Elena almost screamed. She was so angry, and so sick, and hurt so much. She didn't know if she could take this pain. Both, physically, emotionaly... She squeezed his hand tightly as another contraction went there.

Could she actually do this? Deliver this baby? By herself. No, surely she needed a doctor.

"I love you!" He didn't know what else to say to her,"And I can't lose you."

She looked up at him, cringed, tears rolling down her cheeks.

'He doesn't love you,' the child's voice said, but this time... It was older sounding. 'He wouldn't have slept with that girl.'

She looked at Airen, on the verge of screaming. He slept with her? She just started sobbing. Sobbing and screaming. She fell over, her nails digging into her hands.

What did she have to live for?

'Me, mother, you have to live for me. I will protect you. I will take care of you. I will love you. All you need... is me,' his voice said, almost seducingly. As if he were trying to persuad her to do nothing but love him. At the moment, that didn't seem so bad.

'No I will help you,' he said. Her hand began to grow hot, but she never felt it. It was so hot that it would burn someone who touched her hand. 'I will make him leave you alone.'

Airen could feel the burn grownig between thier hands. He knew what was going on as much as he hated to admit it. It was not his son in Elena's womb. It was the demon that had enslaved and beat her.

"I won't yeild to you Gargon," he spatt. He got close to Elena and began talking softly. "Don't let him control you, my love. That is not your son. He is lying to you."

The heat was growing hotter but Airen held firmly. The heat didn't phase him. "Elena! Only you can get him out of you. I know you don't feel like you can trust me but you must. He is pure evil."

Elena clenched her hand around Airen's. Tears streaming down her cheeks as she closed her eyes tightly. She barely heard Airen try and explain that her baby was evil.

'Don't listen to him mommy... I am your child,' her child said to her as another contraction came.

She screamed, slowly letting herself down to her side. She rolled onto her back, one hand touching her stomach, holding it and pressing down. She gasped for air.

"I can't do thise, I can't do this, I can't... do... this," she cried.

The door opened and the maid stood there watching. She knew by the surroundings that Elena was going to have the baby soon. She ran and with in a few minutes the doctor came running in. "On the bed, we need to get her on the bed..."

Lenna had followed Airen into the room in which everything happened. She watched as Elena had contraction after contraction. What could she do? She watched as Airen tried coxing her into delivery. She overheard everything said. This baby-demon? Gargon? What was going on? Airen obviously hadn't told her everything she needed to know about this situation. He had used her to get everything he needed! Her guidance and strength but most of all her heart and body. Lenna cringed at the thought, but it was true.

"I love you and I can't lose you," she heard him say. 'Don't do this and don't do that my love' How could he do this?! As she stood there watching anger grew within her. She wouldn't hurt him or Elena. How could she? It wasn't in her.

Lenna humbled herself and backed into the corner of the room, heartbroken. She'd stick around to see what was going to happen. She couldn't leave, for she didn't know her way back to Ighten.

Three more doctors came in, one a little more musceled than the others. In fact, he didn't look too much like a doctor at all, but he was dressed like one.

He lifted Elena up, tore her away from Airen's hand and rushed her from the room. Her screams dying as she disappeared down the many halls of the temple. The other doctors followed quickly behind them. It left the strangers alone together.

Airen didn't pull on her because he didn't want risk hurting her. He simply yelled for them to stop and chased after her for a moment before he spotted Lenna in a corner.

She looked to be hurt and used. He knew her reason and went to her side. "Lenna... Are you alright." Just as when he spoke to Elena he was at a loss for words.

Airen's emotions ran crazy through his body. He didn't know what he was feeling. He wanted to comfort Lenna, but at the same time he continued to worry himself sick about Elena and the evil she carried.

"Lenna... I... I... I don't know what to tell you." He dropped and shook his head. "I'm so confused right now. Please don't hate me."

Lenna watched quietly not knowing what to do for Elena, but knew she'd better not. These 'doctors' didn't look to friendly, like they wanted to help. When Airen started following them, she had the urge to rush after also, but his gaze stopped her in her tracks.

