could arrive sometime a few hours past nightfall if they rode all day.

"Talon," Nickole whispered, "how long before we arrive at Hepian, and what do you want me to do in the mean time?" She was happy to be back with her newest friend, even if he was a bit preoccupied.

"We should arrive by night," he said, smiling softly to her. "I don't really know what you could do in the mean time," he told her truthfully. "There isn't really anything to do except walk and talk..."

Shinobu held her hand down to him again, her eyes tired, but her smile soft and warm. "Here, let me help you," she said to him.

Kaze started glaring at the trees before them. Kami shook his head worriedly as if to ask her, 'what's wrong?'

"Those tree's are bothering me." Kaze said absentmindedly to herself and Kami.

Kyosuke grinned wider as he supressed the slight blush that was rising in his face. He took Shinobu's hand and hopped onto the horse. "Thank you Shinobu-dono," he said, setting himself on the horse. He then went back to thinking about the battle the night before, trying to find a weakness in his technique, or a reason why he became so injured.

Nickole stopped hovering, and landed softly on Talon's shoulder. "Okay, then, boss...lead on. I'll be going as far as you do," she chuckled.

Ylia mounted her horse gracefully and landed with a slight thud. She was a bit tired, but now all she'd have to do was sit, so she was content to be on the road with Talon again... With Talon? Where'd that thought come from? Shaking it off, Ylia leaned down and patted her stallion's muscular, white neck. She sat up and breathed in the fresh air... such a drastic change from the stale draft in the monastary.

Yes, she decided, I'm ready to go again...

Vlad rode next to Talon's horse, looking off into the distance. He decided to be nice and tell Talon what his senses were picking up ahead. "Hey, wise and trusted leader, there's an evil presence surrounding us," he said indifferently as they moved into a stand of dark evergreens.

Kaze's ears picked up Vlad's words. 'So he notices it as well?' she thought. She looked ahead again towards the tree's and Kami suddnely stopped, jerking her foreward. His ears went back and he was backing up anxiously, making noises. Kaze tried to calm him but it was no good.

A rustling in in the tree's caught her attention and she looked up.

OOC: Soran and I would like to call this... "The Heirot version of Playboy Bunnies..."

Talon whistled once, it was a high whistle, sounding much more like a flute. Nothing happened, which made it look odd that he would whistle. But, then a shimmering sliver hawk flew onto his arm as he held it out.

"Ethir, en ten ner rashwe," he said to the bird. The hawk made a sound and took off from his arm, flying a head in the road.

It was quiet when it happened, but it was quite unusual when a very pretty rabbit with white wings flew down in front of the group. Its beedy little eyes looked at them and blinked. Then in a rush of smoke the bunny disappeared and in its place was a beautiful woman with red eyes and long white hair. She wore an outfit that barely covered anything. It was made of white bunny fur and in the back she had a white cotton tail, just like a bunny rabbit.

She giggled and batted her eye lashes. "My... my... What brings you to this forest?" she asked, walsing over to Vladimir and leaning close to him. Her lips were glossy and she had pink eye shadow that was sparkly. "I like you..." she said, dragging a long pink figernail across his face and down to his chin. "Don't you want to kiss me?"

Kyosuke blinked a few times at the appearance of a half naked bunny woman. After the confusion wore off, he blushed redly and turned his face away, determined not to look. He distracted himself by recalling the events of the battle the night before, right up until the point he was knocked out.

Kaze blinked at the woman. Beneath her, Kami snorted. Either it was anger or the showing of affection towards this skantily clad woman, Kaze didn't know. But it made her angry and she lightly tapped his sides.

Her definition of 'lightly' is grossly different from Kami's definition. The poor horse Kami, lurched forward from the action and stopped when Kaze pulled on the reins. Glaring at the woman, clearly not liking her presence, Kaze spoke up icily.

"Who are you and what do you want with us?"

The bunny/lady tilted her head towards Kaze and arched an eyebrow. "You? I want nothing of you... but, him..." she said, smirking and touching Vladimir's face. "And maybe the elf... but I'm not to found of things that smell of hero... I like bad boys..." She giggled, batting her eye lashes again.
