Airen laughed a little when Elena came back to the living room. He hadn't seen her get this exciting about anything in a while. She was acting like a small child who had just got a new puppy. "Well I'm ready, too." Airen had pulled on his own boots and put his sword on his side. "The poles are outside," he murmered.
As they sat on the banks of the small pond, Airen found himself laughing and having the time of his life. They were having a pretty good day. The sun was warm and the fish were biting. He glanced over at Elena and smiled. Her hair blew in the soft southern breeze.

Elena gasped when it felt like the pole had been jerked from her hand. She held it fast and tugged quickly on it. "I got one!" she said, almost jumping up and down.
She pulled on the pole, unable to see how she would get all the line in. So she began to walk up the bank until she had drug the fish onto shore.
She laughed and ran back to the fish, picking up the line and holding it up. It was a pretty big catfish and she had to hold the string wih both hands.
She reached down and tried to pull it off the hook. It wiggled quickly and its fins cut into her fingers. "Ouch!" she yelped and dropped the flopping fish on the ground, holding her stinging fingers.

Airen hurried to her laughing the whole way. He reached down to grab the fish, but it had already managed to flop back into the water. He tried to stop laughing to check on Elena but couldn't keep a straight face.
"Are you okay?" he asked laughing. He took her hand in his own and blew on her cut finger. As he blew on it, the blood seemed to stop flowing out and the cut closed. "How's that?" he asked sincerely.
Airen lowered himself down on one knee still holding Elena's hand. He looked up to her sweet innocent eyes and saw the woman he was meant to spend the rest of his life with. He heard a loud roaring in his ears and realized it was the sound of his own heart beat. His hands began trembling as he started to speak,"Elena! Will you...uh..." His eyes filled up with tears of joy. He never imagined it would be this hard, "Elena I love you very much and I want to spend the rest of my life with you and I just wanted to know..." He cleared his throat and finally asked, "Elena, will you marry me?"

Elena smiled grinned and ruffled his hair like he was a little boy. "Wasn't the first time I said yes all you needed to know?" she asked and got on her own knees, the bottom of her dress getting wet in the bed. "I love you Airen... I want to marry you..."

Airen could feel the burning on his face. " I just wanted to make sure that you still felt the same way." He stood up now holding both of her hands. He kissed her passionatley.
"Why don't we get married today?" he asked.

"I wouldn't ever change my mind about marrying you," she said to him. "How could I since I am carrying your child..."
She put a hand to her flat stomach and smiled softly.
"Today? Today, tomorrow... whenever you want..."

"Today would be the perfect day," he prodded. He could feel the excitement building inside of him."The sun is shining and there is a nice little breeze. The time is perfect." He pulled her by the hand and made his way back towards the village.

Elena shifting onto her back in the bed. Finding it hard to get comfortable. She tossed and turned, trying her best not to wake Airen. It wasn't even close to being morning....
She sat up slowly and pulled on her robe and tied it around her to keep her warm. She left him in the bed, smiling at how peaceful he looked sleeping.
She stepped through there living room and into there kitchen. She put a kettle over the fire and took a seat at the kitchen table, waiting on the water to boil.
She put her hand to her stomach, which had gotten a bit bigger in the last month. It seemed like the more it grew the more she couldn't sleep...

Airen shifted and turned unplesantly in bed. He sat up quickly, looking around frantically. He didn't see Elena anywhere. He jumped out of bed and rushed through the house.
When he got to the kitchen, he saw her standing there next to the sink looking out the window. "Elena !" he whispered. "Why aren't you in bed?"
Airen had been having the dream of seeing the evil, hideous creature as his baby and very rarely got a good nights sleep.

"Couldn't get comfortable," she said to him with a smile, turning and leaning on arm against the counter. "What about you? Why don't you go back to sleep... I'm just making some hot tea to make me sleepy... I'll be there in a little while."

"I can't sleep either," he replied. He took a seat at the table. "I keep having the same nightmare over and over. I don't know what it means though." He sighed and put his face between his hands. He really was tired but there was no point in trying to sleep.

"You know what they say," she said in a joking way. "If you have it three times in a row it will come true..."
Elena didn't really beleive in that sort of things. To her dreams held no meaning at all. Its why the dream about Gargon only scared her. Nothing more. Gargon hadn't come back to life to try and take her to protect her and love her...
The tea kettle wistled and she took it off the fire, pooring it into too small cups. She turned and handed a cup to Airen and kept one in her hand as she took a seat at the table.
"I just felt uncomfortable. Couldn't find the right sleeping position...."

Airen turned his attention to the door. Something bustled outside. "Stay here!" he insisted Elena.
He creeped over to the window to peak out but found nothing. " I'm gonna go check it out." he said opening the door and walking out.
Airen heard the sound moving around the side of the house. He followed but didn't see anything. He only heard it. Suddenly the noise sounded a lot closer. The shrubs against the side of the house began shaking and Airen heard a whining coming from within the bushes.
Airen laughed when he saw a small puppy walk out. It seemed to be only a few weeks old. He picked him up from the ground. The puppy was a light tan color and had a white diamond on his chest just below his neck. He stroked the puppy's back and headed back inside.

Elena locked the door back behind Airen when he left. She didn't want to be attacked if there was some foe outside and Airen had gone to take care of it. When she heard his familiar footsteps she opened to door to find him standing there with a small fury object in his arms.
"Aww!" she said a bit too loudly and rushed forward to see what sort of creature it was.
The puppy lifted his head at her exagerated sound and she ruffled his fur with a large smile on her face. She loved puppies! They were so cute and loveably.
"Where did you find him?" she asked softly, glancing up at Airen with her violet eyes. "He's so cute!"

"That's the noise we heard outside." he replied, thrilled to see how it cheered her up. "It probaly belongs to someone in the town. I'll check around tommorow." He handed the small, playful pup to her and went into the living room.
He moved the pillows around on the sofa so that they could sit down and then he added, "If no one claims it, I suppose we could keep it." He took a seat on the couch.
