Lore: The Hunger Within
Presea blinked blankly at the people within the dimmly light tavern. Borel refrained from saying a word and kept quiet once again.
"Would you like something to eat? Or drink?" the woman was asking them. Presea had found that her name was Rouge. Presea looked up at her and the man without flinching at his intimidating or possibly frightening presence. Soulessness caused dead emotions.
"Water." she said softly. She barely ever ate. Her body not demanding much now besides water sustinence. How else would she recover her soul if she dropped from dehydration?

Rogue directed Presea to the bar where she instructed the tender to bring her a cold glass of water. He slid the glass down the bar. Rogue stopped it with one hand, something her reflexes were used to doing. She handed it over to Presea and said," I promise...there's nothing in it. It's pure water. So, tell me a little about yourself."
As she said this Lathan came over and said his goodbye to them both. He winked at Presea," I hope to see you again, soon."
He walked out of the tavern while Rogue waited for Presea's reply.

"About...myself..." Presea echoed Rouge's words like they were foreign to her. She held her cold glass of water like it was her lifeforce. Borel urged her to speak from his position at her waist. "I.. don't remember much of my past life... I just remembering people in white coats..." Her eyes glistened in her memory, the emotionless little girl felt as if she was re-living it. "The people in white coats are surrounding me, they probe me with knives and someone in a black cloak waves his hands over me and there's blinding pain..." crystaline tears fall from her eyes unnoticed. "Then suddenly... there's nothing..only destruction.."
Rogue sat where she was motionless, speechless. She ran her finger along the lip of the bottle sitting in front of her, placed there by Lathan before he left. She glanced down and bit her lip,"Hmm...that must have hurt. What'd they do to you?"she asked hoping Presea wouldn't mind telling her. Rogue was a curious creature and didn't mind listening to anyone's problems.
Presea fell silent. Her grey and dead-like eyes stared at the bar table. It was Borel who spoke up for her to tell the rest of the tale.
"They robbed her of her soul." he spoke up from below, at her waist. "...I died defending her." He looked up at Rouge with his black glassy eyes. "Someone... had tried to save us, but all she had managed to do was replace my own soul in a teddy bear." He fell silent for a moment before continuing, he had checked Presea to see if she was alright but she didn't seem to be responding to the tale anymore. "Presea now has a diificult time showing emotion. She's almost like a shell of herself... some emotions break through but they are only the ones of sadness."

Borel looked at the vampire with new light in his black glass eyes. "We would have to come with you." Borel said, with new seriousness. "I know each face that had been there and.." he didn't finish it. Presea stepped down from her chair, her water only half finished. She unstrapped her giant axe and swung it a few times causing some people to gasp and move farther away from her.
"I have to sharpen my axe." Presea said without much interest. "It's not slicing the air."

Rogue, stunned, stood up quickly with reflex. This girl was so disturbed it had caused her to block out any kind of emotion. It was weird. She ducked to sharp blade and laid a hand on her forearm. "Come on. I'll take you somewhere that could be a little safer," she looked around the room with a humorous gaze,"for everyone."
She smiled and made her way to the door.

Rogue wondered the streets it seemed for hours. Lurking in the shadows with Presea and Borel following her. Evil was leading the way, for he knew his way home. He had been lonely sitting outside the tavern for so long and leeped for joy when he saw his master coming outside, ready to leave.
When the group had reached a set of iron gates, seemingly hidden in the thick forest brush, Rogue looked around with cautious eyes. She pulled away the vines and pushed on the gates. She let Presea enter first. "Right this way," she said welcomingly.
When Presea and Borel finally entered the grounds Rogue looked around one last time to make sure no one saw. She, then, slipped inside herself with Evil in front of her.
A dark mansion with gargoles and foutains loomed around them. "This," Rogue smiled," is Midnight Manor. My home."

OOC: Woopsee, sorry ^_^; I get blinded by other threads. Course, I'll be disapearing again for a week though...
IC: Presea looked around the dark mansion. Had she feeling, she probably would've been awed. Borel made up for her though.
"This is, an amazing place." he said. His old knightly ways coming through once again, even in such a small and... cuddlely form.
