"What are you suggesting?" the vampire purred, nosing along her neck and into her shirt. "I think you should have some more ale," he proposed innocently into the fabric.

"Vladimir Dracul," Tenele scolded, pushing against him to sit up. She smirked as she reached out for her drink and took several more sips. "Are you trying to get me drunk?" She put her finger up and then the mug to her lips. She drank until she came up for air, setting the mug down again. "Half gone," she announced, and then laughed. "I should not have done that."
The beautiful woman reached forward for the collar of her husband's shirt. She drew him back to her, pressing her lips to his in a heated kiss. "Alone in the dark with a vampire," she whispered. "What could happen, indeed."

Vlad grinned wickedly and kissed her again, enjoying the alcohol on her breath. Ten minutes later, he'd stolen the majority of her clothing and lost his shirt somewhere along the way, the good silk lying loose in the grass next to her dress. He breathed heavily against her skin and sucked at her neck as he lay over her, trapping her beneath him. "My love," he smiled. This is a most excellent festival."

Tenele's breath came quick as she kissed him, enjoying the feel of the warm night air on her skin. Her beautiful hair all pinned up was starting to fall out, with more strands of silver falling loose. She felt dizzy from the drink, but not so much so that this wasn't enjoyable. "I'm glad you're enjoying it," she mused. "You haven't even played a game yet, or eaten." She laughed, covering her mouth because she thought it might be too loud and draw attention to them. Not that, Vlad would mind. Hell, not that she minded at the moment either. Vlad had a way of making her forget her desire to be inconspicuous.

Vlad grinned. "It is unsportsmanly to play a game you can't lose," he bragged, waving a hand dismissively at the festival in the distance while licking her neck with much greater focus. "The wine doesn't seem very strong to me. I'd better give it a better shot." He rummaged for his mug in the grass and drew the remaining liquid easily into his throat. He drew her into his arms and ran his hands along her sides reverently. "I want to be inside you," he purred without any inhibition whatsoever.

Tenele moaned softly at his words. The idea lit her insides with fire. She kissed him madly, dipping her lips to his neck where she pinched the skin with her teeth. Her legs wrapped around his waist tightly. She reached down for his belt and pulled his pants open. She slipped away, standing up just beside him and removing the silk panties she wore. She tossed them to the pile of clothing next to them. The moon turned her skin a pale silvery color and caused the fallen strands of hair that fluttered in the wind to dazzle like diamonds.
"My husband," she whispered, running fingers through his hair. She knelt down next to him, dragging her tongue across his chest. She nipped at the flesh. "What has you so insatiable tonight?"
She fell back into the soft grass before him, parting her legs in invitation. Her hands skimmed the inside of her thighs, over her abdomen, and up to her breasts. She reached out for the other half of her drink and handed it up to him. "If you need more liquid courage."

Vlad didn't even glance at the stein. It was impossible to think about wanting it when she was inviting him so beautifully. "I just need you," he murmured in response. "I've needed you, this." He shook his pants the rest of the way off and leaned in over her, kissing her stomach. He had no patience tonight. He wanted everything about her. "My love, I'm about to make a scene," he breathed against her skin.

Tenele giggled as his lips tickled her skin and she set the stein down clumsily. "I don't think anyone is watching," she whispered to him dizzily. "So, make all the scene you want." She caressed his head tenderly and then massaged her hands into his shoulders.

Vlad pressed close and slid deep, deep into her, the urgency in his groan matched in his movements. He gave himself up to the feeling of her, forgetting Sinead and the world outside, especially forgetting Atul and the chapel and all his useless boredom and fear. He let her feel his relief and excitement, building it into his rhythm and the way his lips pressed into hers.

"Ah!" Tenele held tighter to him. There was a certain pattern to her husband's escapades, and one of them was that he usually had this sensual build-up, this subtle warning just before his body invaded hers. There was nothing with this. It was carnal. Need. Desire. Longing in the highest order.
She could feel the relief of that tension in his kiss. Even in her dizzy, buzzy state there was clarity enough to notice that.
She kissed him back, strong and vivid, as if to tell him that she was there for him, to help him, in anyway he needed it.

As soon as he sensed her approval and welcome, he stopped trying to hide his need for her. His hands cupped around her thighs and bent them gently upward until they nearly touched her shoulders. He sucked at her ear and nibbled down her neck, and the need to bite stood out among all his other longings, beating for release. "I love you," he groaned, rubbing against her as he thrust at a carefully chosen angle without holding back. "Ah...fuck..."

Tenele yelped at the new angle, her nails digging into him. "I... love you," she huffed back. She curled against him, muscles tightening. "Oh! Vlad..." She wanted his bite. She wanted it so bad. He hadn't bitten her in months. So, so many months. Tenele's back arched, or as much as it could in her current position. "Ahh ah!" She couldn't stay quiet with the feelings his body gave her, each thrust earned a devoted cry from her. She tilted her head back as pleasure rippled through her, offering her neck to him. "Please."

Vlad stared at her neck, and wanted it so badly the mere thought made him want to moan. At the same time, wariness settled in the pit of his stomach at the idea. No....he could bring her to climax in other ways... he didn't need to have that part of her...
But he missed her.
He slowed down and leaned his forehead against her chest, breathless and frustrated.

Tenele turned a concerned gaze on her husband as his pace decreased. Instead of being a little frustrated that her climax had been postponed, she cupped a tender hand around the back of his head. Something was wrong.
She wrestled to regain composure to speak, placing kisses on the top of his head. Swallowing hard, she tried to find a way to approach him about it.
"I miss you," Tenele whispered to him, brushing her fingers through his short hair. "I miss the way you feel inside my mind, that warmth, like a tender loving caress. I miss how comfortable and safe it makes me. I miss the feeling of your love." Tenele blinked the tears from her eyes. "I don't know why you don't want me... Like that. If it is something I did, I'm sorry. If there is something I can do to make you trust me with that again... I'll do it."

Vlad's eyes opened sharply at her words. "No...I could never stop wanting you," he broke out rapidly. He drew her shoulders tight into his arms and breathed carefully. "I miss you too. But the things you miss..." he hesitated on the words. "I suspect I am not the same as you remember."
