The Hunted
Re: The Hunted
Blade sat in the sitting room next to his bedroom that Rai slept in. He was reading a history book, and it was making him fall asleep. 'Stupid...history...' he thought, trying hard not to nod off.

Re: The Hunted
Rai's eyes came open after just a few minutes. She rolled over on her back, looking up at the ceiling. She felt like she had been sleeping for a while.
Stretching, she spread her arms above her head. Rai rolled out of bed, stooping to grab her cloak up in her arms. She opened the door, poking her head into Blade's study before she stepped into the room. "How long before mother and father get here?"

Re: The Hunted
Blade had been dosing, and Rai's entrance startled him. He jumped in his chair, his wings ruffled and spread out. He calmed when he saw Rai.
"Ahem..." he cleared his throat, stood up and smoothed out his wings the best he could. "It may be a few hours. They have to make sure the skies are safe and that dad wont... attack." He laughed at the thought of Soran attacking the people trying to rescue him. He hoped having Siren go would calm him. Siren had always talked about her adventures with them, and how she loved Soran and would've followed him anywhere. Loved Mizuki like a sister.
Blade took a quick looked outside. The largest window in the sitting room gave him a view over the town square. The roads were plowed for the citizens to walk about. The man-made lake was partially frozen as well. He looked to where the suns position would be, it wasn't noon yet.

"Blade," Rai said as she stepped forward. "You don't have to worry about me. I am a brave girl. If there is something you need to do, go on. I can find something to entertain me." She smiled at him, placing a hand on his shoulder. "I promise not to get into trouble. I might go into the village, if thats okay? Look at the shops maybe? Even if I can't buy anything."
