(Mature) Overrun City

[Emora Deen]

"Thanks," Shinobu tells him and takes the soap from him. She begins to wash herself much as Kyosuke had done, taking some soap to wash her hair. She dips her head in the water to rinse the suds. "I do feel cleaner." When she's through she throws the soap towards shore and begins to swim in circles.

[Kyosuke]

"Yeah, you're telling me," Kyosuke says, once again gazing in Shinobu's direction. The situation is definitely different than yesterday. Now he can see much more than the outline of her body. There's an almost familiar look in his eyes now, similar to the one the scout had given her earlier only... coupled with actual affection... and with some small measure of reluctance.

Shinobu glances at him, swishing back and forth in the water, and swaying gently closer. She moves in and kisses his lips firmly, her body brushing up against his. She swims away from him with a playful laugh, heading towards shore.

[Kyosuke]

As Shinobu's lips meet his, Kyosuke's body heats up with desire, desire he almost feels guilty experiencing. But he can't help it. Before he can wrap her up in a hug, she's already swimming away, and the samurai can't help but smile and swim after her, grabbing at her playfully from behind.

[Emora Deen]

Shinobu laughs when Kyosuke catches her, and she playful tries to escape his grasp. The water helps and she manages to wiggle free, diving back for the deep end. She remembers that he was hurt, and that she shouldn't make him run so hard, so she slowly moves back to the shallow end of the water, rising out towards land, giving him a gentle smile. "You should probably rest," she tells him softly, moving in to kiss his lips. "The water is probably good for your wounds."

[Kyosuke]

As Shinobu draws closer, Kyosuke wraps her up in a light hug. He feels more at ease with her in his arms, less guilty for earlier. "Mmm, the water is good for my knee, hot water would probably be better for the other aches and pains," he says in between small kisses. He draws back after a few more and finally decides to address his emotions. At least it'll make him feel better. "I'm sorry I couldn't protect you earlier, Shinobu."

"I think you did protect me," Shinobu tells him with a gentle smile. "You cannot be perfect all the time, and I think your track record speaks of how wonderful you are at it. Please do not feel bad, Kyosuke... I am thankful for you." She hugs his neck tightly, drawing her body into a smooth line with his. She kisses his cheek and then his lips.

[Kyosuke]

Somewhere in his mind, Kyosuke knew it. He did, but he felt like he still needed Shinobu's forgiveness. It... seems to lift a weight off the samurai's chest, though he still has a few misgivings, but he's too sensible to disagree with her words. He returns the kisses, his desire heated body pressed up against Shinobu's.

Shinobu drew away slightly. "You probably shouldn't do anything too strenuous considering the condition of your body," she told him softly. "Not saying that I don't want to... but... I just don't want to hurt you." She touched his face gently before wrapping her arms around his neck tighter.

[Kyosuke]

Kyosuke wants to as well... Not that it's hard for Shinobu to figure that out, pressed up against him like that. He offers no protest though, just hugging her tighter. "Can you stay in my arms for a little while then?" he asks, then hugs her in a way that shows how reluctant he is to let her go.

Shinobu nods with a smile, moving to rest her head against his shoulder. Her wet hair fans out over her shoulder and clings to his body as well. She sighs softly, moving to kiss his shoulder gingerly while he holds her. "Its tempting to stay this close to you," she admitted to him with a playful laugh.

[Kyosuke]

Still not letting go, Kyosuke finds a place shallow enough that he can sit with Shinobu in his arms. He kisses her on the cheek once, then quickly on the lips. "It's nice being this close to you too."

Shinobu smiles gently and shifts to where she straddles his lap lightly. She kisses his lips. "This is nice," she replies, currently not thinking of how provoking the position she chose is. Being like this with Kyosuke makes it hard to remember that their are Akren soldiers lurking in the woods, that her Lord the Shogun is wondering unprotected in a foreign country, and that her home country has been overrun. Being with him distracts her for the bad, and feels her with the good.

[Kyosuke]

Although Kyosuke has some amount of loyalty to his home, his loyalty is more to the woman currently resting in his arms... and on his lap. Indeed, their position is quite provocative, and Kyosuke obviously yearns for her, but he's not going to push it, not if she's worried for his sake. He just continues to rest against her, idly thinking about their course of action.

Shinobu leans her head back against Kyosuke's shoulder gently and closes her eyes, resting there. "You can hold me anytime you want," she tells him with a soft smile. "Not just here and now..." Shinobu kisses his neck, sighing against his skin. "I want you," she admits, her cheeks flushing. "I've thought it more than I care to mention today. And it is too tempting to sit in your lap. I don't want to add to the abuse you received today... Shall I go wait for you on land?"
