Mitsukai shook her head as they descended the stairs. "It doesn't matter anymore anyway." she pointed out. "We're leaving now. And after two days we can fly to the border!!" she gave Skye a happy smile.

Locaille walked slowly around the large central room, pressing stones into the walls and floor until the various massive stone doors shut, locking the complex down for safety. The last door was closed from the inside by IT, who slid through some tiny cracks to return to Locaille, and they walked up the stairs to the tower where the Reaper wass waiting impatiently.

"IT. Roc." Locaille said softly and IT formed himself into the massive bird of legend beneath Locaille and the Reaper. "Onwards." Locaille said from his seat on IT's now massive back, and the huge daemon flew off into the sky

"Young love." Locaille said with reproach before he smiled softly. "It's so easy to manipulate, it almost loses its appeal."

"Yeah..." Skye said, returning her smile, not paying attention to anything else but her. He wrapped an arm around her as they descended down the stairs. "So, what are we going to do for two whole days? Check out the village?"

Mitsukai thought for a moment and absently drumed her fingers on her stomach. "We could check out the town," she said and pushed back her white hair behind her ear. "And maybe stay there for the two days. I'd.. rather not keep going on foot." Combat boots, as cool as they are, weren't as comfy and they hurt her feet.

Skye nodded and smiled. "I hope there's something fun we can do. These past few weeks have been boring, haven't they?" He tiltedshis head and layed it on top of hers.

((OOC: I'm guessing that's how long it's been.. a few weeks... ._.;;; ))

OOC: lol, probably. I don't keep track of RPG world time! =P

They had finaly reached the end of the stairs. Mitsukai smiled and kissed Skyes cheek as they walked the path towards the road. When they reached the intersection there were two signs. One pointed south and said: 'To the Border'. The other pointed North towards the desert, and they did not want to go back there.

"Let's go down here." Mitsukai said, pointing down the southern road.

Skye nodded and walked with her down the southern road. He gazed briefly at his surroundings, since he had never been here before. Then, he looked back at Mitsukai and smiled.

"I still can't get over it. You're going to be able to fly soon!"

Mitsukai smiled brightly then continued down the direction she pointed in. The air was crisp and fresh as they ventured further into the mountainous border. Periodicaly, Mitsukai flexed her wings, testing them. they didn't reach a town until nightfall and Mitsukai's stomach rummbled.

"I'm hungry.." she said poking her stomach.

"Me, too," Skye said.

They walked through the town, and Skye scanned the area for an inn or any place that would have food. He spotted and inn and tugged gently on Mitsukai's arm.

"Here, Suk!"

Mitsukai looked over and smiled. She ran over to the inn and looked around it's lobby. There wasn't much too it, but the sweet smell of cooking food made her over look the peeling paint and she went straight towards the clerk for a room.

The clerk was all smiles and very generous, he'd take anything for some costumers. After purchasing a room for them, a waitress guided them to a table.

Skye was very tired from walking so far, and it had been a long day anyway. He sat down at the table and propped his elbows up on the table, resting his head in his hands.

"What would you two like to eat?" the waitress asked kindly.

Mitsukai grinned and ordered a big dinner. She was starving and after the waitress took her order and turned to SKye, she stared dreamily at Skye.

Skye lifted his head up and smiled at her. "What?" he asked as he noticed how starry-eyed she looked at him.

Mitsukai giggled and the waitress 'humphed' impaitently. Even with a pretty face, she wasn't going to wait forever on this guy. Mitsukai looked up and sensed the waitresses impaitnce and kicked Skye's leg gently.

"I'll have the same thing then," he said, not wanting the waitress to wait any longer on him. Then, he gently kicked her back and smiled.