"Lenna...Are you alright? I...I...I don't know what to tell you," he dropped and shook his head," I'm so confused right now. Please don't hate me."

Lenna hugged her arms to herself as if to protect her heart from being hurt once more. She looked at Airen as if he were a villian that was out to get her. "Hate you? No, Airen, I don't hate you, but why didn't you tell me you were part of all this," she said, flinging her arms outward as if to show the whole castle," that you still loved her?" her flared arms and hands collapsed into one single arm outstreched with her hand motioning down the hall in which Elena and the doctors went.

Airen stared into her eyes with all the passion as before. "Lenna... I do love her, but... I love you too." He took her outstrtched hand and pulled it to his chest.

"I need you right now also to help me get through this. If you leave, I will worry about you too." Airen held strong but was so close to fallen apart. "Just come with me and let us all talk about this after the baby is born and Elena is well."

Lenna almost sneered when he grabbed her hand but held back. She tilted her head back and looked at him through the corner of her eye,"I couldn't go home even if I tryed could I? Because I don't know my way back," she relaxed and sighed," Where are they taking her?"

Elena fell back against the pillow, panting, gasping. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she tried to recover and regain her breath. She almost faded out, but the sudden sound of a baby crying caught her ear and her attention.

The doctor held the baby cleaned and wrapped in a black sheet. They pulled the covers over Elena to keep her warm. The baby was beautiful in ever aspect. He had piercing violet eyes that faded into red in the outer edges. The baby was marked by a tattoo that was the same as Elena’s. It was on the back of the baby’s neck.

“Would you like to hold him?” the doctor asked the mother of a God.

Elena’s eyes opened wearily and she nodded gently. The doctor placed the baby in her arms and Elena smiled softly as she looked down at it.

The baby stopped crying and grew very quiet as he looked up at his mother. One of his tiny hands reaching out towards her.

Airen noticed the reaxation of Lenna and sighed in relief. She may not trust him but she was still with him at the moment. "Thank you," he whispered kissing her on the corner of her mouth quickly.

He held her hand and pulled her close behind him. "They're taking her to a room." Airen heard the cries of the baby and rushed towards them. Suddenly they stopped but he had already pinpointed the location of them.

He burst through the doors, and glared at doctors in the room and fired burned in his loathsome eyes. "Get out," he growled at them and the doctors stormed out of the doors. Airen looked at Elena holding their son and raced to her side releasing Lenna's hand.

When he saw his son, all thoughts of him being evil were gone. Airen knew that there was no way something this beautiful and amazing could be evil. He looked up at Elena and smiled. "This is our son..." Happiness and love now glowing in his eyes.

Elena smiled wearily at the baby, put her finger out and letting him hold on to it. The baby made a sweet sound and she thought for a moment she saw him smile.

She didn't even here Airen, or notice him. She wasn't ignoring him. She was too caught up by something else.

After a while she looked up to find Airen and that woman standing in her room.

She looked down at the baby and smiled. "Want to see you father?" She held him out to Airen, staring only at Lenna however.

Airen took the baby from its mother and held it up to his chest. Airen rubbed a finger over the baby's forehead. "You're going to be a strong boy." he said. "I will teach you everything I know and you will be a great and loyal man also."

Airen now noticed Elena staring at Lenna, and tried to break the tension a little between them. "Elena! This is Lenna." he introduced, "Lenna this is my wife Elena." For the first time in a while Airen wasn't lost in his feelings. All he felt right now was the love for his son and the happiness it brought him. He couldn't help but smile.

"We've met," Elena said softly, her eyes half-closed. She was so tired.

Luther looked up at Airen with his strange colored eyes and blinked twice before making a angry face, forhead wrinkling.

He let out a soft whine and then started crying curling up his tiny hands.

Elena sighed and opened her eyes again, looking at Luther and his father.

Her eyes then fell on Lenna, but she was too tired to be mean to the woman. It wasn't her fault anyway.

"Here you go little fella," he said handing the child to Elena. "Go see your mama."

Airen picked up one of Elena's hands and kissed it softly then he kissed her on the forehead," This is our son, he is made of us," he smiled and kissed her again but this time on the lips.
