Thomas waited until the blindfold was tied properly. He knew the drill. They would take him to a place, and he couldn't see where they were going. luckily, he would memorize his steps just in case he need to get back. But he would follow their rules while he was there.

Carnthir couldn't lead Thomas straight to Camthalion though. He led him all over the forest for a couple of hours. He in reality they hadn't traveled far, but the it would seem they had walked for leagues.
They finally came to a set of stairs that led up into the treetops. Once at the top, Carnthir removed the blindfold to reveal the beautiful city of Camthalion. It was amazing that such a place could exist without being found by anyone other than the elves that lived there. The city seemed to glow in the sparkling moonlight.

Thomas was held in awe about the place, "..Wow..And I thought the guild was amazing..This is incredible..."

"I'm glad you like it," Carnthir replied. "Make yourself comfortable and walk around. I must inform my parents of you."
Carnthir bowed and parted ways with Thomas. He headed to the palace at the center of the city.

Thomas walked around, taking in everything. However, he was stared at as an oddity to the wood elves, who hadn't seen a human in a long time. The elven children laughed and followed him. Thomas smiled, remembering the time when he was young. Of course, that was before...The guild, he said to himself. He wouldn't remind himself of the bad times, for they were over.

Carnthir walked through the crowd of elves, bowing occasionally. He soon found himself at home and in front of the cities main palace. Though he was of the ruling family, he didn't boast.
"Mother," he said kissing her cheek. He turned to the king, "Father." He bowed.
He quickly explained his story to his parents and they arranged for a meeting with the human. Carnthir bowed and went on his way to find Thomas.

Thomas found an archery range, smiling and watching the elves practice. One of them, the youngest of the group asked, "Sir, can you use that bow on your back?" Thomas shrugged, "Somewhat. I'm no master." He was humble when it came to his skills, and wasn't one for showing off.

"Yes, can you?" Carnthir asked as he stepped up beside him. Carnthir was the lead archer of Camthalion and never found anyone to match his skill with a bow. The air was warm and soft on Carnthir's face. He truly loved his home and found much comfort there.
"Let's see what you've got," An elf set two targets up at the end of the archery range. Carnthir pulled an arrow from its quiver.

Thomas sighed, "I'm not very good. I don't think I'd stand very well against an elf, especially in archery." He did draw his bow and pulled an arrow from his quiver.

Carnthir didn't argue. He didn't think the human could out shoot him. This was his specialty. No one could beat him. Only a few, even among the elves could shoot with his distance and accuracy.
He did, however, want to see how Thomas faired. "You first," he insisted.

Thomas shrugged, "Very well." He pulled back on the bowstring, sighting down the shaft. He released the arrow and it sailed the distance and hit dead center.

Carnthir smiled. He was quite impressed. "Not bad."
He pulled he pulled back the string and sighted in his target. With a quick release, the arrow found its target, splitting Thomas' into shreds.
"Shall we go farther?" the same elf from before set up two more targets at about 120 yards away.

Thomas took careful aim and fired. It wasn't dead center, but it obviously hit the bullseye, and was close to dead center.

Carnthir nodded.Thomas was really gifted with his bow, especially for a human. Carnthir turned to Thomas as he loosed his second arrow. He didn't turn back to his target, instead just stared to his right where the human stood. The Arrow hit dead center and before anyone really had a chance to see it hit, another arrow hit Thomas' target shaving off an edge, and finding the center.

Thomas thought, "Where did the other arrow come from?" Thomas hadn't seen if Carnthir had shot the arrow or not.
