Lore: (mature)To The End of The World part 1
Kat looked uncertain at the trees branches. It couldn't possibly be as safe as he was insisting. But, Kat followed him the best she could up the tree. Following his example and grabbing branches above her and lifting her weight-with the help from her legs- up to the branch. It was hard work, Kat didn't remember doing anything this hard.
Finally, she got up to the branchnext to Drakoe's and panted heavily as she sat on it, clinging to the tree trunk.
"That was hard," she said breathlessly.

OOC: Crap, I didn't even see this. ^_^;
Kat sighed heavily and let Drakoe guide her to the very place he wanted her to be. Tree climbing was a new experience for her, but she was amazed that she hadn't fallen off yet. When they reached the perfect spot Drakoe wanted her to see, Kat fell in love and immediantly appluaded herself for managing the climb. The scenery was breath taking and Kat breifly wondered if he was witnessing something beautiful like this as well...
Her eyes danced in her memories and she momentarily forgot where she was.

OOC: lol sure, we'll have to do a time jump then cause he planned to be gone for a few weeks.
A few weeks passed, and both Dan and Drakoe were still in the oasis in the forest. But Kat had forgotten about Zeikiel's warning. She was enjoying herself as she had their company, their conversations made her feel whole again.
But, as Kat served the two their noontime meal, Zeikiel barged in. His face as hard as stone, and eyes like ice. But they flared fire as he noticed Dan and Drakoe were still here. He snarled, making Kat jump.
"Why are they still here?" he roared.

"Dear me. Have I outstayed my welcome?" Dan murmured, her voice mild, and accepted the food from Kat with a quiet word of thanks. "Dreadfully sorry. I find my ability to pick up on social cues is appallingly lacking - quite sad, really." She raised her eyebrows slightly and flashed a faintly insolent smile.
Zeikiel clenched and unclenched his fists. His mind told him to lash out, but something held him back. During his time away he had isolated himself to meditate, to regain his composture that he had obviously lost since taking the human, Kat, in. He had gotten to soft hearted in his desire to understand how the girl had gotten past his sheild alive. his Master warned him about these people, they meant no good.
Marching towards Kat, who stood where she stood, speechless, Zeikiel grabbed her roughly by the arm and jerked her about to face him.
"Your a slave, you do as you're told or suffer consequences. How have your master's treated you when you diobeyed? Not pleasant I would guess. I will be much more worse than they." He warned in a low growling tone that cause tears to spill form Kat's eyes. He was bruising her arm, it hurt so much but she dared not cry out.

"Zeikiel." Dan's tone was reasonable and innofensive - around a core of steel. "It is your right as a slave owner to punish Kat however you see fit." She didn't like the practice, herself, but it would do no good to deny that. "But you must realize that her usefulness to you will be impaired if you don't treat her reasonably. Too severe punishments too frequently and you may break her spirit to the point that she will never be able to tell you what you want to know. And I can't imagine what she can have done wrong now. Maybe you told her to get rid of us, but really, she's a scrap of a thing. She couldn't hope to fend me or Drakoe off if we wanted to stay. Which we did." She had carefully phrased her argument in the most cynically practical terms she could, as she rather suspected Zeikiel was not interested in an emotional appeal. "If you have a quarrel, I request that you take it up with me."
Drakoe new that by law, Zeikiel could do to Kat what he pleased; however he didn't agree with slavery at all. Therefore he couldn't help but to get pissed at the beasts actions. He did see that Dan was trying to keep a little peace amongst them all.
He through a quick glance to Dan then back to Zeikiel. "I would suggest you take your agression out on us and not the poor girl." His face was cold and full of hate.

Zeikiel gave them a wicked smile. "So you want me to leave her be?" his tone was dangerous and mocking. He jerked Kat around to face them and let go of her arm. "Alright then, Kat," he ordered, "Go to them since they know a much better way to deal with slaves than I."
Kat, confused and frightened, hesitated and stared at her Master. Zeikiel stared back, his face stone cold but his eyes flaring. Kat was so afraid of those eyes that she gasped then moved to go to Drakoe's side, but Zeikiel snapped his fingers and she fell to the ground, immoble.
"Stay there until we're done....talking..."
