Mi didn't answer him. He was not worth time at the moment. So she packed her things and followed him out of the room. When she got to the hall she walked in front of him, leading the way to the downstairs and towards the door to the outside. She looked back at her father who watched her from a balcony. "Go and die."
"I know," she said and opened up the door. "But, I guess death would feel better than what you would do to me."
So she left... She walked into the darkness that was blacker than black.

She looked down at him again. "Arroes it is," she said. She moved the horse forward. "Well, do you want a ride? Or would you prefer to walk?" She didn't want to give him a ride, but they needed to get to there destination before the curse began to take effect. She couldn't let him know that. Not yet.
"I'm in a hurry so make your decision fast," she told him, looking back at the cottage.

Damien felt drained from all the magic he had used and really didn't feel like walking or conjuring a beast to carry him. He didn't know if he could conjure a ride right now. "So now you're in a hurry all of a sudden." he said cockily. "but I will take a ride."
He jumped on the horse steadying himself by putting his hands on her hips.

Mi allowed him up and when he was on the back of the horse, the horse rared a bit, but she calmed him. "Fireheart, get used to it. He's going for a ride." She kicked the horse and loosened the reigns and he tore off down the rocky slope that had led up to the cliff on which the house was built.
They jumped the river of lava and dodged the falling fireballs and when they were out of the forbidden forest they entered the harsh dessert, which the wind blew sand at there backs. Behind them the mountain roared as if with fury, spouting fire into the heavens.
"The Fire God Gargon is angry," she said and smiled slyly. "I wonder what for."
Fireheart ran like a bullet, galloping across the flat hard surface of the dessert. He jumped canyons and cracks in the earth as he made his way towards the Raith Village.
At first Mi thought about teloporting, however... Her adrinalin was too high and she needed to have a release before she literally bursted into flames.
The guards were standing in a line facing them, as if they knew she were coming. Well, of course they did... They were intruders and had gotten past them once.
"If I were you," Mi called back behind her, "I would hold on for dear life."

Damien held her firmly as he rode along the trail uncomfortably. He didn't expect it to be a pleasant ride but not quite as rough as this. As they approached the home of the Raiths' Damien noticed the stream of archers lining the wall. "Great!" he muttered.
"If I were you... I would hold on for dear life." he heard and held his grip firmly around her waist. He leaned forward slightly trying to let the wind slip over his back.

Mi smiled and noticed the line of men blocking her path with swords drawn. "Huh," she chuckled. "What a bunch of fools."
She kicked Fireheart and the horse snorted as if in agreement and sped up. A war horse such as he could move faster than any horse she had seen. He tore towards the swordsmen without so much as a flinch to show he feared. He didn't. He was trained to go headlong into battle and if he could laugh, she guessed he would laugh in there faces too.
"Yah!" She said as she kicked him to urge him faster. Closer, closer. Second over second the swords men grew closer.
At first they just stood there, expecting the woman to stop. Excepting her to slow down. Surely she was not crazy enough to run right into a bunch of swords? Surely not.
However, at this point it was useless for Mi to fear death. Death was at her back.
They drew there swords and as her horse was about to collide with the four in the middle, they got smart and jumped out of the way. She laughed and tore right past them. The archers readied there bows and Mi began her circular run as if she were going around invisible barrels. The arrows danced all around them, but because of the manuver most missed. While they reloaded Fireheart ran in a straight line... She heared the sound of arrows in the air and turned Fireheart to dodge some... but now everyone was shooting at once. Arrows were everywhere. Though she felt one peirce her skin it felt like nothing more than a ant bite, for her body was numb to pain. She had expereinced so much in life that pain did not effect her.
She looked down as they continued to gallop. "Well, that is annoying...."

Damien saw the arrow as it stuck into her side. To avoid further injury Damien threw one of his hands up into the air. "Naur Ram!!!" He shouted and a wall of fire formed between them and the archers that remained.
The fire was bright and the archers stood in awe at the fiery cataclysm the rose above them. Damien smiled at his own power.

Mi looked back at him. "Take the reigns for a moment while I get rid of this aggrivation," she told him, letting go of the reigns and gripping the arrow with one hand. She pulled it out with out so much as a flinch or an "ouch" and with her other hand she used a finger to catalize the wound so it would not bleed.
"There," she said and went to take the reigns again. "That was fun."

Damien took the reigns and gave them back as soon as she was ready to take them. "We should stop as soon as possible," he yelled through the wind as it howled past them. "That needs to tended too."
As they made it out of range of the last archer Damien released the wall and it vanished beneath the earth's crust.

"Its fine," she said. "It doesn't hurt."
They road up a sand dune and slid down the other side. Up and down, until they had to slow down so Fireheart could rest a bit. They slowed to a calm walk, the horse moving along, taking in deep breaths. Soon she knew they would need to stop for the night to get some rest, and she knew he would ask again to take care of her wound.
Why he cared, she didn't understand.

The long tread slowed and finally came to a halt. "Finally!" Damien said as he jumped from the back of the horse. He looked around and it was rather plain. They weren't quite too Arroes yet but they should be by midday tomorrow.
He looked at Mi and her wound. "It may not hurt," he prodded, "but it could still get infected." He didn't know much of healing himself but surely there was something they could do about it.

Mi got off the horse and pored water into a soup bowl from the saddle bag for the horse. "Its not going to get infected," Mi said and looked back at him. "I'm fine."
She lifted up her shirt until it was above her belly button. "See," she said as she revealed the wound. She had burned the outer edges with her hands, cartalizing the wound to keep infection out and to keep it from bleeding. Although it would only keep infection out temporarily. She burned herself with out even flenching, getting hit with an arrow didn't even make her gasp.
Pain was an insagnifigant thing, trivial... like an insect bite.
"What do you care anyway," she said. "Men care nothing for another human being, especially evil men."
